After having a horrible experience with adult braces, I was referred to Dr. Patel. With the damage done by the orthodontist you could see the roots of all my teeth. They were very long, awful teeth and it was embarrassing to smile. Many teeth were loose and ready to fall out! After several ‘second’ opinions, and much money, I found out, because of the braces my teeth were going to fall out, some quickly and some within the next few years. They said they’d never seen anything like this before. I took immaculate care of my teeth so that was never an issue. My whole life I was afraid to smile, which is why I got the braces in the first place, and now this was my worst nightmare. Dr. Patel was probably my fifth opinion. She was very sweet and I could tell right away she really cared. It was a very emotional time for me and Dr. Patel hugged me while I cried over my situation. Dr. Patel gave me her home phone number in case I had any questions. She called me at home the next day to check on me as well as several times during my treatment. Her price for treatment was in the same range as all the other dentists. Through this whole process there were many times many dentists would have given up, in fact two dentists I had seen for opinions told me they wouldn’t be able to help me. I have a lower jaw that protrudes and makes everything even more complicated. Even doing the impressions was a chore for her, my teeth had become so long she needed to invent a new tray just for me. There were many times she ran into problems and didn’t give up, she was very inventive and always figured something out to help me. She never gave up. I feel so blessed having met her. My teeth are now beautiful. Now, I can smile with confidence and it has really changed my life. I feel more confident in every way. I have Lupus, Fibromyalgia and TMJ. I was sick in bed more days of the week then not. I am happy to say I’m out of bed every day and in remission. I have my life back better than ever. It is all thanks to Dr. Patel and the beautiful smile she gave me. She not only gave me a beautiful smile she gave me a healthier, more confident, happier life. She is the Best around. I drive over an hour to go see her and will continue to do so. Her office is beautiful, modern, clean and comfortable. There was never a wait more than five minutes. Her staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Her assistant Kris is great and knows what she wants even before she asks. Her entire staff is wonderful and I can’t recommend her enough. Don’t waste your time (and money) like I did with other opinions; just go straight to the best. She worked amazing miracles for me and I was an extremely hard case. They even talked about putting me in dental magazines due to what a complicated case this was. If she can do this for me I know she will be absolutely amazing for you too.

I’d like to point out that I have had the same dentist since I was 13 and was very sad to leave him after moving away from Miami. Honestly… this is a personal and important relationship because I have such sh*tty dental health (genetics, what are you going to do). I basically chose this doctor because it was very close to home and work and the two reviews on Unilocal were good. Of course this is going out on a limb but I could not be more pleased.
First of all, these offices look like an episode of MTV Cribs. BEAU-​TI-​FUL. Like, can I live here? Secondly, the doctor is very personable and doesn’t talk down on you as some healthcare professionals are wont to do. She asked the right questions and ensured my needs were met, which of course vary from patient to patient.
I am looking forward to my next appointment and updating my review once my deep cleaning is done. Did I mention they provide blankets? Dentist offices are always so cold. This is a plus. CHEEEEEESE.

Who likes their dentist or going to the dentist? Well, I LOVE my dentist. Dr. Patel is incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and sweet. She really educated me on my teeth, and takes pictures of them to show you as well. For years, I’ve been grinding my teeth, and most dentists in the past have told me, but no one until Dr. Patel had educated me really on the importance of care for this. I truly feel she has providing much needed intervention that could have been very costly had I not addressed it. She seems to be big on prophylactic care, and I love that. The office is really nice, and the staff is very friendly. They offer bottled water, sodas, and snacks. They even give you a warm towel to wash your face after your treatment. It’s top notch service at a top notch place. I really cannot say enough good things about this practice. Please check it out!

I, like many people, am not fond of the dentist. I’ve had more than one tragic experience (read: many) as a child because my teeth grew in the craziest ways, soooo I was pretty apprehensive about this visit. However, I’m happy to say that the staff is incredibly nice — almost too nice that you start to feel bad that they care so much and keep checking on you to make sure that you’re feeling comfortable — and Dr. Patel seems like a nice and knowledgeable dentist. I talked to her about my wisdom teeth concerns and she gave me answers, and made sure that my first experience with cavities was as «pleasant» as possible. The hygienist Susan is super nice and very good at what she does, which is great because I’ve encountered a lot of bad hygienists before.
The facility is brand-​new with a contemporary style, and once you walk in, you’re immediately greeted by the very friendly receptionists (I swear there’s like 5 of them… I don’t know why there’s so many?). If you want, you can get something to drink from the mini fridge in the lobby. Hmm and the exam rooms flaunt the latest gadgets, complete with tv… I watched the Barefoot Contessa and Rachael Ray during my visit. Oh, and my «goodies bag» included Sendosyne toothpaste and copies of my x-​rays, which I thought was pretty sweet haha
