The Greystone Stage

This is an excellent green screen studio. It’s compact but efficiently laid out to maximize space and is ideal for smaller productions. It is pre-​lit, has high ceilings, well air conditioned, fully equipped with top-​quality gear, has a makeup room and kitchenette and is always clean and organized throughout. It’s also very reasonably priced. I’ve shot several commercials here with great results.

I have done several projects at Greystone and every experience has been above par.
Chris is always professional, responsive and easy to work with.
He has the most reasonable rates of any studio I know in LA. His studio is meticulous, well designed and maintained.
Whenever I have have had a problem with my gear he dives right in to help. He has saved my day more than a few times.
His green screen is flawless. It’s so smooth, even and well-​lit it makes the editor in me very happy.
The only thing I wish it had was tanning bulbs in place of the leds lamps so I could work on my tan while shooting all day.
I would love to recommend his studio, but then again I don’t want everyone to know how great it is and risk it being booked when I need it next…

This studio is a diamond in the rough of Sun Valley.
Chris, the owner, reminds me of Hungarian screenwriter extraordinare, Joe Esterzhas. He is patient, gentle, quiet, and a complete sweetheart to work with.
He spends endless hours cleaning his studio and improving the technical equipment for his clients. He just bought 3 LED lights with built-​in fans that won’t overheat the actors. He works with all kinds of high quality cameras, from the Tokina wide-​angle lens to Canon.
I’ve been to the studio twice in the span of two months and Chris has already added an extra air conditioner, gotten rid of his Sony slow-​motion camera, and is planning on upgrading to a 4K.
Everyone from little children to working professionals to commercial production crews rent out this studio space because its cozy, neat, and records in high quality.

Speaking very honestly this is the best green screen facility I’ve had the pleasure of using. The proof is in the footage I captured. Literally the best green screen stuff I’ve ever shot!
Everything is pre lit with high quality equipment and there’s even a track if you need it. Chris allowed me to use his large HD monitor and even helped me perfectly color balance the settings in my camera before I started shooting.
He was genuinely concerned with the success of my shoot. I was having some problems with my memory card and he quickly volunteered one of his as a replacement. Can’t say enough about Chris… He’s a very classy guy.
And the best part of all was the value. Greystone Stage is the most affordable green screen studio in the region. Hands down. It’s a little further off the beaten path but WELL WORTH the extra distance in terms of cost and amenities.
