If I could give them 0 stars I would! We had booked a sleigh ride several weeks ago. We left early for our sleigh ride as we thought we could walk there. Turns out you cannot walk there in the snow! We had called to tell them we were going to be late and the gal we talked with was great. Tried to help us with directions and said don’t worry we will get you out when you get here. We walked some more and then realized it would be faster to turn around, get the car and drive back to the stables. We called again to let them know of our plan and had to leave a message. We received a call from Jackie who was extremely rude to us! We tried to explain to her that we’d been in contact with them already to let them know of our plans and the continued to be rude, nasty, and show us how terrible her customer service skills are. We then called back and asked to speak with a manager and were informed she was, in fact, the owner!!! We tried again to explain the situation to her and were told that we should’ve planned better and not been calling past the time of our sleigh ride. Mind you our first call was 30 minutes a head of the departure time and had consulted a map to make sure we could in fact walk there. No one from Sunriver Stables supplied us with directions! She continued with her horrific customer service and epic rudeness. Save your money for something else, this business owner doesn’t deserve your hard earned money! She needs to take some serious classes in customer service!

So happy they were able to acomodate all of us, my little ones had a great time, 7 and 8 years old, first time ever, the horses were very gentle and the price was great too, $ 59 one hour in the beautiful sunriver grounds!

We have trailed at Sunriver a few times and it ok but can be pricey and dusty. The staff is organized and get you going. I only gave three stars since we have horses and this was pretty boring and costly. Scenery is good though

Called to book a sleigh ride that had been agreed upon less than two weeks ago if 6 people were booking — now the stable is reneging on the agreement? The dates had been discussed and relaying that either wheels or runners would be an available option. Needless to say Gabby was extremely rude and condescending to myself on the telephone and was ill-mannered to my mother when she was attempting to make the reservation prior to my involvement. This was After I Contacted the Sunriver Concierge management to assist(who were wonderful to speak with) and relayed my concerns. One would Think their customer service would have improved when the Sunriver Resort staff was asked them to assist. *John — owner saved the review and called to rectify the situation — thank you!

We signed up for the 2-hour ride to Ramsey Ridge from Sunriver. Very nice facility, as is everything else at Sunriver. Great friendly helpful guides. What they don’t tell you is that it is VERYDUSTY on the trails. Why don’t they offer guests(or at least advise them) a dust mask to wear? I would even recommend wearing ski goggles too. Yes, the dust is that bad. We were covered in dirt halfway through the ride and eyes very irritated and bloodshot. My nose went crazy and BLACK mucus was coming out. Funny, they do offer helmets.(?!) Folks — you won’t need a helmet, you will need a good dust mask and goggles.(Sunglasses aren’t enough.) You would also benefit from wearing well padded biking shorts under your jeans. I wish I would have taken just the 1 hour ride. Note: backpacks are not allowed, and no taking pictures while riding. One of the guides has a knapsack on his horse and they can carry small items for you. They will offer you a water bottle when you reach the summit.
