We found this treasure during a quick stop in MA. Service, wonderful. Food, perfect. My baked haddock was the best I have had. And the rice pudding dessert was the lightest and creamiest I have ever had.

Cheap beers. Food left a lot to be desired. Baked stuffed haddock was swimming in a cream sauce. Mashed potatoes tasted like gluten. Tables are sticky even after the server cleans them. If you want some $ 1.99 coors light, this is your place. If you are more hungry than thirsty, you might move on.

I will say that Bentley II Pub is much improved compared to last year. We’ve had two great meals in a row — last night and tonight. I had a house salad with their homemade blue cheese dressing both nights. Their dressing is definitely homemade and is really good. Salad is large and fresh and has a variety of lettuce, large tomato slices, cukes, red onion, and maybe more. Better than your normal salad… I had wings last night, and the yellowish sauce(maybe honey BBQ?) is really good. Tonight I had bourbon steak tips — very large portion, cooked medium rare perfectly, with two sides. Definitely enough for leftovers. Service was great both nights. Fresh brewed tea is good and no waiting for refills. Only complaint: the nasty cigarette butt ashtray outside the entrance. It had rained yesterday and was disgusting last night. Much better shape tonight, but still gross to have to look at when you enter.

We were up in mass for a concert, and wanted to do dinner close to our hotel, so we walked over. From the moment we walked into the place it had a great atmosphere. Our service was BEYOND excellent. The food was outstanding! We had 6 adults, 1 app, 3 sodas 6 beers, and 6 meals and our bill was UNDER $ 120, we were AMAZED!!! Will definitley go back again soon even if its just to venture out for dinner!

We walked in at 1:30 today, hungry from our drive back from Portsmouth, NH. We stopped at the Hostess Station, where we were greeted by a sign that said«Please Wait to Be Seated». The Hostess Station was empty. So we waited. And we waited. And we waited. After a solid five minutes of waiting we left. Here’s my thoughts. If you have a Hostess Station, and ask Customers to wait there, shouldn’t you at least be sure that the station is staffed? Or at the very least have one of the numerous waitresses take 30 seconds out of her rounds and take care of you? Were they understaffed? Possibly. Could that have been foreshadowing of similar delays in ordering, food delivery, bill processing, etc? Certainly that ran through our minds. So we left and walked across the parking lot to McDonalds, where at least they gave the impression that they care about paying customers. There are 30 reviews here for the Bentley Pub, and six of them mention poor service and unreasonable delays, so I don’t think I’m not being overly critical in my assessment.

Very good in every category! Great variety of very cold beer and a nice variety on the menu. Everything was cooked perfectly from chicken wings to Hawaiian burger to shrimp and scallops. Cool bar area with separate booth seating that is well lit and all very clean. Recommended, will return.

We sat in the bar. The food was great and so was the service. my only complaint was the back door and the bathroom door slammed every time somebody went out of it. Very distracting

My sister and I stayed at the hotel next door for a week. We went to Bentleys everyday to relax eat and play Keno. The staff are great and it’s such a friendly crowd of visitors and locals.

My coworker and I visited this establishment for lunch today. Her order came back incorrectly, but we were on lunch break, so we did not have time to send it back. She told the woman that brought it but her idea of fixing the problem was to let us know that she would yell at the waiter. I ordered the hot roast beef sandwich. The roast beef was very dry, as was the bread it was served on. It came with a horseradish sauce on the side. The only way I was able to choke it down was by dipping each bite in the sauce. Not enjoyable at all.

This pub was right across the street from out hotel. I can’t remember what Rick had to eat, but I know I had a Bentley special burger and it came with fries. Nothing in my meal was hot when we got back to the hotel 3 minutes later. It was very clear my fries had been sitting around awhile. Lukewarm just doesn’t cut it when it comes to hot food. Not a fan of this place.

It’s okay. The old Picadilly Pub was much better. Like I said, the food isn’t «bad,» it’s just not amazing.

We found that the menu had changed and many of the vegetarian options are not offered anymore, with only one teriyaki stir fry being offered. We left and went to Teddy G’s and found there that a great selection was offered.

Went in on a Friday night for dinner. My husband and I sat at the bar, the bartender was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip, which was very good. For Dinner he had a burger and I had the turkey sandwich. The burger was cooked perfectly Med just like it was ordered. The turkey was great but I’m pretty sure the stuffing was stove top, which I am fine with. The prices were very reasonable, and the serving sizes were large. The one complaint my husband had was not having a lot of beers on tap for a pud, and nothing local.

How this place has three stars and the Sturbridge Seafood restaurant has more is beyond me. After NOT being able to buy food at SS my wife and I left there and came here. I had swordfish and my wife had the haddock. Everything was excellent and the service was great. We saw our bartender more in five minutes here than forty minutes at SS

Looked like a lovely place to stop for brunch. Unfortunately, it took ten minutes for a waitress to seat my husband and me, even though there was no one else waiting and the restaurant was clearly only at about 50% capacity. We then sat at our booth for about fifteen minutes and watched half a dozen waitresses walk by to seat and serve other customers without stopping even to take a drink order. We tried to catch their eye, but all the staff seemed oblivious that we existed. They were also oblivious when we walked out.

I liked this place. The food was simple, there was a lot of it, and it was very, very cheap for what you get in this day and age! I had the stuffed peppers and for $ 9.54 with a big fat salad on the side who can complain? Most places would charge extra for that salad. Also had the turkey dinner w/two sides and kids meal that came with a side and a unexpectedly large 16 – 20 oz apple juice. Got take out to take it back to the Host Hotel where we were staying to get out of the cold for a night… and it was a hit. Thanks. Total bill was about $ 20.50 + tax! Good hearty comfort food and you could tell this was made in house. Everything seemed very fresh. Good Chef. Will be back.

Not sure how this place only has 3 stars and it seems like the 1 star review below is because somebody thought that a pub wouldn’t be busy on a Saturday night, but this place is really good. Staying nearby for business, went here for lunch and a beer, and then came here again that night for dinner and a beer. Really cool pub atmosphere, the bartender(Tammy) was super attentive and friendly to everyone at the bar, and the prices are insanely reasonable for such great food. I’d recommend the Bentley Signature Burger or the Open Faced Reuben, both were fantastic. See you guys next time I’m here.

A pub. Just a pub. But if that’s what you’re looking for, it’s a good one. Went for lunch. Sandwiches fresh. Choices of sides plenty. Service pleasant and efficient. Prices reasonable. Just a pub. But a decent one so I’d go back again when in the area.

good food & service. Thank you for taking us in late. We’ll be back! I won’t be heading to T. G’s anytime soon.
