My friend from California and I (from Nashville) just spent a wonderful 4 nights on Sugar Mountain. We walked in to Dereka’s and had the perfect log house recommended to us. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub and the well stocked kitchen. The place was spotless. We will definitely be back to recharge our batteries soon.

This place is spacious, comfortable, centric, beautiful, and affordable.
We stayed at the Grouse Forest unit 110. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 & ½ bathrooms, living room with a sofa bed, kitchen, washer & dryer. View to the mountain. It’s like 3 minutes away from the slopes and Extreme (Ski & snow board rental place)
, grocery store, and some restaurants.
Everything was clean when we got there. You have everything you need, just like in a hotel, but with a rustic atmosphere, with fireplace, perfect for this trip. It even come with sleds for us to play while we weren’t skiing.
Really good place to come to after a long day out.
