Delicious little hole in the wall bakery and restaurant with lots of authentic Mexican desserts and dishes. We got a piece of flan and a Don Guayo sandwich(fresh bakery bread, egg, cheese, jalapeño, tomato and avocado) for breakfast. More than enough for two to share! Who doesn’t love getting an authentic meal for under $ 5 each in NYC!

went in for some cheesecake for my cravings yesterday and got an old dry piece of strawberry cheesecake that was hard as rock :-(i should’ve known because it didn’t look fresh. First and last time coming here. Ill stick to my original bakery on 54th&5th. Café con pan.

I’m a sucker for spicy food and this food was spiiicy. I ate one of their cuban sandwiches and the plate of chicken with rice, which came with some tortillas and sales. with avocado! I just stuffed everything in the tortilla and ate as a fajita. The green sauce is good(like sofrito). The meat in the Cuban sandwich is like the pernil we eat in Puerto Rico! That is hard to find. My kids also had some chicken tostadas. Yum! I tasted everything and everything was delicious… even the coffee. I also took home some of their cakes: cupcakes(a bit dry), tres leches(creamy goodness), and random sweet bread(hadn’t tasted anything like it)… Their breakfast looked soo good too. Let you guys know when I taste it. Why rant on. Bottom line: GO, you won’t regret it!

Totally worth it. Great price for good food. Open 24 hrs every day. You can eat anything you want at anytime. It’s a bakery and restaurant. 100% recommended.

the cake I had wasn’t too sweet which I liked. It came with dulce de leche on the top and had layers of whipped cream and custard. The puff pastry in between was perfectly baked as well. I will definitely come back.

I casually asked the worker what she recommend I eat. She recommended tostadas(#10 on the menu). I am so glad I asked because the dish turned out to be awesome. Imagine tacos but with a hard, crunchy flat corn shell topped with beans, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, cream and cheese with your choice of meat(bistec, pollo, enchilada, chorizo, cecina, tinga). The cheese really fulfills the taste. There a several diner-like tables to sit in and bar stools as well. Service is quick and their employees are very pleasant. Oh and their menu makes note of them having the best biscuits in the tri-state area. I will try them out.
