Really sneaky managment, really small price in advertising for fathers day,(up to 200% more than a normal day) when I complained, manager answered with a bad attitude… you would easily end up paying more than 200us /4 ppl, for a mid quality buffet, in the end better to go to texas do brasil

I expected the meat to be cooked while I waited. Instead I saw that the meat was already cooked and just being warmed on the grill. Salad bar and wine was good.

We have been going to this restaurant for over ten years and decided to go for Mother’s Day. A half hour wait then we were seated and started on the salad. After we began, the waitress informs us that since it is Mother’s Day the price is double. Instead of $ 20 a person it would be $ 40 each!!! $ 20 for our 9 year old! Nothing special added to the menu, nothing additional, just the fact that it was Mother’s Day. What a rip off! Never going there again…

What a waste of family time and money. Hadn’t been to The Knife in about three years. From the horrible attitude of the only guy working the grill to the quality of the food, so not worth it. Neither my daughter nor I liked any of the steaks they had. The chorizo and the blood sausages were undercooked. The chimichurri is now served in a small food court plastic type container. I ended up ordering fries for her, only to haver her eat them cold and stale. The caramel pancake was the size of a thumb. The place also looks dark, gloomy and dirty. I was not impressed. Should have stayed away from it, which is what we did after the report of rodents at one of their restaurants.

If they’re willing to charge you that much, they should atleast up the service, I understand it get busy but I’ve never been to a place that I have to wait for the waitress more than 15 minutes. But besides the service the food is great quality as always.

They have good cuts of meat they just come bloody and very charred with a lot of fat which is a nono in my book. Ask for well done which is how I prefer it. Sides seem to have been placed since the morning needs to improve and restocking food. Sauces look contaminated with other sauces. Server is average seems to get lost. Overall the experience was permissible I assume, because atleast once I got well done pinancha once again atleast it’s better than the bayside one but never will be close to Texas de Brasil 3 Stars cause I’m nice.

Got here early on a Friday ~6pm. I know, I know REAL Spaniards don’t eat dinner til 9 but we had a movie to get to. Anyway we were seated right away in a surprisingly empty dining hall. Our server asked us in spanish if we had been here before. I said no and she helped us through our options although she had to switch to english so my wife can understand. So we went to the salad bar, it was very uninspiring, you could just tell there were plates from yesterday there. I wound up only taking a few items as the others just looked blah. Then we made it over to the grill window… I didn’t know what to expect but they had all kinds of meats and veggies in front of you on the grill. It was hard to make out what was what and worse when the grill man didn’t understand when I asked, THEN didn’t know when I translated. I asked if one of the meats was skirt steak, he had to go ask someone else. It’s a very popular latin cut of meat it shouldn’t be that confusing for a latin place to not know. There were other issues as our server disappeared. This was also an issue as we desperately needed steak sauce to help flavor the meat as they were all well done with no seasoning. The mashed potatoes were not real. The morcilla(blood sausage) was not like any of the others I’ve had, it was too gooey… I decided to try the black beans and rice mix with the stew(?) plate in the buffet tray with a cover on a table. I’m still having nightmares about it. Burnt and dried out. But probably the worst was the dessert. I ordered the Queso & Dulce which I’ve had plenty of times before. The tragedy to this was the cheese is supposed to be a queso fresco that you are able to slice along with slicing the paste. They gave me the paste and a slice of hard provolone? It was awful and it’s too bad because when this dessert is done right(which is hard NOT to do right, I mean c’mon its just slicing the RIGHT ingredients and putting them together) is a fantastic end to a meal and people trying this for the first time are NEVER going to want ever again. By the time we were leaving, about 7:40, the place was packed and there was a long line at the grill window. That was the only«good» thing about coming early as we never had to go through standing in a line. BUT we won’t have to worry about that advice, as we will NOT be returning here and would not recommend to a friend.

