After having disastrous blonde situations I was terrified to find a new colorist when I moved. Luckily you Unilocalers hit it out of the ball park with miss Jackie at tease salon. She is a blonde herself and understands what we need to get it blonde and keep it healthy. She is such a wonderful stylist and even introduced me to olaplex which has helped salvage my hair from the nonstop breakage that happens when you go blonde. My hair is growing and it’s never orange. She is honest and does a fantastic job. sO happy I found her. Love you Jackie!

When I moved to Studio City from Chicago two years ago, I was lost without my hair stylist. I had no idea where to go, so I did nothing for several months. I finally turned to Unilocal and found Jackie. By the time I got to her my hair extensions were completely matted, my color had grown out, and my hair was a mess. Jackie patiently and delicately removed my hair extensions and gave my hair a healthy cut. Over the past couple of years she has given my brown hair gorgeous California highlights, and everyone comments on it and asks who does my hair. She also introduced me to the Brazilian Blowout which I now get on a regular basis. It has made my hair soft, shiny and manageable. In addition to being a great stylist she is also a wonderful, caring person and I loved her from the minute we met!

I was terrified to leave my hair guru when I moved here and didn’t want to go through the trauma of trying out stylists… I looked and looked until I settled on someone to whom I could trust with my hair. THANK GOD for Jackie!!! She is AMAZING with cut and color! Tasteful, trendy and fun Jackie is the whole package! Stop looking and call her. You will NOT be disappointed!!!

I found Jackie and Tease Hair Studio through a Groupon for a Brazilian blowout. Within five minutes of walking in the salon and meeting Jackie I knew I’d never go back to my old salon ago. That was at least two years ago. She got what me and my hair immediately.
I will just say my hair has never looked better since I started seeing Jackie. Every day is a good hair day!
She’s a wiz with color, cuts, highlights, blowouts, glazes, and Brazilians. She’s professional, warm, funny, engaging, and accommodating. She’s fit me in numerous times for «hair emergencies». My time with her is always relaxing and enjoyable. Her prices are very affordable, which is very important to me as I get my roots done every three weeks.
I would give Jackie and Tease Hair Studio 10 stars if that was an option!

Jackie is the best. Not just that my hair color and cut are fabulous but she is an amazing person. Kind and generous. I am a loyal client once I find the right person. After trying out numerous others, I tried Jackie for me. (I had been bringing my daughter to her for years). Once and I was hooked. I can not say enough about her.

Wow! I highly recommend Jackie for keratin treatments! She made my hair look absolutely amazing! I had an initial idea of what kind of results I wanted, and she gave me a recommendation and explained her recommendation. I followed her advice, and my hair came out amazing! She uses the real stuff, not imitation products, so you don’t have to worry about not being able to wet your hair and you can still put your hair up after the treatment. She is such a great person to talk to as well, and the 2 hours just flew by. She’s also a color specialist and has organic color products, so I’ll definitely be going back to see her again! (^_​^)

I have been a customer of Tease Hair Studio for years. I actually found Jackie by accident, but boy am I glad fate put us together.
Not only is she always up on the lastest and greatest hair techniques, she’s fun, professional and affordable. The triple threat!
When I originally started seeing Jackie, I had hair extensions. She was so much better than the gal I was seeing that I immediately made the switch. I eventually had them take out, but I will never trust my head of hair to anyone else.
If you’re new to the area, or unhappy with your current stylist, do youself a favor and give Jackie a call!

I gotta say that I, like Hilary, have only been here for a wax with Heidi and my experiences have been nothing but great! She’s super flexible with appointment times and does her job with a bit of magic — quick and as painless as waxing can be.
Pricing is very reasonable and everyone in there is very friendly.
Good location, parking, and there’s a Peete’s Coffee in the same little plaza too :-)

I’ve only been in for the waxing, but it is a full service salon.
Heidi Favia is the resident Esthetician and she kicks ass.
She’s quick, efficient, and has an amazing sense of humor.

the prices are dead on average, and the parking is free. i make the trek to the valley once a month for this!
