Publix

This Publix has top-​notch customer service. The cashiers are always really friendly. My kids love getting free cookies in the bakery and I love when they’re cooking up yummy meals to sample as you walk in the door.
I also love the buy one get one free deals they have here weekly and the pre-​sliced fruit in the produce section.
Tip: park on the side of the building closest to Midland Pkwy– much easier to get in and out that way!

Shopping is always a pleasure, but not after I eat their subs. Now, i have been raving for years about their subs. I love them, or loved. Recently, my husband and I have gone there and ended up in the bathroom all night and the next day. Last night my family all had subs (i was hoping it was only 2 times we’ve had this issue) it wasnt. Worst diarrhea ever. Like ever. I’m not ashamed, however, it is very alarming. Publix, why are your subs making us all have terrible diarrhea? I’m talking gut wrenching.

I am from Rochester, NY and few things can compete with Wegmans, and by few I mean I have not come across any competition yet. However, having been to Bi-​Lo and Food Lion and even Harris Teeter and I don’t find any competition with Publix. Kind and courteous service and good deals. I thank Publix for making my climb down from Wegmans a little easier to take.

First off, I hate grocery shopping. Or did. Hated getting out, hated the trips, and most of all, hated the mind-​set I geared up into that I had to fight (almost not exaggerating) the people and parking lot just to get in and out of the typical place to go grocery shopping. Absolutely hated every bit.
Until I met Publix. Honestly a light at the end of the tunnel. What’s this? You WANT to help me find something? Huh? Courtesy? Manners? They exist! The employees here like to help you out and insist when I refuse the help. The grocer selection seems up there with some of the more trendy grocers, and for awhile I was convinced that they were a lot more expensive than the «other» place. I’m not counting the pennies, but I’m pretty sure their prices are very very close overall.
Things I love here: the employees, the selection overall, the (Boars Head) SUBS, the sushi, and the fact that they will give a kid a balloon and a cookie without a sniff or a huff. Everytime.

Only place you can buy the best quality deli meats. Awesome samples! Clean organized. Great store