Had an amazing time here my server junior was superb. Very welcoming feeling. The food was good 4⁄5. Customer service 5⁄5. Overall experience 5⁄5. I will definitely come back and recommend friends to this location.

This place is no Texas de Brazil or Fago De Chao. It’s basically a low-class meat buffet. They have a salad bar, and a grill with meats, chicken, sausages, vegetables, and some other stuff. The food quality is a bit on the low-end of the scale, but still edible. We came on a Sunday night, it was packed. Look for Groupon deals, and you’ll save a bit of money. I sort of explain the process below, but just for your information, be prepared to drink wine, and/or sangria. The food is decent, but it doesn’t blow me away. A fair amount of options, and if you aren’t a carnivore, then this isn’t the place for you. Good idea to try everything you can, and wait for the low points when the grill isn’t crowded. Our server was very nice, he was also very bad. We were seated right away, but no one came over to explain to us anything at all. Eventually our waiter came over and helped us through it all, we had a Groupon. It’s an odd system, you get wine and/or sangria, and you can get sides, but only the waiter can bring them over, and only one dessert per person. I don’t even know if I got that right; bottom line is that it is confusing. Our waters were almost never refilled, and the table was never cleaned off of dirty plates. Our waiter never came over unless we flagged him down. Having said all of that, he was extremely nice and if he was just on top of his job, the service rating would have been much higher. One more note; we had a Groupon and it was on our phone, so the waiter took our phone to enter in the information. Extremely unprofessional; as a waiter, write the number down, but never take a phone away from someone. Their is also a language barrier here, as I could barley understand our waiter or the man at the grill station. And because nothing at the grill station is labeled, it makes it all the worse. I can’t say I was happy about the atmosphere of this place. Before you can even walk through the front door you are swarmed by fruit flies. The inside on first inspection looks nice, but once you take a closer look, problems arise. The whole layout of how you get your food is odd, the salad bar collides with where servers pick up food and such, so there is a lot of traffic in a very tight area between customers and waiters. The grill area is situated on the far side of the restaurant, and there isn’t an exact line setup, which can be a bit confusing. The place can be a bit smokey inside, and flies are inside the restaurant. Parts of the salad bar look a bit unappetizing, and the plates aren’t the cleanest. I could go on, but you get the picture. I feel like a few small changes here could really upgrade this place for the better; so get on that. Food(C+), Pricing(C-), Atmosphere(D+), Service(B-)

This is another poor attitude & service venue located at Sawglsss. We had a large group arriving in a separate car but were told we had to sit at smaller table until everyone arrives(that’s after we agree to order a drink, otherwise we had to wait in a car) Waiter and waitress completely ignored as we wait for drink order. Finally a drink comes and group also arrives but the waiter won’t let us seat in large table… and restaurant was empty. We paid for the drink and walked out with the group, yet waiter never asked why we were leaving. I guess they are doing so well.

This is the most horrible restaurant ever!!! So many hidden costs. Not a true Argentinian restaurant at all! Such a disappointment especially on Christmas! Never again! They don’t even deserve a star, but I couldn’t figure out how to write the review without giving at least one. CUSTOMERSERVICEALSOSUCKS!!!

This place used to be great! The quality of the food has dropped tremendously, the quality of the meats it’s poor! Bathrooms were dirty while the place was empty(no costumers) Service was OK not great and the wine and beer were too cheap for them to charge us $ 30 per person! We are not going back!

I took my in-laws here for a birthday and it was so embarrassing, flies all over and poor service. I told the waitress that we are here for the first time if she can tell us how it works, she never mentioned that we need to order NY strip or the filet through her, we figured it out by standing on the line seeing some waitress cut the line off and get the special cuts of meat and asking her. The meat wasn’t cooked right we had to ask to have it cooked it again, in the end we ask for desserts, and one came with ant crawling on the plate. I have to apologize for the terrible birthday dinner all the way back home, I never will go back again, even if it was free.

