F*cking amazeballs. Love this place– food, ambiance, service. Waitress gave us a free glass of sangria we ordered water only cuz we needed to hydrate not being cheap but I’m like yes please when she offered sangria. Lol

After having moved to the west coast and tried a bunch of peruvian restaurants(with many disappointments despite their high Unilocal scores), all I can say is I find myself really longing for Riko’s chicken and its seafood dishes at amazing prices. I didn’t know what I lost until I moved. Upgrading to 5 stars!

The chicken here was amazing, as was the white & green sauce! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful! We had a great experience, I’ll definitely return!

Always amazing food here. They always serve complimentary wine, although I assume it is to cover for their subpar service. Anyways always come here for good food none the less.

Absolutely just love this place! Their rotisserie chicken is so tender and juicy, always melts in your mouth, especially when you have their homemade green and white sauce with it! Heaven! But for me, it’s not just about the fall off the bone chicken; but their fried calamari that I always come back for more! Crispy fried goodness topped with pickled lemon red onions just thinking about it makes me drool. I absolutely adore this place and their super friendly staff, definitely check this place out!

I have only ordered delivery from this place but I am obsessed. Their rotisserie chicken meals are so delicious and affordable. The half chicken with two sides meal is only $ 8.50, I mean you can’t get these prices anywhere else in the area. The chicken is also super flavorful and I normally get the salad and fries as my two sides. You can also get rice and beans. The meal comes with a green sauce that is super delicious and a little spicy. But for me, I always ask for the white sauce. I don’t know what is in it but it is so amazing paired with the chicken. The chicken can be a little dry sometimes, but the sauce counters that perfectly. The delivery is super fast and they deliver to me(I live in Long Island City) as long as the order is above $ 7. I mean you can’t get a better deal than this. I want to try other items on their menu but I just can’t justify getting anything else since the chicken meal is so delicious and cheap. Definitely recommend it!

Had the ½ chicken plate $ 8.50. Tried the funky purple drink. Tastes like purple candy but fun. 31 $ bill for 3 hungry Manual Labor guys, + free wine for checking in /posting photo. Server spoke no English, not even restaurant English, but I survived despite not knowing how much the purple scented candle drink was going to cost(2.50) & getting ketchup and mustard bottles when I asked for hot sauce. Overall I hope to eat here again, just«holdy the Mustard»

Love this place, green sauce is my fave! Chicken is always tasty and juicy; the fried calamari is great choice as well as the the lomo saltado and jalea dishes.

Only has take out this far. Great service, the owner/manager was actively engaging with the consumers and you get a free glass of wine. We ordered ceviche, which was tasty ‚. A whole chicken — it was good but then the breasts were a bit dry. I would try this one more time by sitting down but it’s OK so far.

Highly disappointed in this place. This was my first outing for the year abd first and last time coming here! boy was it a bad experience! My husband and I ordered soup for appetizer Arroz chaufa, bandeja pobre and ¼ of chicken for entre. Waited 40 mins for a soup That’s pre-made and an additional 30 mins for the entre. When the entre arrives, the chicken was cold, the fries were not cooked thoroughly and the white rice was cold. I asked the chicken to be changed and in return I received a chicken that’s colder than the previous one. The place is very tiny and I left smelling like oil and chicken. Very disappointed, I was Definitely fooled by the reviews. not once did the waitress updated or apologize for the delay of the food. In addition they gave a complimentary glass of cheap wine. Not worth it.

I’ve been to many Peruvian places, and this one is not my fav place . We ordered bisteck a la pobre, it was the driest piece of meat and over cooked, like chewing on cardboard . The tamales were also very hard, over cooked as well. The egg eve. was was over cooked too is supp to be Sunnyside up. I’m not that picky but this was the worst. We spoke to manager to address the issue, she responded we ate half our dish already. My intention was not going to wait another 20 min for a meal, I just wanted to let her know the experience. She really was snotty, and didn’t speak English. Actually no one speaks English and very hard to communicate. Don’t bother. You are better off going elsewhere

5 stars all for the chicken this time. Since I tried only the rotisserie chicken from here for the first visit. I had a lot of rotisserie chicken from other places and I never liked them until I try this place. They made the chicken really well. The meat is soft but not that soft like taste smash tuna. I can taste the tender and juiciness from the meat. The flavor is so well marinated that I couldn’t believe that is just a rotisserie chicken. In order to confirm the chicken taste better than others’ Just in case it wasn’t because I was too hungry to feel so I had to order another chicken from another famous place the following day to compare. And the results are obvious. They are a lot better! The price is even cheaper! I will go back soon coz that chicken can make me miss the place.

Roast chicken was tasty and moist. Jalea was ok. But all the food and sauces were very salty. I was thirsty for hours afterwards. Drank half a gallon of water after my meal. I probably would not return here. Food was so salty, it turned me off.

