A little disappointing.
Originally got a very low quote from this agent (even after reviewing the mitigation report) so we decided to go and made the payment in full. I knew it sounded too good to be true when we signed up and asked the agent if she is sure the quote is correct and was reassured that based on the mitigation report this would be the price for the year.
A couple of weeks later the agent informed us that because the windows are not hurricane proof the quote has to go up by 80%. Shouldn’t the mitigation report show that and shouldn’t the agent review the report and provide correct quotes.
The only good thing is that the new rate is roughly the same as all the other insurance agents offered.
