Just walked out… Terrible and rude service. Asked the hostess to send a waiter over and she didn’t even bother to tell anyone we were waiting Manager was a jerk instead of trying to solve the problem. Never going back!

If I could I’d give this place 0 stars. The southwest chicken wrap had one piece of chicken. It comes with a «salad» which is just chopped up dry lettuce. Horrible food, horrible service!

Visiting from Jersey and came across this place by my hotel. Place is pretty cool. You’ll get that whole diner feel. Food is okay, not the best. You would think it’ll be gold cause the prices were extremely high. The service is pretty good, super friendly.

If I could leave a no star rating I would. The server was bice and that is all I could say good about this place. Food was terrible and expensive! Double double sandwich for $ 18 and it jad no flavor a dab of coleslaw and bread was hard! Rhe frence fries where cold and had to send them back. Baked beans and potatoe salad were packaged and I could buy the same at Ralph’s deli. Avoid do not waste your money

The food here was good but it was over priced inside the deli. If you want to get a better price and you’re in the mood for some bowling I suggest you order it from Pinz. They took forever but it wasn’t our waiters fault. It seemed like he was the only one working the whole bowling area by himself. I had a decent time over all

This review is to tell you to save yourself from yourself and never, ever order the«Ramen Bowl,» even if you’re house-sitting in Reseda and literally nowhere else on Postmates in the area has ramen and the one place that did, you already tried ordering from only to find out the restaurant is actually permanently closed. Don’t do it. It’s not ramen. It’s like chicken noodle soup with long noodles and no chicken. It’s a sad state of affairs.

Parking is easy and they have their own lot. First time here a few days ago and it definitely has that diner feel. Our waitress Toni was really friendly. Food was not amaaaazing but it’s still good and came out really quickly. They have a really big menu from pastrami sandwiches to all-day-breakfasts, to kimchi fried rice. Takes a while to decide if you get overwhelmed from big menus. Will definitely come back!

I have always been a fan of a 24 hour deli. When I was single Jerry’s was in my normal breakfast rotation on Friday mornings. I love their swimming pool sized bowl of clam chowder served with bagel chips, yes I would get it for breakfast! I also used to love their Old European platter filled with all kinds of unknown yumminess. The old world platter is now gone from the menu, but a few of the items are still available in the nosh section. Breakfast is still pretty good though portions seemed to have gotten much smaller than I remembered and the last time I was in there with the family the service was very slow and inattentive. I will still go back for the clam chowder even if I have to wait a bit longer, Aloha

While understaffed, the service was friendly — and although not the most speedy, I think it’s worth noting that I appreciate the time and patience the server took giving my husband and I recommendations and pleasantly addressing my(probably) annoying request for 10 water refills though out my sitting. Their chicken noodle soup hit the spot as I wasn’t feeling well at all that evening and the main reason I went here in the first place. So, a win there. Having lived next to Canter’s for years, it’s hard not to compare the two and admit that Jerry’s falls short in most areas including ambience, food quality, and just overall amazingness. But I’d still go back here from time-to-time for convenience purposes.

Jerrys Unfamous Deli. Waited 45 minutes for my food. Thought my hearing was going until I asked my friends what was happening Thank god it wasn’t my hearing. The waiter was from another country and he couldn’t speak English very well. When my omelette came it was flat as a pancake I had them take it back. Then I ordered the beef stroganoff and that was that delicious. It was a nice surprise my friend invited me to her birthday dinner. That was the highlight of my night. Service was terrible.

Jerry’s has been a favorite ever since I can remember walking. Unfortunately, recent alterations have not spring-boarded Jerry’s to new levels of success. Instead, they have tilted into a downwards barrel-role to eventual failure. Marginal service, marginal food. Among the changes include doing away with their by & far best item: The Yummy. If a fried Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich artfully drizzled with sweetness isn’t the best thing since sliced bread, I don’t know what is. What would behoove one to deprive the people of this timeless delicacy? I have no clue. It’s sad to see such a great deli go down in the history of mediocrity.

