Craig Batanides Drum Lessons

I started taking lessons with Craig a few months ago and I am already seeing results. He is very patient and adjusts very well to the learning needs of his students. I look forward to my weekly lessons and he makes drumming as cool as I ever thought it would be. Give the drummer some!

I have been taking drum lessons from Craig for some 8 months now and I have to tell you he is just amazing. The way he pays attention to each and every note or measure you play amazes me. You might think he is not paying attention, but the moment you play something wrong he catches it and corrects you. Don’t let his age fool you. He has an abundance of experience.
An impressive quality that Craig possesses is patience. He has been really patient with me, even when I make the same mistake multiple times. He is really passionate about drums and you get to see that passion simply ooze out when you see him play with his band «Aftershock». If you get a chance do catch them in action.
I would highly recommend him for all age ranges.

So far so good, My 10 year old has been learning here from Craig for 4 months now. He’s picked up the first parts of «Elementary Drum Method» and «Funky Primer». We meet weekly at the studio in Mountain View just off the freeway/​Old Middlefield Rd. Craig has been encouraging and patient with beginners like my son.
Also, one suggestion for kids is start with a drum pad the first 3 months transition to a drum set (new or used). We just made this switch and it makes a big difference.

My sons have been working with Craig for a while now and are really liking it. Craig is experienced and skilled, while at the same time patient with young students! He is also very flexible when it comes to scheduling and willing to work with you. Highly recommend!

Craig is a very very good teacher! He is the best teacher in the area! He is teaching my daughter, 13 yr old, and she enjoys his lessons very much. Craig is experienced and very nice and flexible. If you want to learn to play drum set, or snare drum, Craig is the teacher you are looking for!

Craig taught my 6 yr old drums and is a great instructor. Very patient and made it fun for him. Would play a music video of his favorite song and they would both practice to the set. He’s a professional drummer who has been in bands so has tons experience. His classroom is located in the bldg across from Macy’s Dept Store. He is flexible with his hrs and met us on Saturday mornings. I know he teaches adults also. Highly recommend