I live in the neighborhood and come here often with my friends. The food is great and super cheap! A whole cooked chicken for just $ 10… or ¼ chicken with 2 sides for $ 5 Super awesome! Now one thing that bothers me is that a few times I’ve tried calling for delivery and was put on hold for at least 5 min before they hung up on me. Leaving me no choice but to leave my apt and walk over to take to go or just forget about my order completely. It seems most of their staff doesn’t speak English… reason for hanging up on me to avoid trying to take my order. This place is really great BUTPLEASE lets get some staff who speak English. I guarantee you’ll have more business!

The arroz chaufa de pollo(chicken fried rice) and the rotisserie chicken were wonderful. If you like soups, they have a quinoa soup that’s good. My wife had the soup. We visited this place in the early afternoon on a Sunday, because we had to catch a play at Thalia Theater nearby. Our eating experience was delightful. Attentive service.

Update to my experience at Riko. The business owner took the time to handle the situation that unfolded between two employees and gave me a sincere apology.

Great food, not so great staff. Their plates are perfect servings, very plentiful. Good selection of drinks and desserts. But the staff has on several occasions been far too slow in coming to ask is all is okay. I understand they can’t control his fast the kitchen produces the food, but they can at least follow up to see if we need any drinks.

My friend and I stopped by for dinner Friday night, and were lucky to snag a table for two without a wait. We shared orders of the avocado salad and half chicken with a side of rice and beans, and everything was tasty! We washed it all down with Cusquenas, but could have gotten free glasses of wine with Unilocal check-ins. Next time!

Came here for dinner on a Tuesday. It’s a small restaurant, and you can see the food being cooked from the open kitchen. The staff doesn’t seem to speak English very well, but they did get our order correct, and they did bring whatever we asked for very quickly. Every time I get Peruvian food, I get the Peruvian rotisserie chicken to compare it to other Peruvian places I’ve been. Their chicken was pretty good, but not the best I’ve ever had. Their aji sauce was just OK. It is pretty cheap though, and the service is good.

I have a mixed feeling about this place. Their rotisserie chicken is great… anything else Is very ehh… Nothing to get excited over… The food is way to salty… My rice was kind of hard and had a very weird taste… Other than that It was a very nice place I wouldn’t go there for a first date… But it’s great for a night out by yourself haha… The wait staff are not as professional as they should be

kinda tight, feels like your on display while eating to the outside but, who cares!!! Food is awesome. Had the half chicken with rice and beans, and a side of the Maduros Fritos,(fried sweet plantains) I normally don’t eat the skin from chicken but this was too tasty not too. Portion was great, I’m a big guy and didn’t finish the rice. the plantains were great too. Can’t wait to go there again. Very tasty meal for a bargain price. Going there for lunch again soon.

Could be 5 stars if the waitresses didn’t have so much attitude and only answer the phone in spanish. Go to the express location on queens Blvd. much less attitude.

Having the Sudado de Pescado, stewed fish with potato and rice. Scrumptious! The rotisserie chicken is awesome and I hate that word but it is. They have an 8th ave location between 30th an 31st streets in Manhattan. They offer a fee glass of wine when you dine in and they actually offered me one today and I ordered take out!(l don’t indulge)

I’ve been here quite a few times and each time I get the same thing, Jalea and avocado salad! The seafood is always perfectly fried and flavorful and the sauces make it that much better. It’s perfect for sharing with 2 – 3 people without ordering much else. Also the service is worth noting. Everyone is really nice I have never had any sort of problem at all. Oh and the music is always bumpin. Most of the times I’ve eaten here on Saturdays and the food is always perfect. This time I went on a Thursday night and there were some inconsistencies. First the salad– the avocado wasn’t ripe! The whole point of the salad is the avocado! Unfortunately the Jalea was missing a few things too. The usual dressing/veggies on top was missing corn, ok no problem. However where were the nice chunks of fish? Where is the yucca? And what was that weird, dark, spongy stuff that got fried with the squid? Speaking of squid… What happened to the arms/legs/tentacles(whatever you wanna call em)?! That’s the best part! Other items: Chicken– imo it’s dry and nothing you can’t get somewhere else Salchipapas– if you really want good salchipapas go to 98th and Roosevelt Chicha Morada– yum yum Tamal– huge and delicious Chupe de Mariscos– BOMB! 4⁄5 stars because of the lack of crunchy squid leggies. So sad. Maybe they had an off night? Low inventory? I can’t say, but I still love this place.

Costumer service very good. Food was ok. Ceviche mixto was good but Jalea wasn’t what we expected. Chicken was ok. $ 50 sangria pitcher too expensive. Usually cost $ 30-$ 40 max.

Not bad I had the appetizer sampler which was pretty forgettable. It comes with a bit of everything off the apps menu. So I’d skip the apps completely. To be honest. The chicken combos are a steal at $ 5 for ¼ chicken with rice and beans or fries. The chicken is juicy with a great crunchy skin. The seasoning is delicious. The white and green sauce are amazing. Dump them on everything Tres Leche cake was pretty decent too for $ 4.