Meh. This is like a fancy not fancy golden coral. The food was ok, not that many options to choose from and everything kinda had that«been sitting out for awhile» taste to it. The steak was good but the people don’t speak English at all so when I asked for medium rare I got beyond rare. And they only give you one piece at a time per meat. For how expensive it was I expected way better service. And at least one cook that could translate whatever they were attempting to say. I’m Spanish myself, but I wasn’t blessed to learn the language. I get the place is Argentinian but seriously? I felt uncomfortable bc I couldn’t order properly. You get a full bottle of wine which is amazing. Or two beers. My mom isn’t a drinker so to her the price didn’t seem fair since she only had Coke compared to paying for a full bottle of wine in her order which makes sense. Even a full 2 liter Coke wouldn’t price match to a full bottle of wine. But whatever. Honestly the more I think of my experience here my stars keep going down. It’s quite frustrating that our tab ran up to 150~ and there was NOTHING there that I felt should’ve made it cost that much. If I had to say one good thing I guess it would be upon the chimichurri super fresh and yummy. But the temp tire in the establishment was beyond hot. The bathrooms were hot and smelt horrible and they were like under construction or something. The desserts were ok. Super small pieces. And Supposably we were supposed to have an appetizer of soup or salad and got nothing. Wow look at that I went from 3 stars being generous to 1 star. This place is not worth it. And I’m very nice about my star givings. I’ve had better Food at the local Argentinian deli in boca raton(I wrong reviews about this place and I highly recommend) However the knife — terrible. Good was mediocre service was unpleasant and made you feel weird if you don’t speak Spanish. No thank you. Won’t be returning. I barely even took pictures of this place bc it just isn’t worth it. Oh and there’s no space here so be prepared to always be shoulder to shoulder to someone else.

All I can say is run don’t walk. Go to Chima. This restaurant really isn’t very good, and the food is terrible. We had our sales meeting dinner here and out of 20+ people half got sick. Don’t take my word. Read the reviews and go from there.

WOW! What an amazing dinner we had! I Bought the Groupon for dinner for two, there were three of us dining. We had never been to a Latin American, Argentinian buffet before and didn’t know what to expect or what to eat. My brother captured the eye of the manager, Juan, and all of our questions were laid to rest. He explained every dish as he BROUGHTTHEM to us! His passion for the food and his heritage was exemplary. We would have not eaten most of the items we had if not for him. Blood sausage? Beef tongue? Never would I ever! But, when explained and presented as he did, I now want to go back and try everything again! When he wasn’t at our table, a well versed and seasoned Stephanie was there to recommend and educate us on the local ways and preparation of the foods we were eating. From the delicious Sangria, to the tasty desserts, we were impressed. It is a family atmosphere they project, and coming form a Polish heritage, we feel we have met some new«family» members.

If Golden Corral was a steakhouse… The cuts of meat are very cheap and the waiter made it a point of not telling us that we could order one NY Strip or Filet Mignon per person, it was only until I overheard another waiter at his table was i aware of this option. The special steaks were average at best — mine had to be sent back 3 times bc it arrived completely raw each time so I had to cut the raw steak into pieces and then the guy at the grill was able to cook it. The salad bar is full of disgusting options — many items still frozen. We witnessed the guy at the grill handle vats of raw chicken with the same gloves that he would cut and serve with. Leave this location for the tourists and bus tours that stoppers for an «Argentinian steakhouse» experience. For $ 40 a person do not waste your time or intestinal health at this place. For a similar price you could enjoy an evening at Chima or Texas de Brazil where they offer a similar concept.

Terrible! I’ve eaten at some bad places and this was by far the worst. As if the roaches weren’t enough my husband witnessed a cook drop a slab of ribs on the floor and pick it up and put it on the grill. Atrocious! I wouldn’t eat here again if they paid me.

