Ask the manager to turn up the A/C and she we can’t because we only have one a/c but it is very cold in I hop. They said they could not since it is a new A/C! WHAT. the bathroom sinks and the ceiling tiles need some work beef quesadillas done as a off menu item as a special request since on the menu is only chicken quesadilla that is some great service by the waitress Sandy S but had to leave since it was too cold inside I hop

This is ridiculous. We come here to eat all the time even though the ceiling has nasty ass water stains. It smells. My friend went to the bathroom, and they have no wet sign up. He slipped due to the lack of professionalism of this place, aka, no wet floor sign. THEMANAGER, showed us attitude for making a comment regarding this issue his name is Mike. I asked for his last name and he said you’re not getting that, and I’m not welcome here no matter what… I guess he doesn’t know I’ve been a patron here for over 6 years. This is the local iHop of my neighborhood. He threatened to call the cops, but this is ridiculous. We came here to get food. It’s not our fault they don’t know how to manage a restaurant. This establishment needs to fire the manager named Mike. He has no respect for his cutomers. What he doesn’t understand is that his«customers» pay for his bills. Therefore there’s no need to show attitude. And before he replies to this comment and says we wanted free food. I will submit proof we payed for everything we received in this shitty ass experience.

As much as I am a fan of IHOP today was bitter sweet. We had the sweetest Server Angeleka who took our order and had great presence. Unfortunately as the food was coming out it came out COLD!!! The Grits I ordered were clumpy and cold as well so she took everything back and let us know that was the last of the Grits(GASP). I wasn’t having anything else I came for 1 thing. The Kitchen was struggling today but it doesn’t mean I won’t be dropping in from to time.

3:06 am on a Thursday morning by myself, completely sober. The coffee was good with real half and half, they bring you a pitcher. The restaurant looked modern and very clean. Ian was my server and was very attentive. I had a craving for pancakes

If I could give it less stars than 1 than I would. Food was subpar. After we were done paying the waiter said, and I quote«we do not give back change.» I have never experienced such terrible service in my life. The waiter practically took money from all of my friends. So I left him a tip of a penny. Never coming back again.

IHOP is good. This location is not. The path to go from the front door to most tables is right past the kitchen which leads to near crashes with the staff. The place wasn’t the cleanest with syrup still on our table from the previous consumers.

i have been to IHOP since i was little. i have been to IHOP all over the US too. i recently moved to Houston area and found this place when I went to the HD store checking out motorcycles. this stafford IHOP is a mess! dirty, dark, dingy, nasty. the only reason i stayed there to eat was because i was starved. the food was not cooked as i wanted and had to send it back. when it came out, the part i had redone was hot and the rest of my food was at best… luke– warm. i won’ be going back to this one again… ever! service is bad, and it is just a horrible, disgusting IHOP. renovate! tear it down and start over PLEASE.

First off the server was rude. It took 10 min for her to get our drinks. It was not really busy in store. The food was luke warm when it got to the table. It was just bad all round.

I have loved IHOP ever since I was a kid. My mom used to take me there almost every Saturday & I would enjoy the deliciously buttery sweetness of the pancakes. Always been a favorite. Now, as an adult I still frequent this establishment, albeit not every weekend. Today, I visited this one in Stafford for the 1st time. Immediately upon walking in I was greeted & seated by the hostess. But, my attention was focused on the water damaged ceiling that immediately caught my attention. They need to get this fixed as I was not comfortable eating there while dark brown stains stared down at me(see attached pics). Service was mediocre at best. Kevin, my waiter, was extremely nice but seemed to be new. He didn’t check on me much & brought the check out with my order! I’m like dude at least let me take a bite of food first before you bring the check. Lol. Anyhow, he charged me extra for a substitution but immediately had the manager fix it when I brought it to his attention. I gave this place 2-stars because it is probably one of my least favorite IHOPs and I have been to PLENTY. Waiter was very nice but they really need to focus on cleanliness & fixing that water damaged ceiling! It’s an eye sore!

Please don’t think this is a regular IHOP. It was disgustingly dirty. Booths were falling apart and I didn’t want my children touching the walls. I was sitting across from where they keep the high chairs and they didn’t even bother to clean the food out of them. My food was horrible. I know the stuffed French toast is probably frozen but it was stale and burnt on top. The bacon was funky and looked undercooked. If it weren’t for the fact I don’t know my way around I would have left when I walked in.

The food is decent. IHOP in general needs to update the coffee that they use. It tastes bad. The employees tonight, like most nights, socialized more than attend to the customers. The restaurant was dirty. I have, however been to this location early and mid morning and the service was much quicker and the experience much better. Perhaps it was a lack of management present. My family eats for about the same price at a restaurant like BJs or Outback and recieves a much better experience. The real appeal to this place is just the hours of operation.

My son and I loved it. It felt more like Mama’s kitchen. Southern hospitality to a T. Our server was called Mama and she was just the sweetest! If you are into ‘proper behavior’ you might want to go elsewhere. This place feels like family members at the table. People will speak freely.

I wish I could give half a star food is good but the worst service I have ever received I’ve called trying to make a to go order is rang for 10 minutes Babe business. and when you go there seems like nobody knows what’s going on. I would not suggest this to anyone

Service is absolutely horrible!!! When I arrived they were not busy but it took 20 minutes to be seated. Another ten before my order was taken. I asked for no mushrooms in my omelette. Of course there were mushrooms in it.

Was on this side of town shopping so decided to go to IHOP for dinner. This was a mistake. Restaurant was nearly empty but we still had to go searching for menus since none were ever offered to us. We took this as a bad sign and decided to just leave.

Worst IHOP I have ever been to. The waitstaff argued over who was supposed to be waiting on tables. They also argued over who should be seated. The food was cold when we received it, even though we had to wait a lengthy time. The butter on my pancakes wouldn’t even melt.

