Always Great Service, And Outstanding Food! I Usually Go At 2;00 p.m. So It’s Not Crowded. I’ve Never Had A Bad Meal, Or Poor Customer Service! Not Sure About, UFC Night’s Or Other Large Events, But Seasoned Customer’s Know To Expect Longer Wait Times, When These Things Are On!

Part restaurant, part sports bar, this is a local eatery with a lot of potential… The Customer Service: After reading several reviews and then finally seeing it for myself, it’s safe to say there is only one person working in the front area throughout the week. The host was very nice to me when I went in, so I have no complaints. The Food: I ordered eggs benedict, which came with a side of hash browns. Visually, the food was amazing. As for the taste, it was average at best. The hash browns were decent, but the eggs benedict was the worst I’ve had in many years. Everyone knows that the key ingredient in eggs benedict is the hollandaise sauce, yet this restaurant chose to serve me sauce with no real flavor at all. The Building: As many people have already mentioned, the inside of the building is outdated. I personally don’t mind the early 90s look, but it’s probably the main reason why this restaurant/sports bar is always empty. There’s a ton of TV screens to watch sports on, but the screens have been there at least ten years prior to the invention of HD televisions. Conclusion: While the eggs benedict was average at best, I will give this restaurant another chance in the future, especially since they do have some inexpensive deals Monday-Friday, and breakfast is served all-day, so that’s a plus.

It’s been 40 min since I sat to eat and enjoy a UFC fight. but here I wait after being told to «wait a bit» by the three people I seen running around none of whom actually take orders. Is it busy? Sure. Should they know what to expect when they host these parties every week? Yup. So minus a star for being rude. Minus a star for bad tasting beer. Minus a star for playing motocross when the nfl playoffs are on. And minus a star for having to bus our own tables.

First time here! Its a Friday morning. My family of 5 came here to get breakfast in. Was really surprised how family friendly this place is! The food was great especially for the price. The staff was so nice and very accommodating. Always making sure your coffee was filled. There coffee is good! If you love coffee like me, You know how bad dinner/bar coffee can be. There’s is good! There is a kid corner my girls loved. Nice that they could be entertained close by while my husband and I relaxed. The lady(wish I got her name!) Who was at the register was so sweet and cuddled with our 6 month old son while I ran back to the table to pick up our boxes. Glad we came in! We will be back!

I honestly like coming here, both me and my mom come here often to eat then anywhere else. The person whom I assume is the manager is always nice and friendly, we’ve never had a bad experience with the staff here before. The tuna melt is pretty damn good, I can’t find a melt any better for a few miles. It’s a shame that it’s empty(even as I write this only me and my mom are sitting in here) I would hate to see this place close cause it’s very nice it’s one of the few restaurants I go to. If you stumble upon my post here please give this place a try, if you hate it don’t come back if you love it come back again what’s the harm of a few dollars to try something new.

Don’t be fooled, guys, this may look like a sports bar, it may sound like a sports bar, but what it actually is is a fantastic breakfast place. Ignore the name, ignore all the projectors and the televisions. What you really need to notice is that the menu has 3 pages of breakfast options. Trust the menu. Order the breakfast all day. We got the Haystack Benedict and the Cinnamon Swirl French Toast, and both were absolutely outstanding.

We visited for the first time this past weekend. The staff was friendly, food was decent(veggie omelette and cinnamon toast). Hash browns and coffee were good. We’re looking forward to returning and watching a game. Only complaint was the cologne our female server was wearing — too strong to be serving food!

This is kind of an old timer place. The décor is a bit tired. The fellow serving us was very nice and the food was good.

One of the few places one get over easy eggs cooked over easy. Checking out a new place I try to order a meal which is made using a very simple process and from as few components as possible. At breakfast place it is almost always over easy eggs. Most time you order over easy eggs you get them over medium to over done. It seems at McHenry’s you get your eggs cooked according to your order — you order over easy, you get over easy. Sweet! Also I want to notice a high service quality and speed. I like this place and will come here again and again.

Went here on a whim and was extremely underwhelmed. Food was extremely bland. Service was very unattentive and rude. We had the club sandwich and chicken sandwich. Both were in need of seasoning. Regular french fries were kind of mushy. They were not crispy and weren’t salted. I had sweet potato fries which were also not crispy and weren’t even sweet. In fact I couldn’t tell the difference between the taste of the sweet potato vs the regular fries! On to service… The place was empty but the waiters were nowhere to be found. When the guy took our order I asked for sweet potato fries and he said«why don’t you get the onion rings like in the picture?» I told him because I just said I wanted sweet potato fries. In retrospect perhaps I should have done as I was told since the sweet potato fries sucked! The waiter was pretty short with us and had no warmth or customer service skills at all. All in all wasn’t happy with the service or food!

Food was very substandard, had a shrimp tail in my French fries. Service was very poor as well. Will not be coming back to this place nor will I recommend. The place was empty so no excuse for the bad food and bad service. I had the McHenrys Chicken club, no flavor, fries were flavorless. Server needs to be friendly and more attentive.

Service: horrible and completely rude. Some Mexican guy spoke to us as if we were his friends or something. Never asked us how we were doing or if we needed anything. I never got a refill. Food: if you like microwaved eggs this is the place for you! The food is overly greasy and tasty enough for you to not complain and have it send back. My pot roast sandwich was great but I would have passed if I knew it was a ball of grease. Left me with a tummy ache. Their fries are delicious and crispy, wouldn’t come just for fries though. We played pool after our meal and it was awkward being stared down by the staff. Wouldn’t come back. Get people who like their job and treat customers like customers, not someone you’re trying to talk to on the street.