This is a buffet style steakhouse. This is the wrong way to enjoy steak. I went out dinner at 10ish. The restaurant was not empty, however, no one was standing around the buffet area. The meats were sitting on a large grill, in low heat. Someone was behind the grill to cut the meat for you. The steak was okay and it was COLD. Cold steak is… Gross. The house bottle of Malbec was not that great and we couldn’t cork it and take it home so we sat there, annoyed, drinking it. The bathroom was decent. The server was okay. Overall, it was just okay. I won’t go back. Not even at their busiest time when the steak just might be hot.

Wife and I came down here at the spur of the moment as we had just left the saw grass mall and saw this place. Prior to going in I found that they had a Groupon offer. The greeter pulled us in and and that is where we made our mistake. We had not researched this place prior to going, like we have done for other places we have dined. Food was mediocre at best. My wife had a dead bug at the bottom of her sangria. The bottom of the sangria was also filled with sugar. I special ordered a NY strip cooked medium rare and they did not render the fat leaving the fat virtually raw. Chefs were touching the tip money then handling the meat with there bare hands. This place did not have a lot of the meat options available and all pre cooked meats were cooked well done. Wife ordered a passion fruit mousse that contained several hard pieces of I don’t know what. This place was disgusting. Only positive side was that our server was nice but she did nothing with regards to the bug in my wife’s drink. I recommend individuals proceed with caution.

Prices not posted, they force the wine and dessert on you without telling you, unless you ask. Underhanded. The beef is decent because of their tactics overpriced. For this reason ask before you sit.

We recently went there for my friends birthday. Very small restaurant but has many food selections to choose from that all looked amazing. That is until we saw a cockroach lingering around the counter of where you get your steak served to you. I immediately went and sat down for the rest of the meal. The salad bar has flies all around. And to top it all off. I got food poisoning that night. Last time I eat from this place.

Probably the worst place to take your vegan friends to. Probably the best place to take your beef loving Texan friends to. This place is bad news if you are on a diet. The salad bar has many interesting options other than chopped lettuce(meat roulades, peruvian fish ceviche, and tongue mind) — it is all you can eat, but save some space for the protein. Once you are done with the salad bar, you then approach the meat station. Next time I will try to sample their NY strip which the Argentines call«bife de chorizo». They also have sausage and morcilla«blood sausage» or boudin noire. I should leave my car and walk to my hotel to burn off whatever poundage I just gained. Did I mention that all that, an order of 3 empanadas for lunch, and a bottle of wine plus tip and taxes, was under $ 45?! That’s less than sushi anywhere!

What can’t you love about this exact location? First the place is nice and always clean. From all the locations they have this is so far the most cleanest and more formal. The price is great and what they offer you get tour money’s worth. Excellent variety on the meats and salad bar is amazing. The waiter was on point and took care of us. The mal because house wine was good and dessert amazing. Honesty for $ 30.00 this was well dam worth it! I love this place and will continue to come.

I seldom leave a semi-upscale dining experience feeling angry about paying $ 30+ for a meal and feeling taken advantage of. This restaurant is advertised for their great dining experience. It fails to meet that criteria in every area except their grilled meats(for which their known). Our«waiter»(if you could call it that) spent the whole 2 hours it took for us to complete this miserable experience ignoring us and being rude/passive aggressive. The cherry on top was waiting 25 minutes to have our check closed out when they served other tables around us first. Again, do not waste your time. Stick to the Brazilian steakhouses for a similar experience. At least their service matches the quality of food they serve.