Absolutely the worst! Would give no stars if I could. The«hostess» was the busboy while the waitresses stood around or acted busy. Big place and maybe 8 – 9 tables full. We waited for a menu, then waited for water, and ordering. And once we finally ordered we waited 25 mins for breakfast! From sit to eat was over 45min! Another customer complained and the waitress started yelling at the guy explaining how bad her day had been and that he needed to check himself. Oh hell no. Never again. There’s always Whataburger’s Jalapeño Cheddar biscuits!

Can I give it a no star review? This is the worst IHOP I have ever been to. The waitresses are annoyed and rude when you order. I ordered the pancake platter and I got my hashbrowns then 10 min later I got my eggs cold, 5 min later bacon and the 5 minutes later I got my pancakes which were wrong. 20 min later they still did not give me my I pancakes. What is so hard? Also, don’t go in the bathroom, it looks like it could be from a horror movie. I refuse to go back to this ihop!

Another day, another terrible IHOP experience. This will be my LAST time stepping my behind in any IHOP. I waited 10 minutes before someone would seat me so I grabbed a menu and seated myself. There was 3 servers who walked past me without any acknowledgment. Each time someone passed by I would ask for a drink and to order. One woman came by, picked up my menu then walked off. She then came and placed it back down and ask if I wanted a drink. She brought it, then I asked if she could take my order. She pointed at someone else to take my order. I could hear the other server ask her to take the order, she says«I don’t know.» Me: –__– After 5 more minutes, I pack up my laptop and belongings and head for the door. Then the supervisor or manager asks me if everything okay. I tell him that I’ll go elsewhere. He says that the woman will take my order now. I tell him, «She passed by me a million times without taking my order. Why worry about it now? I can AND will go elsewhere.» I should have known better just by the previous reviews than to even bother with this place. It has 2 stars for a REASON. Wish I could give 0 stars.

Always running out of products, and it is only 10pm. No crepes tonight! Saying they are going to Stafford store to get it. Three people wanted the same thing.

After our waitress loudly announced that she wasn’t going to «break her back“serving us as the hostess seated us in her section — it took her 15 minutes to take our order which she proceeded to commit to her awesome memory. No surprise, we didn’t get the correct order. We continued to get horrible service. My suggestion — skip this horribly managed IHOP.

The restaurant was 30%-40% full. We were seated right as we walked in. The waitress was very friendly, she offered coffee and asked if we needed time to review the menu. She came back quickly with coffee! Our food was fresh and hot. It tasted just as you’d expect from an IHOP. The best part of the experience was the waitress — she was so sweet and attentive. She gets 5 stars!

As a breakfast Avalon fan, I haven’t been here in years. However, after another time where Avalon had only one harried waitress and a long wait for svs., we left and decided to get our pancake on at Ihop. We were seated promptly, waited on promptly, albeit by a server who had issues getting the order correct. My blueberry pecan pancakes were good, though lacked that buttermilk taste I like. The compote on top was nice. I must say they overdid the powdered sugar/whipped cream bit on top. I really loved the butter pecan syrup. I may be hooked. The server forgot my grits, but since he brought a 5 stack instead of the short stack I ordered, I didn’t need them! Hubby’s scrambled eggs were okay, but a bit rubbery. The sausage also just okay. We had a long wait for the check and our waiter had to be reminded twice, but hey, it is Ihop, so I don’t expect 5 star attention. All in all, it was solid good food.

This review is solely on their crepes. I came here with a friend the other night just to get some dessert. We saw that they had crepes on their menu and we both decided that it sounded good and so we ordered. We were both extremely disappointed. Our crepes were strawberry fruit crepes. We were expecting the strawberries to be real strawberries. NOPE! They are the fake kind that you rehydrate. Totally let down. Should have just ordered pancakes.

Yep, it’s an iHop. I write this review for two reasons: 1) The pumpkin pancakes offered seasonally are my most favorite season food anywhere! They taste more like gingerbread to me. Love love them And they are here now(I am writing this in Nov of 2013). 2) I popped in here between some doctor’s appointments out in the Sugar Land area. I had to fast to do some blood work. I had about 45 minutes to eat after 24 hours of starving and before making it to another appointment. When I told the waitress my situation she got my coffee, food and ticket to me VERY quickly. I was out with about 10 minutes to spare. It’s clean, accomodating to single diners and your basic iHop food. Parking is a pain as it sits in an area of the shopping center that has few spots out front. Open 24 hours and many holidays.

If i could give 0-star, I WOULDGIVEZEROSTAR for this place. I have been to iHop near Washington and LOVED it. This time, we were near by so we stopped by here for some late night breakfast. WORSTDECISIONEVER. When we first got here, we waited to be seated for like 5 min and during that time, multiple servers/waiters saw us but didn’t even really bother. Once we sat, ordering food had no problem. This was probably the only one of the 2 things that were OKAY during this visit, the other one coming up– pancake. We ordered an omelette dish with Pancake stack and Berry Berry Brioche French Toast. and it took a long time for part of our food to some out. We got the pancake stack and french toast first. Pancake was good. It was warm & fluffy, thank god we ordered it. French Toast on the other hand? I didnt even want to pay $ 1 for that thing. It was not even warm, moist, and had no taste. The omelette? came out after we were done eating pancake. Here is the worst part. GETTINGTHECHECK. Our waiter, who was wearing clothes very sloppy and had bad attitude, was cleaning 3 other tables, clearing out the floor, and setting the table before getting us our check. We asked for 4 times and he kept on saying«I got ya» I have sent feedback to iHop on this experience. They should definitely do something about it and I really hope it gets better. So disappointed.
