super cute place to stay! we had room #2 which had a lovely sitting area… décor inside the rooms and outside is adorable! only three rows back from the beach(took me literally less than 1 min to walk to the sand)…matt(i think that’s his name) answered all of my phone calls and questions both before and during the stay… room had a fridge, coffee maker with complimentary coffee(keurig) and there was complimentary sparking cider(usually i think it’s wine but i indicated that we do not drink and Matt gave us apple cider)…two doors down from«Harbor House» restaurant… i would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I have stayed here three different times, with and without our three kids. It is PERFECT!!! There is always so much attention to details in every room. Big screen TVs, Keurigs, mini fridge and freezer, Philosophy toiletries, gorgeous decorations, and THEMOSTCOMFORTABLEBEDEVER!!! Seriously, I never want to leave the room. It is in a perfect location, on PCH, walking distance to restaurants and bars and literally STEPS from the sand! There is an ice machine, sand toys for the kids, beach towels in case you forget one, and cute seating outside the rooms to enjoy the sounds and smells of the beach. The owners are AMAZING and always accommodating. I LOVE staying here and hate leaving. Can’t wait to go back!

I have stayed here many times. It has been an exceptional experience each and every time. I have stayed in different rooms, and I can tell you they are all beautifully decorated, clean, and very comfortable. The beds are amazing. Better sleep than on my own bed. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. It is a place like no other. Attention to detail is amazing. At least one big screen TV in the rooms we stayed in. One of them even had two very large Tv’s. Love the Kuerig in each room. And the added refrigerators were great also. We stayed in December and January. It was very quiet each and every time we stayed. And it was a very short walk right to the beach. The surrounding neighbors seemed to be very friendly also. There are lots of great restaurants within walking distance and a great Farmer’s Market right across the street on Saturdays. Anyone coming in the area should stay here at least once… you’ll keep coming back like we are. Definite 5 stars… AA++ all the way!

I feel as if I’m sleeping in a small spare bedroom of some stranger’s Grandmother. The room’s accents all seem to be purchased from the bargain bin at a local Cost Plus. I know someone is watching me from the spy camera in the dummy smoke detector on the ceiling above the bed. They would have seen me sleeping if it weren’t for the screaming kids running up and down the balcony outside my door. Five stars.

Took us a while to find a place to spend the night but once we found this place our breaths were taken away by the absolute romantically cute and homey vibe this suite elicited. This place is very underrated and deserves to be in the top suites in west coast for couples who love simplicity and romance. Not to mention all the cute and crafty folding in the towels, napkins and even toilet paper! Just a place like no other! We will definitely be checking in to this suite again in the near future.

What a great little find. I saw this place every time I would cycle through PCH. We recently had a party to attend in Huntington Beach and so we made a staycation out of it. Sunset Suites was perfect. It’s tiny but oh so cute. It felt like something in Europe. We got there and were greeted by Mathew(Owner or Manager, not sure but he’s a nice younger kid). The room was super clean with all the amenities. I repeat, it was small but we knew that going into it. We stayed in suite 4. I believe most of the other rooms are larger. The hotel is nicely decorated and in tip top shape aesthetically. While it sits on PCH and it can be loud, it didn’t keep us from enjoying a bottle of wine outdoors. Afterwards, we walked to the Beach which is literally just a few steps away. I think this is my favorite little get-away hotel in the LA area. It’s really well priced too. We paid just a $ 100 on a sunny Saturday.

This place was suuuuper cute! Small and homely, almost felt like a bed a breakfast. Room was clean, had everything you needed, and was a hop skip and a jump from the beach. There were also a ton of great restaurants just walking distance. A great accommodation, the beach, and great food all at your finger tips, it doesn’t get any better than that! I can’t wait to go back! Thanks Mathew.

I was in a wedding last weekend and was asked to stay in a room that was going to cost me $ 360.00 for two nights. I decided to take it upon myself and find something less expensive, I’d just drive to meet up with them wedding morning. I found this:
Definitely a gem of a find. I called to check on availability and pricing. I have to admit that it being such short notice, next day, I was worried I wouldn’t find anything more affordable. I was wrong. Mike, the owner, gave me a killer rate and was cool with late check out. And I quote, «…Around noon, little later, whenever you want. It’s pretty mellow around here on Sunday. Really, no rush.» Great. Sold. Sign me up. Lord knows I hate mornings. Especially mornings that I have to pack my crap and be out by 10am. Not fun. Thank you, Mike. Room is very charming. Bed covered in thick down linens(love them!!), armoire with thick robes, thick soft towels, flat screen HDTV, great little Bose sound system; single cup coffee maker with a variety of coffees and tea choices; fridge with soft drinks and bottled water(at no extra cost)… The only down side is it sits literally on PCH, so you can hear every car go by. If you can tune out the cars, I would highly reccommend this place. There’s plenty of food and beverage joints within walking distance, and Huntington Beach just a quick drive down PCH with incredible views of the ocean the whole way. *Oh, and the beach is one block behind the hotel… You could walk barefooted the whole way if you want. :)
