Great selection for a variety of tastes. They are good about taking special orders.

2.5 stars Food Ok, service was friendly, $$/4 pricewise, décor was chic Asian contemporary Had the roll combo a-ok, caterpillar roll-ok, sushi lunch a-ok. Overall the rolls tasted dry and honestly they had so much in the menu they couldn’t have specialized or be good at any one thing. Only redeeming thing was that our server was super friendly very nice and it look like it was a family run business. Would recommend if you’re with a large group with varying taste this place would probably accommodate everyone because of its extensive menu but we will probably not go back because there are other restaurants that we want to try and like more

Our waitress was completely ‘put out’ by our requests. The hibachi guy acted the same way. I have always loved the sushi from this place. I was very disappointed.

We order takeout from here about once a week — great mongolian beef, crab fried rice, chicken & broccoli and crab rangoons. The Thai curries are not very good form the one time we ordered(I LOVE thai curry) but if you stick with the Chinese stir fries and are looking for a quick easy takeaway place, this is great!

Favorite local place for sushi! The hibachi grill is awesome too. Chefs are fun and make great food. The sushi is delicious and they have great specials. They serve Thai, Chinese, and Japanese.

Ambience — average Food — only rolls Service — just OK I got stones in one of the dish and they were trying to blame us by saying that we never had this type of complain ever and if I have something in my teeth which came out. Hilarious.

Came here for an impromptu date night, as we were hungry and didn’t feel like cooking. Saw the 50% off sushi sign, and figured that could either be really good for our wallets or really bad for our stomachs. The thrifty side of me won over, so in we go! The atmosphere was semi-nice but we were not greeted at all when we walked in. Stood there for a minute and just decided to sit at the bar. They have hibachi tables set-up on one side of the bar and normal seating on the other side. Well, guess we should have known by the fact we weren’t greeted that we weren’t going to be greeted fast at the bar. Had to ask for a menu, and finally got one. Thought it was cool they had some of everything on the menu, kind of like a full service Asian bistro. The hostess must have been the owner too, and he just wasn’t really that nice. My honey went to order one of their mixed drinks off the menu, only to be told they only serve beer and wine. LMAO, so WHY are they on the menu??? Oh well, didn’t matter anyways b/c she forget her ID. We started off with a ginger salad for her and miso soup for me. Her salad was your typical ginger salad you might find at a low scale hibachi grill. Nothing to write home about. My miso soup was below par. The taste wasn’t right and kind of started off the whole meal badly. Would not recommend it. We ordered the Atomic Bomb and Jalapeño Rolls after that. When the rolls arrived, they were lumped together on one plate(guess i’m just used to them coming on separate plates but that’s no reason to complain, actually made it easier to eat everything). They did both look good, but the fish just wasn’t that fresh tasting(especially on the atomic bomb. My honey was not happy with their spicy mayo, but the wasabi did have a nice kick to it. It was not the best sushi I’ve ever had and certainly not the worst. I’d give it a step up above Ru san’s. I did enjoy the jalapeño roll however. I will say, the price will probably bring us back again($ 12 for two rolls, yes please) and the location but i’m just torn that we have yet to find any type of restaurant near us we like. If the service was better, I would have easily gone three stars. This is not a must try by any means but if you’re on a budget(and get hungry while shopping at publix), and want a sushi roll, check this place out on their half-off nights. Other than that, I’d go elsewhere.

Its just. ok. I love the convenience of its location. But there is basically never anyone in the restaurant. I have started ordering delivery or pick-up just because it kind of wigs me that no one is ever there. However, the ambiance is actually really nice. Modern, updated, good lighting. Pretty bar. But why isn’t anyone there? The food is just ok. Lots and lots of variety. Any kind of asian you could imagine. The curry to me, however, is a little too thick and doesn’t have awesome flavor. The veggies, fried rice, & spring rolls are always good. Go with the basics. I’ve enjoyed the basics many times. I also know they always have generous sushi and hibachi specials often if you are into that.

