I come here a few times whenever I’m in the mood to bargain hunt. It’s a hit or miss here– you may or may not find something you like but they have great selection of quality jeans at a super cheap price! The clerks are great and helpful, very friendly. I’ve never had a problem shopping here.

Yikes. This place is bad. And this is coming from someone that gave the Blackbird on Westheimer a 5 star rating. One reviewer stated that this place is no better than a higher end Plato’s; I will take that further and say that this was worse than Plato’s. There was nothing here that I would have even considered buying. Everything looks cheap and boring. In my opinion Blackbird should just close this location and stick to their others that have much better items in stock.

The first time I came into Blackbird, I was just checking out a store that was next to Dulce’s for fun. When I searched through their selection, I was shocked at the amazing selection of stylish clothing. The prices were very reasonable and some items could even be considered a steal considering the brand. I’m surprised that the store isn’t as popular as it should be!
When trying to sell clothing there, I received decent prices. The prices they offer are reasonable seeing as they’re a consignment store. Overall great experience. I will definitely be a returning customer!

Went into Blackbird today and was so disappointed. I’ve been in before and it wasn’t terrible, but I didn’t find anything. Today I went back to try my luck again and there was nothing. I’m a size M-​L and there was nothing appealing in that size. Overall, they have about 5 racks with decent merch but it just seemed very tiny and very under stocked. I’ve given clothes before and for six bags full have been offered $ 7.00 so maybe people aren’t bringing their clothes here. Oh well. I won’t be back. Waste of time.

It’s almost like a higher end thrift store or version of Plato’s Closet. I like that when you go into the store, you don’t see racks and racks of clothes being squeezed into one section like you do at Plato’s, which is just overwhelming and makes me not even want to attempt looking.
I came here to sell some clothes I was going to give to Goodwill. You don’t get a lot of money for what they pick out, but it probably explains why so many of their items are dirt cheap. Their selection is okay– they don’t have much of what I would see in my closet at least. I saw maybe two items I would consider purchasing while I was waiting for them to sort through my clothes.
Conclusion: You can check it out but nothing too great over here. Also, don’t come here selling your clothes thinking you’ll make any money. It’s more pocket change than anything.

Just wanted to write an update about their buying clothes process. I took some of my spring cleaning items here and I was shocked at how picky they were and how little they give you for your clothing. I got $ 7 for two dresses and a shirt I had only worn once. Well, I accepted it since I was just going to donate them anyway. However, these items were in great condition… and I have seen some pretty cheesy things on their racks in the shirt department, so I surprised when they turned down a few of my items. I will still sell here in the future, but will not have high expectations at all.
I’ll just consider my good quality clothing and lack of fair trade in value as a donation to the local business community!

Clean thrift store with a decent selection of in style threads. They even have a nice selection of guys clothing. I didn’t see what sizes the ladies went through, but I didn’t see any plus sizes so probably only size 14 and under. I was there to look at shirts for my guy and found a nice one for $ 6. They even have a happy hour for 20% off on Mondays from 4−7pm.