1 star for the facilities and restaurant, I felt like i walked back into 1983, random décor, mixed tv monitors, etc. 3 stars for the service, not great, but we didnt’ have to hunt down the waiter for a cup of coffee. 2.5 stars for the food, one of the few places that know what an omelet is suppose to look like, decent portion size, ok coffee.

sausage. i went in for an early 6AM breakfast following an insomniatic evening. nothing particularly special about the waffles, but the eggs & sausage were created with some kind of secret special sauce. The fact that a TV was plugged into every surface sealed the deal for future early sausaging.

Surprisingly decent. Lots of random history kitsch on the walls(they should have taken off the American Presidents if they were going for a sports bar/restaurant look). Also, random sports kitsch… lots of pictures of Joe Montana.. There have been 49ers since then. Went on a Friday night with a bunch of kids. Place pretty empty to start, and at 8:30p.m., we were the only ones left. I wouldn’t go there again, but the place made«decent» food and pretty much quenched my hunger. Kind of like a Denny’s or a Carrow’s.

Terrible, terrible, terrible service. I’ve been here twice with my husband and got the same rude jerk of a waiter. The first time we came in for a dinner, we ordered breakfast and he seemed pissed he had to help us. Made no eye contact, didn’t ask us anything just put his pen to the pad. He never came by to check on us, we had to flag him down for ketchup, and he never bothered asking us if we wanted something else to drink besides water. We couldn’t find him half the time so we ended up drinking water. everytime I asked for something he would just stare at me, leave and come back with whatever it was. I was so pissed off that he was treating us this way. WTF?! I’m sorry are we bothering you? Second time we came in was to watch the ufc fight, and i didnt even want to come because of that jerk off from last time but i decided to give it another chance. this time we sat at the bar and I was looking forward to having a good time. This a$!hole comes up to us, and asks what we want, we start off with sliders and I ask for a blue moon. He stares me down again like I’m some kind of idiot for speaking, does not respond in words and throws his hand up by my face asking for my ID. HOWRUDECANYOUPOSSIBLYBE?! I was so livid, I said«what the hell is this?!» repeating the motion he did with his hands. After giving him my ID he puts it up to his face and points to it. Still refusing to speak to me. I felt so disrespected, my blood is boiling as I write this. That is no way to treat someone and I don’t know what the hell his problem is but thanks to him I had a horrible rest of the night!!! My husband’s cousin was there before us and he said he was getting«Ok» service from him. WHATTHEHELLWASWRONGWITHUSTHEN?! I would not recommend you coming to eat here or even stopping by for a drink. Clearly they don’t care for their customers if they have employees like this d-ck treating people like crap, the DMV treats you like a queen compared to this sh$thole! I would give negative stars if I could. Do yourself a favor and walk away. FAST

This is the kind of place you see on the TV show Restaurant Impossible but things seem to be working here. The food was ok and fairly priced. There’s a lot on the menu though. The décor is amazingly random. There’s a bar area with a pool table. There’s a family dining area. There’s a wall of Presidential memorabilia, giant crayons over a door way, and massive projection screens with sports channels. The staff is friendly and everything seemed clean. It’s a good solid, place.

$ 3.99 weekday breakfast Surprise surprise; now that Bobby’s in Cupertino has not reopened I’ve searched high-&-low for a replacement breakfast joint to replace them. Well, here it is folks — a very good, hot & good service — interestingly low priced option. For $ 3.99 you get your choice of three breakfast items. I had two eggs, two strips of bacon and an English muffin. All were perfectly cooked, the service is excellent, lot of parking and good location for easy ingress and egress. If you are lucky enough to be there when the 89 year old gentleman at the table next to me is there you will enjoy a good conversation and learn some Valley history as well as a lecture on the HP Way. All of 5′ 4″ and 105 lbs soaking wet the guy is sharp as a tack, still drives, reads, attends movies(Lincoln his current favorite), and gets Down on the floor with his grand children to teach them how to play marbles. What is his secret to longevity? My Guess is he led a low stress life from what I could gather and enjoys having breakfast out at McHenry’s.

I’ve now visited this establishment twice. Both times for breakfast. I am tempted to come in to watch a football game in their bar area. The place is truly a «bar and restaurant», with a diner-esque area on one side, and a bar on the other. The diner side has big screen TVs, a children’s play area and a foosball table. The bar has a pool table, more TVs, darts and some extra seating. They’ve got a big banner outside, touting a $ 3 breakfast special. This is good on weekdays, the identical weekend special is $ 4. A great deal either way. Eggs, 2 pancakes and a choice of breakfast meat. I recommend the sausage links(plump goodness). The coffee is below average, so if that is a big deal for you, don’t order it. They’ve got other choices on their menu, including kid-friendly options. Proximity also place a role for me, McHenry’s is within walking distance. Will be back.

A family-run restaurant that has completely revamped their menu and food items. I have been going here over the years and have become more impressed by the improvements they have made to make this a quality, exemplary restaurant. I came into enjoy their breakfast and opted for the veggie benedict with a side a of fresh fruit. The service was great, good was great, and my tummy felt very satisfied! I cannot wait to bring more people to experience McHenry’s. Also since it is the World Series stop in and enjoy their full-serviced bar and delicious grub!
