Still catching up on my reviews from vacation and I had to make sure I got to The Bookworm. Every year we come to LBI and bring books with us and every year we STILL end up in The Bookworm to buy something new anyway. Yeah, I know, some of you think books are old school with the whole Kindle/​Nook thing, but I need a book in my hand rather than an e-​reader.
I love supporting local bookstores whenever I can, even if it means paying a little more, which is one of the reasons we always stop here while on vacation. The only downside is that the place is a little small so their selection is not what you can find in a big box bookstore and they can’t afford to discount their books the same way either. However, we picked up a book my son was itching to read and they gave us a 20% discount for buying the hardcover. Not too shabby… definitely recommended.
