I love Ann & Mindi! The spa is gorgeous & they have all the gel powders. My first time visiting & I will be back. They are personable & professional.

The service upon entering was horrible. We were greeted with attitude and were told it would be an hour for a manicure … Waiting wasn’t a problem but then a regular customer walked in and she was told 20 minutes for a manicure. The customer service all together needs to be reevaluated.

After leaving my dentist, I wanted to get a gel mani and this place was nearby. When I entered I was greeted by a clean shop and friendly techs. The main reason they are getting 2 stars, is because 3 of my nails started chipping only a week after my mani. I get gels all the time, and given my normal routines, my gels usually last well over 2 weeks. This was very disappointing and now i’m already looking to get a new gel done. This place needs to do better.

Update from my review in May 2014. This place has been my go-to nail salon since May 2014 but in the last 6 months, quality of work has gone down significantly!!! I used to sit there and happily chat with the nail tech and leave loving my nails. Now I sit there struggling to tell the tech that barely speaks any English that he/she trimmed/shaved/shaped my nails unevenly. One nail being nearly 1/8″ — ¼″ longer than all the rest, or crooked, or rounded too much while all the others are nicely squared. Why am I having to tell the professional that stares at nails all day that my nails aren’t even? Not even close! Why am I being ignored when I tell them that the pink acrylic powder they’re about to put on my nails is too dark? I used to tip big because I was so happy with my nails and the service, now I struggle with the idea of tipping at all. I miss the old staff. Décor was upgraded. But quality of service took a dive. Think I’ll be looking around for a new salon. Shame. :(

I came here after I had almost given up on DMV nail salons. But I was so satisfied! Tutu did his thing. He was very neat. He payed attention to detail. The girls were a little chatty so you seem a bit like they don’t notice you as a person. But I noticed them treat some of their regulars so great. Very personable when you get to know them I guess. And I love their Essie nail polish selection. My favorite polish brand 5 stars when I see consistency

I would have given this place more stars but this is the second time I’ve had an issue with their attitudes, over pricing, and them rushing since new management. The place looks nice but the customer service is horrible. A few weeks ago I got a color change and pedicure and they tried to charge me $ 66 dollars. I wanted to give it another try but I could not wait to write a review as soon as I left. My experience tonight was by far the worst I’ve ever experienced here. I walked out with fd up service, thin nails, and no color. I was over it and will never go there ever.

My favorite nail techs have moved from Tip Nails to Paul’s Nail Spa! They are quick and do incredible work! They are about to make major changes in the shop so check them out!

Went to Paul’s last week only because I was tired of going to random nail salons. Wasn’t too optimistic but I had the pleasure of having Paul himself do my nails. I got a acrylic set by him and they were awesome only thing that made me a little sour is he took the drill too close to one of my cuticles and it kept bleeding. But Paul is sweet and made sure my nails looked beautiful afterwards. I def will come back!

I wish I could like this place, unfortunately for the price it was terrible. I had a spa pedicure which was OK… Nothing special and not worth the price and a shellac manicure. Now the place I used to go to before I moved here my shellac manicures would last a minimum of 3 weeks and that was when I was working on a farm. Literally the next day my nails chipped and I wasn’t even doing anything strenuous on them. I went back and they fixed them but basically looked at me like I was a jerk for expecting it to be fixed for free. Fast forward two days when I’m at a wedding, not doing anything physical, and two more of the nails chip. Why pay $ 70 for a manicure/pedicure that lasted literally three days. Don’t waste your money going here.

In 2010, when I lived in Upper Marlboro, Paul’s was a convenient stop for my commute. I was getting fairly decent eyebrow waxes, and pedicures. The service slowly declined by 2012. I started looking for new nail salons. I would stop in infrequently for polish changes. The staff started, becoming rude for no apparent reason. I had to ask them to do more than one coat of polish, and the stylist kept ripping off the tail of my eyebrows. Now here it is 2014, I vist Pauls expecting change, no change, even worse. They ask what I want, I say just a polish change for toes, and he says 10 dolla. Paul says go pick your color. After I pick the color, Paul says, you wait, as if they were crowded. It was only 3 patrons inside. So I sit. Then Paul says to me 10 dolla, you pay now, I was taken aback. I told him I pay after services are rendered. He says no pay now. I politely got up and went to Happy Nails in Clinton. I got a beautiful polish job and I tipped her well.

I have never had to wait and the technicians are super friendly and accommodating. There are a wide variety of colors and service is always with a smile. You can sit back and watch the flat screens or luxuriate in their spa pedicure chairs. I love the«Me Time» I get when I’m here.
