The place was nice, and inexpensive. Somehow we landed in here on Asian night. Literally, there were 65454645 tourist with 646557565 suitcases, and a line of 7656535455 lining up for the elevators. That didn’t bother me. However, the one towel with some yellow on it did catch my attention. I would suggest using bleach or throwing super worn towels away. There was also a soap bar open with the wrapper in the tub when I got into my room. Odd. Other than those weird encounters, the place was very nice with big comfortable beds, starbucks brew, and tazo tea. I would stay here again, and hopefully not run into a bathroom that appears to have been used prior to my arrival.

I ended up at the Sheraton for 10 days recently. I chose this hotel since I had my dog with me and they were OK with it. The room was large and clean, the bed was incredibly comfy and the new flat screen tv was great… when it worked. The first 2 days the TV didn’t work since it had just been installed and wasn’t programmed properly. The internet was also intermittent for the first 4 days. Room service was extortionate. I actually spent close to $ 40 including tip for a salad, fries and a piece of cake but was seriously starving since finding a restaurant when you have a dog in tow 24×7 isn’t easy. The lobby is not terribly exciting especially in comparison to the beautiful Sheraton Palo Alto. Update: Since my first review I have stayed at this hotel two more times… in the same room every time. The TV has worked during the last two visits. The front desk staff was very accomodating at each of my subsequent visits.

The only saving grace for this motel is its location. Located off 101 and Lawrence Expressway — this motel is close to many silicon valley companies. Doesn’t really desrve the Four Points and definitely not the Shearton moniker. Its more like a low end Motel6 but unlike a Motel6 you’ll pay Four Point/Shearaton prices(think the average price of a 3 star hotel or more). Rooms while recently rennovated and painted — still feels outdated. Also you can here most of the noise from the neighboring rooms and the parking lot outside.
