Artique is a new gift shop that has opened up in the Whole Foods shopping center. It is absolutely packed full of a dizzying array of items from jewelry to home décor. They’ve used every square foot and then some. Almost everything in this store is a trinket or gift that is not essential, so basically this place has a bunch of items you don’t need and some you never even thought of. Some of the jewelry was ok, but most of it I found gaudy. I did pick up a decent turquoise necklace for $ 17 which was good. There were a variety of different things to play with like old fashioned sand timers, little glass desk ornaments, paperweights, and on and on. The walls have some art pieces for sale, several of which I didn’t even notice at first because they are placed so high on the walls and I was constantly looking down as not to bump into anything. There is an art class room in the back. While we were there, several children were picked up, so they do children art classes, not sure about anything for adults. I would maybe go back in if I was looking for a gift for someone and I wanted something fun and most likely useless.
