New Horizon Hair Designs

My hair was over processed and Suzi was wonderful. Not only does my hair look and feel healthy, but she told/​showed me what I can do to keep it that way. Very pleased, and will definitely go back.

Full disclosure: I had nothing done here personally. I just paid for my daughter to do her hair donation here!
My friend goes here for her normal cuts. She and my daughter had a pact to donate their hair to Locks of Love together (melt), so my friend made an appointment for a Tuesday night for her and my big-​hearted child to donate their hair to a worthy cause.
We were early, and we were told that the stylist wasn’t ready yet. No big deal, we went to Jewel and bought envelopes to mail the hair ourselves (not sure if the salon would have done it or not, but doing it ourselves made sense).
Our stylist was professional, quick, and did a really good job with my daughter’s hair and my friend’s hair as well. We have a normal stylist, but if we didn’t have her, I would definitely bring my daughter back to New Horizon!

Why the hell did I decide to go back to this place. Went here for a custom spray tan before a fitness competition, no bueno! First the positive, the young beautiful lady who does the spray tans was very professional, kind, and patient. If you’ve ever been spray tanned you are suppose to be in the complete buff, this I did not know and being a modest woman I kept my bottoms (thong) on-​I think she could have suggested to opt out of my bottoms for better results. None the less, she took her time to give me the darkest color I could get, this lead to layers and layers of spray tan. Now for the inhumane cruelty; I had to dry before putting my clothes on in front of an industrial sized fan; in which this private room (with an open ceiling) sits under the ac vent that cools the entire back area! Given I was only about 15% body fat for my show; I was freezing. I made ample attempt to muster the freezing air blowing on my (now) shriveled up shivering goose bumped skin for as long as I could bear. I couldn’t take it, no one checked on me to see if it was done, I turned off the fan and waited to just air dry (under that vent) for over 20 minutes. I was fed up and got dressed. I went up front to pay and Jim (the owner) asked me how it was, I explained to him the need for space heaters for the drying process and how much I was freezing back there due to the vent location and how come no one checked to see if I was done! His «concerned» reply was, «Oh, well that’s too bad.» REALLY! NEVER AGAIN, THIS PLACE WOULDN’T GET MY LOOSE CHANGE IF I HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT.
