Heritage Indian Market

My wife and I are frequent visitors of larger and busier Indian stores in the area and we stumbled upon this little place more by chance. What a wonderful find it was! The store is neat, the owners are personable and helpful and the stock and produce are maintained with the highest quality and standards (regrettably, the opposite is true in many Indian stores).
I had a chat with the owner and it is very humbling to note that he wants word of the store to be spread through word-​of-​mouth rather than any in-​the-​face and obtrusive marketing. Just today, at the cashiers desk, he recommended that I exchange a couple of rather dark bananas (that I was actually OK with) with something fresher. This is integrity and ethics of the highest standards.
I will henceforth make this place my primary shopping location and only go to other stores if absolutely necessary. As members of the community, it is our duty to reward wonderful people like this with our business. All I ask from the community in general is to help maintain the same high standards of cleanliness.

First Indian Grocery Store in Bay Area — Very Clean and Well Organized — Must Visit.

I’m an old white american guy, for what it’s worth, and I love this place. They have a lot of Indian staple foods, but also many things I love to eat. Organic, grass-​fed dairy and eggs. Fresh vegetables. Kerrygold grassfed butter, for crying out loud. No meat, though, as far as I can tell.

I’m from NJ, specifically Jersey City. Here in Bay Area as a visitor.
I walked into the store expecting the usuals — messy aisles, maze style hunt for goods and probably loud local market environment.
But rather this place is super well maintained, clean and perfectly sized to find things easily. Everything was well organized and price marked out to make it quick for the buyer. Welcoming staff and owner.
It’s a no brainer, clean, quality seems to be their offering.

I work for the family that runs this market and they and their staff are dedicated to creating the absolute best shopping experience for everyone who walks in their door. If there is any way they can make your personal experience more enjoyable please let them know. Customer feedback is extremely important to them, especially in identifying new products or additional services that other shoppers will enjoy.

My new favorite Indian grocery. A medium-​small place, but they have a very good selection of food (and some random other items) for their size. Super well-​organized, very clean, fresh, and neat. The only thing they don’t have is a meat counter.
The prices are average I would say for an Indian grocer, not cheap. You could save a few dollars elsewhere, but for the convenience (open 9 AM to 10 PM every day), sanitary conditions (especially the produce), and friendly service, I am more than willing to skip the Safeway bargain bins and shop at Heritage for most of my grocery needs.

Excellent shop for Indian groceries. well maintained, clean and air conditioned… always welcoming staff. They have Indian classics ranging from Parle G biscuits to homely dosa batter mixes and freshly cut veggies and Jasmine flowers… would love to go there for a great shoppingxperience.

Low prices, great quality and variety and a clean organized store. Offers fresh vegetables And carries all festive and seasonal items. Staff is ready to help. Ample of parking space. All in all makes shopping easy and convenient.

Only clean Indian store in town and
found them to be cheaper than other established stores around. Check them out,

This is one of the best store I have ever seen in Sunnyvale… they organised things very well in the store… and the products were fresh and quality while compared to the other Indian stores… I like the guys who work there because their way of receiving the customers is so nice and professional… I recommend this is the best Indian store in sunnyvale

Will definitely recommend the store.

This is supposedly a new store but you can see many of the products are already old. Some items on the shelves were months past their expiration date! The staff is not all that friendly and I guess that might be par for the course for an Indian store. Anyway, I don’t think I will be going to this place anytime soon.

Great place to get all of your indian groceries. you literally get everything.
