Pretty Woman Hair Salon

The best hair place in Sunnyside. The only place I have ever had my hair dyed where I always know with 100% confidence I will be able to do anything I want afterward without any residual dye or little spots on my skin or anything. She has a beautiful place, she is a beautiful person and she does a beautiful job. Reasonable prices and lovely, kind service. My hair home away from home. :)

Thanks to all these reviews, I decided to give this place a try. I’m lucky once again to find another great salon but this time, I’m extra lucky because I just moved to the area and this place is super close to my house. I was originally just looking for an inexpensive hair salon to get my haircut, so I came across this place and searched for reviews on Unilocal (which helped btw) I did feel a little weird walking in because normally, when you walk in a hair salon, it’s not quiet and the stylists automatically have a huge smile on their face (I guess it’s a city thing? or popular hair salons but whatever, I just wanted my hair done). So, I walk in and wait for connie to finish with her customer and when she was done, she greeted me and I asked if she could cut my hair. I showed her how short I had my hair and told her I wanted it like that again but maybe a little shorter. Short enough for it to still look nice when I don’t blow it out.(My hair is naturally wavy and frizzy) And she did! She gave me a super cute cut. I’m not sure if I should call it a bob but I don’t care, I was immediately in love with this place so I came back three days later to do my roots. When I came back, we got started on my roots and she fixed some of the yellow patches I had on my hair and when we were done, I was surprised that my hair didn’t feel damaged and my scalp didn’t feel scabby like it normally does when I go to other places. I’m going back Friday for my birthday and work on getting rid of the rest of the yellow in my hair.
Anyway, I honestly do like this place a lot and I’ve recommended it to my roommates already. I hope this business stays great and become very successful!

New owners took over and everyone is so nice! I get the best blo outs here and the price is great! I’ve tried almost all the salons in sunnyside and found pretty woman to be the best. Connie is extremely sweet and really takes pride in her work. I haven’t done my color here but have seen her work and every girl looks gorgeous. Especially the blondes like me whose color is so hard to manage she keeps the hair healthy. I love this place and so happy they are here. Top of the line products and service!!!

This is a hidden gem in Sunnyside. This location went through a management change and it’s much improved! The ladies may be quiet, but if you want a reliable place with good prices and great quality, this is it! Not fancy, but clean and always on point. Rosa does a great mani pedi, really takes her time. Costansa is one of the owners and delivers great haircuts and blow outs. They also negotiate if you’re getting several services done. Give them a try!
