Ready Set Run

had a great buying experience my first time in there today. Going to the police academy in a couple months, so need to get serious about endurance/​long-​distance running… walked in, told the sales woman my situation and that I was ready to buy a «good» pair of shoes, never mentioned a budget… and she never pushed me at all to buy a pricier pair of shoes. She took measurements of my foot, had me run on the treadmill, and brought out several pairs of running shoes to fit my foot and running style. I tried all of them on the treadmill and was able to whittle it down to the pair that fit and felt the best. The pair I ended up getting was $ 119, but down to about $ 109 for a military discount, which was awfully generous of her, given that I am not military but she offered, I’d guess, because I’m a prospective police officer. I also mentioned how I have heard that compression sleeves help a lot with shin splints (my biggest problem), and I ended up getting one of those too. She was very knowledgable, friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful for me and my situation. She also gave me tips and pointers to increase my endurance to train properly, and also three $ 5 coupons redeemable for every $ 50 spent between the New Year and ⁴⁄₁. Couldn’t have asked for a better buying experience, will absolutely come back for any future running gear. Really hope this place does well, support local business!

Went to RSR for the 1^st time and I was greeted warmly by the owner. She looked at my tread wear and knew immediately what type of running shoe that I needed. Best fitting shoes I’ve ever bought. Now I can keep up with my wife on our 10 mile walks. :-)

Ready set run is an awesome local businesses and supports our community with lots of charity races that benefit all of us. I have never had a bad experience here. I make a point to make sure I but my running shoes from them. We all should. They have sneakers ranging in all different prices. They will order special things for you. The sunglasses are awesome as well. Love this place!!!

I have been getting my running sneakers from Ready Set Run since they opened. They are the nicest people and extremely helpful in getting you into the proper sneakers.
As for the lady who said the «white» lady with glasses was rude to her. Well, I know that «white» lady with glasses and have never known her to be rude to anyone who walks into that store no mater your race, sex or age.

I’m just getting into running and I couldn’t have asked for a better buying experience. The man I worked with today (I don’t remember his name) was extremely helpful. He brought a range of shoes that he would recommend for my gait in a variety of prices. A little pricier than buying online but with the help I received in making the choice it was well worth it. I will be buying the rest of my running shoes from Ready Set Run

Went there today to buy a pair of VFF and the white lady with glasses was rude as shit to me she didn’t acknowledge me when I first walked in and another white lady walked in after me she was quick to say hello and how are you to her. The sales lady was quick to help her but I came in first smh I will never never go back in that store!!! Ps I’m only giving it 1 star so I can leave a review.

I went today to get a new pair of running sneakers. The man who assisted me was extremely kind and helped me pick out the right shoes based off how I walk and the wear on my old sneakers. I appreciated that he only brought me out shoes within my budget. He never pushed a higher prices shoe. The place was clean and organized. Great costumer service as well.