Service was slow. Bit into chicken and nearly broke my tooth on a bone. Ruined my whole meal after that. Would not go back.

This place has a great special from Monday to Thursday and that is half-priced sushi. That should catch anyone’s attention. It did mine. The sushi is good and fresh though a little on the smaller side. It isn’t too bad and is still a good value. The place itself is pretty nice. They have hibachi grills as well as a separate sit down area. I don’t know if this place will replace our normal sushi spot but I am pretty sure we will visit if the sushi bug bites again during the middle of the week.

Ate here again with the family after taking a long break. We were the only family in on this Sunday night for Hibachi and sushi. The food is good, the sushi was made by the owner while we waited and they had a half price sushi special. The Hibachi cooking was not fun for the kids –main reason we went-guy just cooked and got it over with. No fancy tricks, no peeing spray bottle. The server was friendly but didn’t bring ice cream desserts like they used to. I got the feeling their business may be hurting. Did notice their health dept score as we were leaving. 82, but I didn’t read the reasons. Kids were a good bit disappointed in the experience as they chefs used to be fun, loud, laughing before and they always used to bring the kids dessert and a little gift-calendar, drink umbrella, scroll, etc. For the food we got, the value $ was good but the experience just not what it used to be. They are advertising a good bit and that’s what got us back in. But, the lack of other customers was worrisome. Some ideas for this restaurant? Drink specials, happy hours, let’s get the chefs to put on a show even if there are only 4 people at the hibachi table. Some fun music could help, maybe the staff could break into The Chicken Dance a couple of times an evening. Hibachi should be fun, especially for young, well-to-do families in this bedroom community.

Overall, a very good place. Food and service are usually very good, with the food marginally outpacing the service. Lunch is definitely the better value — I think you almost get more food, for almost half the price. Either way, the plate is very generous. 4 people can eat lunch for around $ 25 and dinner for about $ 50. The menu has plenty of options, from Japanese cuisine, sushi and Thai. The Suwanee location also has a hibachi grill option, which isn’t quite as showy as some other hibachi restaurants, but it is passable. Some of my visits have been better than others, but I’m not one to over-react to an off night and leave a 1-star review. Very rarely do I believe that an operating establishment deserves such criticism. Overall, Pacific Spice is a great place to grab a meal, and I will be returning time and time again.

Average at best. Very expensive for the quality. Sushi is always warm and portions are small. Very rarely is it crowded and we go there when we get our 50% off coupon in ValPak. Kids like it but not a place I get excited about!

Would rate this place lower than 1 star! When you ask them to accommodate your Shell fish allergy, they make you feel like you are bothering them. After repeated bad attitude vibes from the waiter, we got up and left. I would never go back to this place. No one was there at lunch on a Saturday… that should have been a sign.

Never order from here, ever. Hands down the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I called for delivery and they said it would take about 30 minutes and the delivery guy would call me when he arrives. What happens? I wait patiently for 45 minutes and there wasn’t a single answer. I called Pacific Spice asking where my food was and the lady tells me there was a «flat tire» on the way and she wanted me to come to the restaurant to pick it up. Then she tells me how the delivery man had texted me saying he had a «flat tire» but I had no such text sent to me. I asked for a refund and she put me on hold for 10 minutes. Terrible, just terrible service. I will be never coming here again.

I’m giving them 5 stars based on their take-out as compared to similar restaurants in the area. This place has by far the best Chinese take out in a 10 mile radius. If I’m wrong, someone please tell me who has better Chinese take-out!!! Our recent order was for Sweet n Sour Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Shrimp Egg foo young, egg rolls and crab rangoon. Everything we ordered was near perfect. Their prices are a bit higher than average, but a 15% coupon is easy to find via google or in your pile of junk mail. Edit: I’m going to take this review down a notch based on current visits and cost compared to competitors. Still an excellent choice for Chinese and Sushi, but 5 stars should be a very high bar. Also, see my recent review of «Green China Café» since I may have answered my own challenge. :)
