Pillai Hari CPA

I was referred to this firm and had positive vibes to start with. Here is what i went through :
1. Distance from Frisco (where i live) was always an issue. Front desk didn’t give me confidence that i would actually get CPA’s time. They would always skew towards how busy he is and me being in a long waiting line. Didn’t give me confidence that my tax nuances will be rightly covered in such a pressure cooker context, even if i had consulted for tax returns. I wrote to the CPA and he didn’t bother to reply, it is 2 months now.
2. I dropped that, got return filed with a local CPA (very happy), though, still wanted to consult this firm for tax planning in general as I have foreign assets and wanted professional advice. Front line this time as awful. One lady confirmed Apr 24 as the appointment time, mentioned to me that CPA is fully free after Apr 15. When i called yesterday, another lady in front line was rude. She couldn’t find my appointment and mentioned they are not taking any appointments till June. She committed to calling me back and never did.
If you are looking for cheap desi consulting, to get your damn return filed, and don’t mind waiting in a long line, and treated like you are done a favor, go for this firm. If you want to be treated as a customer, need ROI in the currency of time with CPA, to strategize your tax situation, looking holistically, please stay away from this firm.