Would you believe I wanted to surprise my daughter with some matzo brei for her birthday during Passover that she loves and I picked it up at Jerry’s Deli in Studio City paid like 12 or $ 13 would you believe this is what they give you really I guess that’s what you get when speaking with a manager named Juan to tell me what happened here and he said it is what it is. If one keeps managing this place it will go to a 1-star or a negative if he keeps it up this way thanks for nothing Juan the manager

Just finished the Reuben pastrami sandwich on rye! It’s the Polish in me that craves sauerkraut and rye bread! So delicious I can’t believe I almost ate the whole thing. I will definitely have leftovers for later thank goodness because I saved room for the also amazing bread pudding with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. Does ordering green tea make it healthy at all? Anyone? Thanks again Susan for being the best server we’ve had in the longest time!

Had a great lunch experience. Best Bloody Mary and it was at a great price. Service was good as well as the food. That cole slaw is amazing. I cant wait to come back for happy hour and do a bit of bowling next door. Thanks Jerry’s!

This place used to be the spot when I was a kid. And honestly I’m very disappointed in there service and the quality of food. We used to always either come to this location or the Westwood one or the Beverly Hills one. Had such great memories at the this place and its sad to say I will never come back. From the moment we walked in it was horrible. There’s a podium by the front door where you would assume that someone would greet you and take you to your table. We literally waited 5 min and I thought maybe you just sit yourself. So finally some rude server comes and takes us to our table. Here goes another 5 minutes waiting for someone to come to our table and get our drink order. My Ice Tea was old and rotted tasting. The Sprite we got was flat. Literally took forever for the server to come back around and change our drinks. We got Cokes and those were fine. So since they have a million choices of food we opted for something simple. A Turkey Sandwich on wheat and some steak Fries. And we were sharing cause there portions are pretty big. So the Turkey Sandwich only comes with the Turkey and the bread. So we added lettuce, tomatoes, mayo and mustard. Now when I tell you our sandwich was horrible, I think horrible is an understatement. I have never in my life had a bad turkey sandwich. Like the Turkey tasted like water. We thought maybe the lettuce was bad and we took the lettuce out and still tasted bad. Honestly the only thing I could taste was the Brown Mustard in it. The Turkey was absolutely tasteless. So disappointing. Then the Steak Fries weren’t even right. Half were overcooked and hard and the other half undercooked and raw. Like seriously! I used to Love Jerry’s. But no more. I definitely will not be back anytime soon.

Ok u guys get it together. Jerrys, u used to be the spot. The old as time, universal meeting place where there was something for everyone. Now it’s like u don’t even care about your quality of food anymore. Tonight we ordered a club sandwich(unbelievably bland. Almost not edible cuz it was so dry), and a veggie burger(which looked like a weird plastic processed circle & tasted like what I would think a dog chew toy might taste). SERIOUSLY…my dad used to bring me here as a kid & the food used to taste as a deli should. I mean come on! How hard is it to make a turkey sandwich u guys. Even worse… U ARELOCATEDINLA. So If u have only one vegetarian option on ur menu u gotta make it good. I wouldn’t recommend eating here if u have a choice.

I had been promising 17-year-old Daughter N. for years that the next time we’re down in the L.A. area, we’ll go to a real deli. Compared to Los Angeles, where it seems like there’s one on every corner, we don’t have a lot of Deli’s up in the Portland OR area. So, here we were, vacationing in Sherman Oaks and I was reminiscing about a time long before the days of Unilocal,or even cell phones, growing up here and hitting the bowling alley in the ‘80s as a league-bowling teenager and then hitting Jerry’s Deli afterwards, and she reminded me that I did have a standing promise to take her to a Deli. Well, given that we’re staying not quite a mile away, we planned a lunch. Daddy Daughter Date, Wednesday, 12:30pm. Entered and got seated. Our lovely server assisted us with the order. Me(being on the constant prowl for each locality’s best Reubens) a Reuben, Corned Beef(they also have Pastrami Reubens and combos as well). Daughter N: a bowl of her favorite soup in the world: Matzo ball. The food arrived not quite 5 minutes later(okay, I’m impressed, that was pretty quick!). The sandwich came with a side of shoestring fries and a small cup of thousand-island-style dipping sauce. Since the Reuben didn’t have any dressing on it(and since, in my opinion, it should have) I poured some of the dressing on the sandwich. All combined, it was wonderful. So much better than the Reuben-ish fare we get up in Portland Oh, don’t get me wrong, the Pacific Northwest does a TON of food better than SoCal, but with a 1% Jewish population up there, I have to hand the award to L.A. for its abundance of Jewish-style delis and the ease with which one can hunt down a bowl of matzo ball soup. And speaking of the soup: it was wonderful. Everything Daughter N. hoped and dreamed of, softball-sized ball in the middle and it was light and fluffy and perfect. Tons of chicken chunks and noodles floating around in the flavorful broth as well. And so big, she couldn’t finish it! Which is really rare for her because she’s been known to down an entire quart here and there. In all, an excellent meal. Maybe I’ve been away from deli’s for too long — I don’t know. I kind of got cold feet seeing some of the marginal other reviews here. But this diner had none of the problems mentioned. The service, food, and prices were great for what we got. Living a kilomile away, I can’t say I’ll be back soon. But I can say I’ll most likely swing back in here next time we’re down for a visit. Dan«Big Ball» N.

