i switched from a mechanic in La Crescenta to this mechanic who was just a couple of blocks away. My neighbor who has a 23 year old car referred me and I am glad I switched. He discovered my last mechanic had screwed up the installation of a new power steering pump and then refused to tell Sunland Transmissions where he obtained it.
So far he had done three repairs on my car and all have been well done. He replaced the alternator, replaced a constantly beeping door open light and did a general tune up. The only down side is that he doesn’t do tires and you really need to call ahead because he is busy. Conveniently located right between Sunland and Tujunga.

They install rebuilt substandard torque converters that only last 300 miles (at least in my case) leaving you stranded needing a tow.

Another great mechanic in Sunland Tujunga — Jeff takes care of my old BMWs when my main mechanic doesn’t have the time or equipment. Jeff has been thorough and patient running down complex issues in my cars and has provided thorough explanations before performing any work. His pricing is fair and honest and his knowledge is excellent in German cars.
