The Tree Team

ATT needed a couple of 37 year old eucalyptus trees on our street to be trimmed because they were interfering with their signals. The Tree Team was sub contracted via East Bay Landscaping to do the work. In my opinion they could have trimmed the tree and kept it looking balanced and healthy. Instead it looks butchered and sickly. They did a horrible job and all of us who live here have to see these trees every day.

Kelly and team did a wonderful job! We had a 60+ year old Monterey Pine that was dead. I called the Tree Team and Jim called me right back, came out within the same week and gave us a competitive bid. He was also able to fit us in earlier than expected. The team that cut the tree down was prompt and did the job quickly and safely. Kelly came out the next day (late in the afternoon after already a long day of stump grinding) and finished the job. This group is honest, hard-​working and know what they are doing. They are top-​notch. I will definitely call them again if I need additional work.

We used the services of the Tree Team at least two more times the last few years and these guys remain the best: the best estimates, the best work, on time, clean up, respectful, helpful, masters. Had them back out again this morning, outstanding once again… here is a shout out to Miguel for doing a beautiful, lovely prune on our 25 year old Japanese Maple, the tree is so much prettier than before! I am so pleased — you are an artist! Thank You!

We needed to have a diseased 25 year old purple leaf plum removed. Kelly and his assistant showed up as scheduled, and took less than half an hour to remove the tree and grind the stump down a foot and a half. They laid sheets of plywood down to keep chips out of our landscape stone and ground cover. Site cleanup was perfect. I would have no hesitation recommending them for similar work anywhere.

These guys were great! I had a few estimates done on this job, including one shady guy that just walked up to my house as he saw I had a dead tree, checking Unilocal he had horrible reviews, so I found the Tree Team on Unilocal.They came in higher than the shady guy, and inline with the other estimates I got from other reputable companies, so I went with them. Since my tree was overhanging my neighbors garage, I wasn’t going to risk going with the shady guy.
They worked with my scheduling, and completed the job this morning, arriving slightly ahead of schedule to setup. They made their first cut at 8AM and my tree was gone by 8:35, it was very impressive watching the guy in the bucket handle the chainsaw with one hand and hold on to the large branch he was cutting with the other, then swing the branch to the proper landing spot as my tree overhung by neighbors garage. Once the tree was down, he swapped the chainsaw for a blower and moved the bucket all over my neighbors garage roof to blow off the small debris.
The next hour was stump grinding and general cleanup, including blowing off both my driveway and my neighbors. They left the place clean as promised and I have a nice new batch of mulch from the stump grinding.

Jim Lewis is very honest, experienced, and friendly and direct. I recommend him highly.
Jim had to give me some very bad news about my favorite tree, which has decayed and must be removed. But the prices he gave me for removal are reasonable, and I’ll be contacting him to do the job. If the area can tolerate another tree, I’ll have him do that too.
I’ve used several arborists for my other trees, but Jim Lewis of Tree Team stands out, and I’ll be using him for all of my trees from now on.

The Tree Team did a great job with three large trees on my property. The trees were professionally trimmed and shaped, the workers were right on time and did a terrific job. I am very pleased with the results and would not hesitate to recommend their services. By the way, the price was good too!