I was so disappointed today with my experience here! Fist of all, I’ve never given this place more than 3 stars for the same issues as many other Unilocalers(general quality vs. high pricing) and will always recommend Factor’s Deli over this place. Tonight marked my third bad experience, however, and I think that after this, I will not be back. My whole family has been sort of sick all week and so we haven’t done much shopping, I sort of wanted some soup, etc. We ordered delivery, and were told that our order would be delivered in an hour and ten minutes. When our order was officially 30 minutes late, I called the deli to inquire about whether the driver might be lost and was told«well, we have two drivers and their both out, so I’m sure he’s on his way.» K When the food arrived a short time later(about 45 minutes after promised delivery time, almost 2 hours after ordering), it has obviously been sitting in the restaurant or the driver’s car for a LONG time. The food was cold, and had caused condensation all over the containers that our sandwiches came in, making the toasted bread and fries totally soggy. The mazto ball soup was also cold, even in the insulated container. After too many lackluster experiences, I have to say that I won’t be back. From the other reviews, it seems that I have little new to say from my fellow Unilocalers, and that Jerry’s should probably be grateful that it shares the building with Pinz bowling alley, which is likely what keeps it in business these days. Too bad.

No bueno. If you don’t habla Español, it translates to «Jerry’s deli sucks.» Is just mediocre on top of trash box. It’s gone down hill over the years, which is bad enough, but last night killed the camel and ate the hump. The one thing keeping Jerry’s alive was it’s desserts for my bf and I, namely the cheesecake. We would come and get a slice that was always big enough for us to share, even though we would always get two..(don’t judge us). Last night was one of those nights and, well. .we ended up throwing half of the ONE slice we got away. They changed the way they make it. It’s now pre cut, with a pie crust on it. If you’re a cheesecake lover, you know there is nothing more awful then pie crust on cheesecake. Yuck. Now the slices are thin, and still cost $ 8. It tasted more like egg custard then NY style cheesecake. Simply awful. Jerry is officially dead to us. RIP

My Unilocaler instincts should’ve told me that the 2.5 star average for this place meant to stay away, but my boyfriend had really been wanting to take me here so I went. Service was good and the interior was so stylish and cute! Very red and black. The booth we sat at was very clean and comfy and the whole place looked clean. The servers wore black which matched the interior nicely. I ordered a Cobb salad without cheese or dressing. The dish looked nicely prepared when I got it, but my first bite had a pineapple chunk in it. It tastes good, but was definitely not part of the ingredients for a Cobb salad. Nevertheless, the salad tastes good and appeared to be all clear of cheese, dressing or more pineapple. So, I ate about half of it and took the rest in a to-go box. As I scraped the salad into the box I noticed cheddar cheese shreds were on the plate?! I had specifically ordered it without the usually includes feta cheese, but instead there was cheddar hiding at the bottom? Granted, these were all edible ingredients, but my Cobb salad had become a mystery salad. The sweet potato fries were good, but the lack of efficiency in the kitchen makes me have no intention of returning. Oh well…
