So, my fiancé and I stayed at this place Friday night because we were attending a wedding nearby… We arrived shortly before 5pm… ran in the room, threw our bags in there, and went straight to the wedding. At the wedding, a few people said they were surprised by how clean the rooms were, so we felt better about staying here. Later that night(around 2am) we got back to our room… exhausted. As we were about to climb into the bed, my fiancé stops dead in his tracks… me: What??? him: Is that sperm? me: Wait, what? where? him: I think that’s sperm… :we inspect it like a crime scene: him: that is definitely sperm me: that blanket has got to go :rips the top blanket off the bed: him: is THAT sperm?! me: oh my fkn god… him: there is sperm on both the top blankets? are you kidding me?! me: That blanket has got to go… needless to say, the sheets were fine… but the top 2 blankets do not get washed as there was«children» of previous guests all over the blankets… Did we have fun in our room? Absolutely not, but obviously, everyone else has… I was too nervous that I would get pregnant from touching the furniture… Try a washing machine once in a while, huh?

So gross. My husband and I stayed here on 8÷29÷2014 even the non smoking rooms smell like smoke. The bathroom was dirty, everything is so dated. Very uncomfortable beds, dirty smokey hallways, just awful. The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We were attending a wedding at Arrowhead acres, and this was the oldest motel that looked decent in pictures. I even read some good reviews about it. We were maybe 1 of 10 guests staying there, which is weird for the summer I thought. We couldn’t wait to go home and shower. I usually love staying in Hotels/motels.

This hotel is terrible. Avoid it if you can. I had booked a 1 night stay here in a room with two queen beds. When entering the room I was assigned I smelt this very strong mold smell. The smell was gross. After that I decided to check under the covers(which were printed with flowers, very old & worn down with little balls of fabric) like I do at every hotel I stay in. Under the covers I found hair on both beds and drool-looking stains in the pillows. I then went into the bathroom to check if those had also been cleaned and found a bunch of facial looking hairs in the sink still as if it had not been washed out. I was disgusted at this point. Not to mention my mini fridge was making an awful noise which was very annoying. After these discoveries I went to the front desk to tell the lady working there. She had the worst customer service I had ever experienced. after I told her about my room she told me that the maids cleaned it today and it couldn’t be that there was any hair there. She would not believe me, so I insisted on getting new sheets. She called over the man, Steve, I believe his name was, who was cleaning the rooms at this time and he told me the same thing she did about the room being cleaned. I was very upset at this point and insisted on a refund. At this point the guy asked what I needed new and that he would change it. So after he changed it and my boyfriend telling the lady at the desk he wanted someone who was in charge I went back to my room. Only to find that he only changed one of the bed sheets and only the pillow cases on the other. I was very upset that I also found the hair still in the sink. Also there was still hair in the bed. I went to the office and said that nothing had been done. I finally ended up getting a refund which will now take 2 weeks to get deposited. So my advice to anyone looking to save money on a room or looking into this hotel. Save yourself the aggravation and frustration and just spend a little more money. Don’t bother with this hotel and their extremely rude and unqualified employees.
