Their Flash app is one of the worst pieces of crap I’ve ever had the displeasure of using. I saved snapshots of the work after just about every painful editing step and later found it considered every single one of them corrupted. What an absolute piece of garbage. It is difficult to find the words to describe just how bad it is.
EDIT: Tentatively bumping to 2-​stars since their customer service responded quickly.
EDIT #2: Based on the service I received from «Lee Lee» I have bumped one more star. I still feel like the software is subpar in dozens of ways, but s/​he assured me that a big update is coming down the pipe, so here’s to hoping it improves substantially.

I used Better Yearbook Publishing for the past two years with my school of approximately 250 students and was very pleased with the results. BYP offers online based software that is intuitive and simple, along with product quality that simply cannot be matched by other yearbook vendors in the area. Although the software is slightly limited, it is easy and fun to use and makes the oftentimes laborious process of assembling a yearbook less daunting. Also, they have excellent customer service and are available to accommodate during a crisis situation like we had to experience this past year. I am very thankful for Better Yearbook and would recommend them to anyone.