Was in the area getting fitted for a tux with my dad an step-brother at the Men’s Warehouse next door and decided to come in for lunch. Having never been here before we were eventually sat without having the restaurant’s concept explained to us. After spending a few minutes confused we were told that it was an «all you can eat» style restaurant similar to a Fogo De Chao except they don’t bring it to you, which was fine, just a little confusing. Walking to the grill the only indicator of what they have is a poster on the wall showing a bunch of different meats. Obviously the filet mignon is the most appealing item on the list, so going to order it they tell you to order from the table. What? We were just told to go to the grill. After tracking down our waitress again we’re told that you order the filet mignon from the table because everyone only gets one. Understandable, but more confusion. So we each order filets and finally get to checking stuff out. They have a salad bar but not a whole lot of options like you’d find at a Fogo. Also what I had wasn’t particularly good. Some sort of weird tuna salad wrap/roll that had jelly in it was disgusting, and only half the items have descriptions. From the grill I ordered the skirt steak, some chorizo, and some sort of spicy sausage made in house. One thing we found out from ordering the skirt steak and the filet mignon is that whatever your definition of «medium well» is, this place is going to give it to you pink, so whatever you order try to get it a little more well than normal. I opted to just have them nuke my filet well done because I didn’t trust them at that point. The filet despite being well done was still really juicy and flavorful, skirt steak I could’ve done without. Both of the sausages were actually really flavorful but the«spicy sausage», despite being tasty, was not spicy. After we had our filets brought to the table we were made aware that they also had sides as well. Fries and empanadas were our sides of choice. We opted for some fries, sweet potato fries, and some empanadas which were all average but nice to have that variety(again, would’ve been nice to have had originally). We finish off with a desert. Their gelato was pretty flavorful, but again limited to just than 1. I’d say the food, although cooked on the rare side for me as at the level of a 3.5 — 4. Service was a 1 or 2. Waitress seemed a bit clueless at times and could’ve done a way better job of describing the restaurant. A menu of SOME sort would’ve gone a long way. Additionally, their grill only had one cook at it serving meat. Despite the fact that it wasn’t that busy there was frequently a line and he was frequently distracted, chatting to other cooks and other employees despite long waits. Made for a delay, which wasn’t aided by the fact he was always very hesitant to put more than one piece of a kind of meat on your plate at any given time.

I came on a weekday evening and the place was pretty dead. The waitress walks over and immediately speaks to all of us in Spanish. Less than half of our group speaks Spanish and I’m not one of the few, so I just look around the room while she rattles on. I go to the meat bar and get excited about how many different options there appears to be. Every beef cut that I asked for, the guy at the grill would tell me «10 minutes» or «special order, ask the waitress.» I decide to hit up the salad bar while I wait for a decent steak to be ready. I load up my plate with a variety of different items. I start eating the salad bar items. Ugh, this cheese looks like it’s been sitting out for hours. That dough, spinach, and egg thing is terrible. Spit it out. Try a one-bite-only item, another spit-it-out item. Several spoons of quinoa. Try my last spit-it out item, then do a few one-to-two-bites items. I go back to the meat bar to check on the«10 minutes» steak. It’s ready and doesn’t look too bad. Too fatty, but cooked rare. I’ll take it. I sit back down and see that my friends got a few nice rare cuts that don’t look like chunks of fat. I ask them for the names of the meats and they tell me in Spanish. I go back up to the meat bar with these names and actually get meat on my plate. Really, if you’re running a business in the US, your meat-cooking/cutting guy needs to be able to understand«less fat», «rare», and«no pork» without trying to redirect customers to place a special order with the waitress. Service was pretty bad. After our glasses of wine and water sat empty for long enough, we kept having to use the button on the table to get her to come over, which is odd when there are so few tables of guests in the restaurant. She looked annoyed when she’d press the button to turn it back off. For $ 30, I would have rather gone to an Outback for a prime rib and a glass of wine. I can understand the draw of this for people that eat a lot, but I prefer quality over quantity. We get back to my friend’s house and I’m not feeling so great. I lean back in a chair to nap away the feeling in my stomach. I’m not sure if it was the bottle of wine or the salad bar of items sitting out for God-only-knows-how-long, but I puked. When I finished purging the entire contents of my stomach in the middle of my friend’s living room, I felt much better. Note: I’ve never gotten sick from wine so this was most-likely the stuff from the salad bar. I also typically drink higher quality blends, like Cabernet, so it could have been the cheap wine. Who knows. Either way, don’t do it.
