Bare Minerals

I have purchased Bare Minerals shadows before and actually love them. I’m a MAC powder type of girl but after reading a bunch of reviews online I was excited to stop to get a match on some powder and try a starter kit. I don’t like heavy makeup, just some powder and liner with shadow a couple days out of the week. I’ve learned that less is more when it comes to make-​up.
This store is located in one of the largest «outlet» malls in the country. I mean it’s huge! When I walked in the girl at the counter gave me a blank stare and offered to help me. I told her that I wanted to redeem my birthday certificate and purchase a starter kit with powder but needed a match for my skin. She said how did you sign up for our rewards program if you’ve never used our products. So, this is where I realize that I no longer have the patience of JOB to deal with foolish little girls at a makeup counter but I still tried. I walked into this store to buy something and I get attitude. Darn it… this was an easy sale! She assumed that I never used their products because I don’t use 1 product in their line of cosmetics. Sigh. Next, she asked me if I wanted a dewy look or matte. I said I liked a matte look and asked if she had tried the dewy look. She, no lie, rolled her eyes at me and said, «No, I don’t wear this stuff».
Needless to say I was done. Girl, bye. I’m too old and have too many other things to be doing with my time than trying to figure out who pee’d in your Special K.
