Small Steps Home Daycare

Wow am I lucky to have found Small Steps. I never worry about my baby when she is with Susan.
Reasons why I love Small Steps:
–It is CLEAN. Like crazy clean.
–Susan is a great person. She is kind and funny and models the kind and respectful behavior that she expects.
–It is safe. My toddler is always playing with developmentally appropriate toys. (How do I know? I’m a teacher.)
–She sends me pictures of my kid doing cool stuff. eg. Painting, Yoga, playing in the awesome sensory bins.
She taught my baby sign-​language.
–She cooks meals and snacks. Including baking. Yes, sometimes I get a fresh muffin too.
–She is reasonably priced.
–She gives me plenty of notice and reminders about changes in the schedule or pajama day.
She communicates with me every day about what my kiddo did.
And mostly, I have peace of mind all day when I am at work that my kid is happy and loved.

DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS TO THIS LADY!!! She came into our business with the kids she watches and she was incredibly rude to the entire staff after they rejected her false claim to a 50% discount and free merchandise. Then, because of her irritation with the staff, she was very harsh with the children, grabbing them by the hand and jerking them around and yelling. Everyone is entitled to a bad day, but this girl was on the job and acting very immature and unprofessional and took her anger out on the children whilst setting a poor example for them at the same time. I would never suggest sending your child to her.
