I did the perm today. That’s awesome service and moderate price.

I’ve been here 3 times for haircuts. Mary is a wonderful stylist and does a great job. I am always extremely satisfied with the results. She even curled my hair after a cut and my hair looked awesome. Last Saturday I went for a cut but got it done by the guy since Mary wasn’t there and I was desperate for a cut. He totally butchered my hair so I went back to get it fixed. After blow drying it again myself I realized it was still uneven. So I went back once again and he had the nerve to say that its even but when I turn my head it seams uneven. That doesn’t even make sense! Then he started getting loud in Korean. I I had Mary even it out for me as best she could. Then the owner told me it was lack of communication. Nope sorry bottom line is he just doesn’t know how to cut hair Not sure if I will go back again. Mary is great but after this horrible experience I don’t think I will.

I agree about the inconsistency. I had two Japanese Straightening. The first one was great. The second time they burned my hair. I gave it another chance by getting a hair cut and it didn’t turn good at all. I had to go to another salon to get it fix. It is cheap but not worth it.

Went in here for a quick blow dry with volume. My friend and I didnt have an appointment but they were nice enough to take us in right away. Wash was nice, they actually used hot water, thats a rarity. The owner sat me down and started working on my hair. I clearly described how I wanted my hair to look. He gave me this really warm smile with a thumbs up, I immediately thought i’m in good hands, sit back and relax… He started blowing it out pin straight and then he whipped out a flat iron and started curling my hair. 10 minutes later. I look in the mirror and cheesy country music star came to mind. I told him to please tone it down a little cause its too much but he just walked away and started working on somebody else! Helll Nooo I took it up with the other girl working there and thats when she told me HEDOESNTSPEAKENGLISH. Right. Why the hell is he working in a salon? How the hell is he supposed to cut hair if he doesnt speak any english?! Never again.

I needed a cheap haircut and had to settle for this place. In the end it turned out great. From the other reviews I was hoping not to get the owner and I didn’t. The woman who cut my hair was quick and did not take a lot off. No one was there when I arrived but by the time I left a regular had come to get a haircut. Hopefully they will stay consistent.

I’ve only been here 4 times, and it is my new local salon. The main reason I found Ceci was because I was desperately searching for a salon on New Years Eve that would take me without an appointment. Lucky for me, they were open and took me with very little wait. My favorite stylist is named Mary too, and she is super nice and does things exactly as I like. The male stylist blew out and cut my hair this past saturday and it looks great. I will have to agree with inconsistency as my fellow Unilocaler Jill stated — they messed up my styling once, but the next day it looked great. One of my favorite things about this place is that it’s open late(my other salons don’t stay open past 6, they’re open til 8 everyday but Sunday, when they’re open til 7), they have manis and pedis, and they take me almost any time I go.

The biggest problem with Ceci is inconsistency. Two years ago, I got the cutest cut, but a year ago, I got butchered! It took months and three visits to other salons to get my hair looking normal again. The stylist who ruined my hair is still there. He had been so meticulous before, but the last time, he did to me exactly what the first reviewer described happened to her – a dry cut, just hacking away. I was so shocked that this guy who had given me an adorable cut before would massacre my hair like that. I will never go back. But buyer beware – a $ 20 haircut is rarely worth it. Pay more, get better stylists.

I went to get a hair trim today and I left so angry and wanting to cry. The«won chang nim» aka owner cut my hair but he cut it like a home cut. I could’ve had my mom cut it, I am never going back there again! Details: no wash, just spritzed water on the bottom ends. Using his eyes, he literally cut my hair as it fell on my back. I’m not a hair stylist, but its typical to section hair, cut using one hand as a semi ruler and the other to hold scissor. He didnt even do that test where they grab the right and left strands of the front hair to see that each side is equal length!!! It was cheap — — $ 20 but I will NEVER come here again.
