This place was recommended to us by a friend, and I am surprised it wasn’t on Unilocal yet.
Pick your own delicious strawberries for $ 1.70 per pound! In a supermarket they usually run about $ 2.50 per pound on sale, so these really are a stellar deal. Plus you don’t have to settle for a few moldy ones because you are choosing the ones you want. CASH ONLY!!! So make sure you bring a couple of dollars!
It’s pretty simple, you show up they hand you a bucket and you get to picking. There are about 30 or more rows of strawberries and they are all decently sized and pretty sweet. Plus you know where they are coming from!
They also have a few rows of peas if you want to pick those as well.
This is a great way to get outside with the family. There were a bunch of smaller children and they all seemed to be having fun.
Sure, it’s not as convenient as buying them in a supermarket, but the savings and the quality are worth it!
