I give a 5 for the guy who was super generous and super sweet to me and my husband. I give it a 3 because of the lack support he got. He had a line and it was only the cook and him. The food wasn’t great it was kinda cold & he fries were cold as well. This place needs work

First time trying and ordering, the fries are amazing and so are the burgers. They are however really greasy so I would eat this as often, price is reasonable since the taste is amazing! Will order from here again definitely! Didn’t take long to come, so perfect sudden cravings.

Every time I visit this Checkers they never have blue cheese sauce for the wings! I’ve been buying wings from them for a few years and this has been an ongoing problem. I’ve also experience on more then one occasion.. slow service… like extremely slow!!! 20 + minutes sometimes! Poor service, out of things from the menu and even have seen the workers making fun of the customers.. this checkers needs to get it togeather. I hope the managers see this so they can make some changes. Thank you.

Had checkers once in Long island, it was pretty bomb. Had it in sunset park, it bombed. Slowest service ever. Cashier mixed out diet cola with regular cola and wasn’t willing to try and remidy and just wanted to be smart with us. Place feels like a dirty crown fried chicken in the hood. Never again

This place is awful… it’s very understaffed, the food takes longer than other fast food places. I ordered a deep sea double and the fish came out burned.

i give 1 star because of the employees… the food was horrible soggy hamburger buns, fries n carton smothered in oil. the only ok but not great was the baconzilla. u would think because checkers is a well known name the owners of this establishment would b on point but i guess not every location would have the same drive to do right by customers. but like i said the 1 star is for the employees.

Please do not come here… terrible service I mean Terrible I usually don’t write reviews but this place is SOOOO terrible I had to get my ass on Unilocal to write a damn review. FIRE THE DAMN MANAGER he doesn’t do ANYTHING. WHOEVER OWNS THIS CHECKER HAS GO TO BE THE BIGGEST IDIOT to be hiring people like this. «A WEAK HIRE WILL ONLY STRENGTHEN YOUR ENEMY» that is why i would rather go to mcdonald or burger king. This owner needs to take some business class too. TERRIBLE. and the food here SUCKS. fries are way too damn salty. burgers taste like crap. Bread was stale. WTH kind of crap are you serving people.

First time here, disappointing. Skip the shrimp/​chicken box processed stuff not good. New store so I give two star. Plenty of room for improvement.

For months we all walked past this damn corner waiting for Checkers to open, often I would see the girls leaving work after their training sessions before they opened so I came on Opening Day expecting some decent service and not some newbies thrown to the wind…
Well, newbies is beyond the word. Kudos to whoever is cooking because at least all my food was hot which is the best perk out of everything. I came and the register was having issues, but instead of telling me while I waited there to order I had to ask and they said no and go wait in the other long ass line another ten minutes. Meanwhile there was about 4 (and probably two more but not sure) managers/​big wigs on the floor. WTF is going on. Ok, I will cut them some slack, probably a mad rush since the people in this neighborhood are desperate for any new food, especially good food. Checkers as a whole has some awesome fast food but this one sucks. Most of them in NY do but this is the worst.
The fries are over salted here, like all you can taste is salt. Even with all the visible pepper. I saw a lady complain about it while I was ordering, and thought she was being a pain, but no, she was right. The burger wasn’t how I asked for it, they slathered it in mayo when I asked for none.
I came again today. The lines aren’t long but the workers are snail paced and rather talk to each other than just make your food. Even late at night when it’s dead, you’re waiting forever for food, ESPECIALLY at that walk up window. The worker will leave the window and come back a half hour later. Jeeze. I wish I could call in my order and just pick it up at this pace.
The best thing here are the Sundaes. They are really tasty, but it’s getting cold out so probably won’t be enjoying it for long. I hope they get it together soon because I love Checkers fries, but the ones here are really inedible.

I know that this location just opened yesterday, so perhaps I should be more lenient. But they are pretty clueless here.
They had two registers «open», a line of 4 people standing in front of one with NO ONE manning it, while the line next to us continued to move and piss us off.
A poor employee who was trying to leave and had already clocked out kept getting suckered into taking orders. Which I’m PRETTY sure is illegal, and just f’d up. She should’ve been allowed to go.
I waited about 5 minutes for my food which is fine. That’s to be expected. But they had probably 11 employees making the food, and ONE working the register and serving it. That makes zero sense.
Of course, once I got the food, it was BANGIN’!!!
Figure it out, Checkers!!! Up your service and you’ll be opening another location in this hood in a minute!!!
