Nu-Skin Laser Solutions

The technicians are awesome and friendly but there’s only two. My friends and I have purchased their packages but having to book treatments months in advance has been very difficult.
You can’t go with a tan and have to be consistent or it won’t be as effective, yet need to schedule based on limited availability/​hours. Buying a package and not being able to use it for over a month makes no sense.
Although online scheduling is makes booking an app. easy it’s no help if they are completely booked for the next two months and have to keep checking in.
As of today ¹⁰⁄₁₃ you can’t get an afternoon app. until December, and the December calendar isn’t even open yet for scheduling.
Hopefully they hire some more technicians so they can accommodate clientele.

I am quite a fan of Nu-​Skin and have been for some time. I initially came here through a groupon offer for eyelash extensions. My technician, Nicole, always took me on time (if not earlier) and was professional, sanitary, and friendly. The place itself is well kept, up to date, and welcoming. I frequented Nu-​Skin for my eyelashes for a while, until I had to cut back on some of my more frivolous expenses ;)
Now, I am back, but for a difference service. Once again, through the wonderful groupon experience. This time I opted for laser hair removal treatments. The appointment I made for my consultation also ended up being my first treatment. Not to worry, the receptionist is very informative when you make your initial appointment and will tell you everything you need to do prior to your first visit. Everything from paperwork to prepping the area. I was told that I would need to use the laser that is for darker skinned people due to my olive complexion. My technician informed me that this one tends to be slightly more «uncomfortable.» Let me just say, yes. HO-​LY SHIT! This is painful people, no if ans or buts about it. I consider myself to have a VERY high pain tolerance, but this was surprisingly beyond what I had prepared myself for. I’m sure the fact that I had it done on such a sensitive area did not help, but, seriously, OUCH! Thankfully my technician was very sweet and patient with me, and reassured me that we can take as many breaks as needed. (Where the hair is more densely packed, the more painful it is, hence more breaks during these areas). I was given a stress ball to squeeze and goggles to wear, as did the technician. The only thing i did notice, which I have to note is that she touched her hair several times and then the treatment area (yes she was wearing gloves) but still, knowing what I know from so many medical professionals, that’s a big no no.
Anyway, yes I survived my first treatment. Went back for a second (just as painful) with Nicole, who was great to see after so long, and have scheduled my third appointment. I will say that my hair growth has come to a halt after just the second treatment, but I don’t want to jump the gun so I will do at least 6 or 7 out of the 8 total that I purchased. Does this service hurt like a b*tch? YES! Ya heard it here first! However, I would recommend that anyone thinking of doing it, does it, because it is definitely worth it.
Prices are definitely reasonable for their services (definitely way better than many places in Jersey), and everyone is pleasant, knowledgeable, and for the most part sanitary (minus that isolated slip up). Would definitely advise people I know to come here for hair removal or any of the other many services they offer. Definitely worth checking out.

Getting a tattoo hurts but having one removed hurts more. Read good things about Nu-​Skin and decided to give them a try. For this area it seems like they have a monopoly on tattoo removal services. Normally, when one has a monopoly they act like it. Fortunately, that’s not true here. Staff was attentive, cordial and polite. Scheduling an appointment was easy and all done online. Their automated email follow up system is also efficient and fast.
Had an appointment with Nicole yesterday morning and after a brief consultation, signed up for two years of tattoo laser removal. The process is state of the art but still takes a bunch of sessions depending upon size and color of the aberration. For the time and work needed, I felt the cost was reasonable so I went ahead, paid and had my first session.
Fortunately for their staff and other patrons, Nicole is quite attractive. If not, I might have screamed like a little bitch because it does hurt quite a bit. At the same time they use the laser they also employ a machine that shoots freezing air over the area to lessen the pain. Whole thing was finished in a few minutes and I was on my way, having scheduled a follow up appointment in 6 weeks.
Today the area feels fine and is just a bit tender. I will continue to update throughout the process but have a feeling all will go according to plan. So far, so good and I would highly recommend them. What I would NOT recommend is getting a tattoo you’re not crazy about because the process is time consuming and painful. But for those of us who might not have chosen wisely or perhaps inked the name of an ex prominantly into their flesh, it’s really the only choice.

I was a client here for about a year. I went in for five sessions (I only missed one because I lost my car keys and could not make it on time). I found it to be EXCRUTIATINGLY painful which was surprising to me as I have several large tattoos that took hours to complete. Additionally, about two-​three weeks after every session my hair growth would return to normal. Despite going for five sessions, the growth was never reduced.
However, I do have to add that both technicians I saw were always polite, professional, and nice to talk to. Unfortunately the results never appeared for me.

I have had ⁵⁄₆ laser hair removal sessions of a package I purchased. I am extremely satisfied with the results so far. The staff is friendly, respectful, and knowledgable. Dina has been my primary tech and she is fantastic. The salon offers many specials and services. It is very bright and also clean. They offer appointments after 7pm which is great, and offer online scheduling. I definitely recommend this salon for hair removal or any of the many services they offer!

I have been going to Nu-​Skin for hair removal for over two years and am very happy with the results and how I am treated. Dina treats me and she is excellent and very caring. Ann Marie is also great — all of the women there are nice and a lot of fun.
I recommend going there for their services.

I started going to Nuskin over two years ago for laser hair removal after a bad experience with a NJ facility. Not only are the costs much lower at Nuskin, because of the difference in NY and NJ laws, but the ladies who work at Nuskin are far more professional than the previous place I went to. I have been treated by Trish, AnnMarie, Dina and Nicole… all do a fantastic job. I like that the center has evening and weekend hours so I can always fit it into my busy schedule. The new office is very nice with big treatment rooms.
My hair is very dark and coarse and I have light skin which makes me the perfect candidate for the Candela laser they use. They do have other lasers for different skin types. People need to be realistic about the results they expect. Even after 12 treatments in some areas, I still have to shave once in a while or go in for a touch-​up treatment, but what does come back is much thinner and hardly noticeable. Before laser hair removal, I never had such smooth skin and always had to worry about razor burn or stubble. I had to shave every single day, sometimes twice a day in the summer. It is wonderful to be free of all that and I thank the ladies at Nuskin!

I have been going to Nu-​Skin for laser hair removal for over a year now. I am very happy with the rsults! The service is always excellent! They also periodically offer terrific special prices to their customers. Very profeesional and very caring! I definitely recommend them!

I have been a client of this facility for 2 years and somehow still have hair on the treated areas. I understand that this service takes time and multiple treatments. However, after spending $ 4,000 it is disheartening that my desired results have not been achieved. Further more my experiences with the staff have been one lack of communication after another. I also feel that it is unprofessional to text message customers because of how they may be ill interpreted. Lastly, it seems as if revenue is solely what drives the owner (Trish) even though it should be customer satisfaction and professionalism which she lacks in both.
