Me and my husband had breakfast here this morning. Food was absolutely delicious! I had the walkout-chocolate chip pancakes with scrambled eggs and cheese my husband had French toast and an egg and cheese omelet which looked amazing. We waited around 15 minutes which for the Sunday before Memorial Day and around 10am wasn’t bad at all. Service was great. We were very pleased and full for hours.

I would recommend eating here if you just had your stomach stapled to the size of a golf ball, or if you enjoy 2 egg omelets filled with cheap disgusting american cheese and minced baby food style meats and veggies. The elderly people who eat here do seem to love it though.

This place can get sooo busy especially on weekends but there’s a reason! The food is so good and the prices simply can’t be beat! The waitress staff is very friendly and efficient even when they’re swamped, and the waiting line usually moves along. Definitely worth checking out!

Great old school family diner. I stop in when I’m in town. Awesome food, warm service, and reasonable prices. From the moment you walk in you feel like you’ve walked into someone’s kitchen. The meals are large. I usually have to take food home.

Rip off! I ordered a veggie scramble($ 7.50). I asked to substitute spinach for peppers and was told it would be an «up charge.» I said ok thinking it would be a buck at the most. When I got the bill, my mediocre, runny scramble was a whopping $ 12.95! They charged me a dollar for each vegetable in the omelette«a la carte» even though all the vegetables were included in the original menu item. When I complained I was told«too bad.» I will NEVER patronize this restaurant again and I would recommend anyone reading this do the same unless you like throwing your money away.

Classic spot! Been coming here since I was a wee lad. Glad to see these guys stay in business for so long. Great people over at Annie’s. Very affordable breakfast that fills you up for the whole day.

Loved it here! Everything was so yummy! The toast was cooked perfect, eggs were perfect and not overcooked, the bacon was at the perfect level of cooked not over or under cooked, and the blueberry pancakes were awesome and the blueberries tasted very fresh! Also the home fries!!! YUM!!! Definitely will be back here. The prices were very good and the service was great.

I’ve only ever gotten take-out from here. I love breakfast food and was very excited when I started working across the street thinking I’d found a new breakfast place. I also love to support local businesses, and thought this local diner was adorable. The food is mediocre and I was very disappointed by the home fries(if you want to call them that). I also thought it was a bit pricey for a local diner with mediocre food.

Incredible food. Usually a wait but it’s worth it! Best breakfast diner around. Great atmosphere too!

Looking for a place to eat breakfast on the way from providence Rhode Island. The breakfast was tasty and great portions. Wait staff was kind and accommodating. We only waited about 10 minutes. Very popular place so you may have to wait a few minutes. Love the fact they accept debit/credit cards.

So after seeing the reviews and taking a few of them as suggestions as to what we should eat… my wife and I decided to try the Lumberjack with hash, eggs, raisin bread and biscuits. First off the wait staff are very well. If this was a review based on them I would easily give this 5 stars but sadly it’s not. The hash-browns. It smelled and tasted like dog food. So either their fresh ingredients are referring to fresh from the can because it certainly wasn’t fresh from scratch. This was huge let down because I was really looking forward to them. The eggs were… well eggs can’t really mess that up. The biscuits were good and the raisin bread was good but like the eggs… you can’t screw them up. I really hate to give such a low rating but the meal just wasn’t good. Getting food in and out fast is good but within 5 min of ordering only proves the fact they are working with canned food heated up… not fresh ingredients.

This place is way over rated. It is actually stressful to go here. The hostesses are usually rushed and grumpy. There are tons of rules. Make sure you dont take a table before your whole party gets their even if they are in the parking lot or you wil get a stern talking to. Don’t even bother asking if they can substitute things. They will just ro their eyes and say no. Not kid friendly at all. We actually got spoken too because our kids«made a mess and it’s not their job to clean up after them.» On top of it the food is mediocre at best. I would say drive right by there are much better places for breakfast brunch and lunch if you drive a little further into town.

Everything on the menu is great. I would recommend the corn beef hash, the home fries and the biscuits. My husband and I received amazing service, even at 5:30am. As many people have mentioned, you could easily feed a horse here for under $ 20. It’s a little off the beaten path, but worth the trip.

Not sure why this place gets 4 stars it’s a below average local diner in my opinion. Traveling through the area I stopped in for a quick breakfast based on its Unilocal rating. Ordered a bacon, mushroom and cheddar omelette. It came out quick but it was one of those«wrap» omelette a where they cook the eggs in a flat sheet and then roll up the ingredients inside when it’s fully cooked instead of cooking the omelette together with the ingredients. The cheddar was almost nonexistent. The bacon was good, but slightly undercooked(which I don’t mind). The mushrooms were wet and weren’t cooked at all, probably straight out of a can. The home fries were pretty standard and a bit cold. Rarely do I not finish a meal but I left quite a bit of eggs and home fries on my plate when I left. I would advise you go someplace else for breakfast.

Driving through the Berkshires early in the morning, and we wanted a good diner for breakfast. We found it. Delicious blueberry granola pancakes… tenderloin egg and house cut potato skillet… bottomless coffee and service with a smile. The menu is huge, the servings are huge… I would have given a 5 star but the coffee was a bit weak. Great place!

This little hole in the wall is excellent! I found it via Unilocal on my way through Mass. to NH. The place was small, cozy, and packed with people. I had the jumbo clam strips and they were great and they were huge! Looked like something they got out of the Marianas Trench. The tartar sauce was delicious. My wife ordered the fish sandwich which was gigantic. The fish dwarfed the roll it came on. You could have made two sandwiches. It was good as well. She also ordered the lobster bisque which was very tastey but had very tiny pieces of lobster. Wait staff and hostess were pleasant and competent. Well worth a visit!

I am a big fan of this little eatery as they do so many things right and much of the menu is made in house. Annie’s is a diner by all standards, however; they offer little menu variances that add to the charm and sizzle of this restaurant. You will find most of the diner standard classics available almost daily, unlike some diner specials that are offered only once per week. They serve breakfast and lunch daily and breakfast on the weekends only. The service is always top notch even when the place is very busy, I have never had a complaint either in service or quality, this remains one of my favorite hidden gems in that area.

Haven’t gone to breakfast with my wife on a Saturday morning in such a long time, so we were really looking forward to it. Decided to stop here before going grocery shopping. Always better to go food shopping after eating… otherwise things end up in the basket that i shouldn’t eat… lol! Really enjoyed Anne’s more than I thought I would or remembered when I stopped in awhile ago by myself. Waitress was great and our Omelets were delicious. Coffee was even tasty and I normally only like DD coffee. Nothing special… But I would definitely stop in again. Only one issue for my wife was she didn’t want onions in her Veggie Omelette. However… No onions meant they couldn’t add green peppers which she loves because they already have them mixed.

I’ve only been there for breakfast, but this is almost the only breakfast place we’ll go to in the area(We’ll sometimes to go another place which just opened if Annie’s is too full). The food isn’t going to win awards for presentation or style, but you’ll get alot of it done well. My father always gets the Lumberjack Special, which is a whole lot of food, for not much price. I could eat half of it, and still be paying less for better food than almost anywhere else around. One thing to keep in mind though is that on the weekends you could be waiting a long time in line. It’s best to call ahead and ask how long the line is, but even then you could end up waiting if people get there. The best time to go on a Sunday is before church lets out, since everyone in the area seems to come here then. I can’t recall any time(in 20 years of coming here) that I’ve been able to show up and be seated immediately other than at the bar.
