They do an excellent job with alterations, they regularly run specials, and they have always delivered on time for me.

i used to live around the area and this is my go to place. now i live about 20min away and i still travel here to get my jeans hemmed. i tend to buy expensive jeans over 200.00 and when i need them hemmed i bring them here. they keep the original stitching so it looks like u bought them that way. as long as i live in mass this is my go to place. the dry cleaning is good to. the only complaint i would seem to have is that it takes them a long time. usually 1.5 weeks for the jeans to get hemmed. but that is a small oversight.

I’m 4’10 and 29 yrs old. So you can imagine the odds of finding jeans that fit me perfectly are pretty much nonexistent. Therefore finding a good tailor is extremely important. I had gone to another place in Stoughton before that did OK but this place was the only place that made my jeans look as though I didn’t get them hemmed at all. They’re very nice and reasonably priced. I also needed a pair to be hemmed to use that night and they were able to have it ready for me within a few hrs. I highly recommend it to anyone else that needs their pants hemmed as much as I do!

I went to Timmy’s with a new suit to be altered about a month ago. The tailor(very small guy, maybe in his 40s) measured me and marked the suit for alterations. One thing he suggested was taking in the legs of the pants a little so they’d fit more closely. No tailor has ever made this suggestion before, but it was a good call. This suit looks great on me and I got a few compliments on it. He asked when I needed it by and when I said«tomorrow afternoon» his eyes bugged out of his head a little. But it was done when I came back. I can’t comment on the price since I can’t remember what I usually pay for alterations. I was very happy with the service though and will definitely be back.

TAILORINGREVIEW and NAILSALONREVIEW! TAILORING5STARS I LOVE this place. They go above and WAY beyond to make you happy. Let me tell you my story… I received a beautiful Coach purse for my birthday back in April. Well after an fun summer my bag looked pretty beat up. I took it in there over a week ago and they said they usually don’t do it, but they have a friend that could possibly clean it. I came back a few days later and he hadn’t had time, but no worries! he will be in by the weekend and try his best. I come in at the end of the week and I give the seamstress my ticket, she goes out back and my heart is racing because if they couldn’t clean it what was I gonna do?! Then the curtains open and BAM there it is, my purse! It looked brand spanking new! and, the best part, it was only 12 bucks! I was beyond grateful. They performed a miracle, which doesn’t surprise me because I could go on and on about the great customer service and hard work that is done her. I know I can ALWAYS count on Timmys to fix, mend, clean, and alter anything I can find in my closet! NAILSALON4STARS As I take a seat in the massage chair I am handed the massage remote AND the tv remote! I turn on Lifetime and sit back and relax. He scrubbed and dubbed for almost 45 minutes, I kinda snoozed off for a bit but when I woke up I was so damn relaxed. I had a nice young man named Kevin. He seemed a little intimidated and obviously hadn’t done many of these. He was very gentle(maybe a little to gentle) I felt like the foot rub and leg massage should be 4 or 5 mins long and mine was only 30 seconds. Also, he really didn’t get the edges of my toenail with the polish, but it is barely noticeable. He was very thorough and did take his time(about 45 mins). I noticed that the only cleaning they had was washing the tools with the water that squirted out of the tub. Maybe they took them after and soaked them? I hope so! Anyway the total was 20.00 and I left a 5 dollar tip. I will go back, even though there was a creepy spider crawling on the wall…

I actually hate to write this because once people know how fabulous he is I’m afraid he won’t have time for me, but I just love his work(and him he’s the best) He really is talented, he not only can alter your clothes but he makes things too, and he doesn’t need a pattern, «Just show me a picture» he’ll tell you! Men’s clothes and Women’s alike. He’s a rare talent!

Timmy the Tailor is a diamond in the rough, a gem, a savior if you will when it comes to clothing mishaps. This is his second shop located in Stoughton that has been opened for a few years and doing just as well as the home store in Randoplh. Timmy is one of the cutest Vietnamese men you will ever meet and to top it off he and his family are like magicians when it comes to alterations and cleaning services. When things are done there are no indications they been altered. They look like they came right off the rack. To date the most recent things I have brought in for alterations, and left all giddy: * A bridesmaid dress — beautifully altered and they stiched in a bra so I didn’t need to worry about finding the perfect strapless. * A mens(RED) jacket from the Gap — which was perfectly altered and reworked to fit my figure. It’s now a one off that would make the designers at Gap jealous. * A long vintage leather jacket that was just was too big was transformed into a short leather jacket that would make Opra naked look sexy. * A t-shirt and tank top had rips in the pit. They sewed they all up, nice and new! They also perform all the basic tailoring and alterations that do not require transformations, dry cleaning and custom made evening wear. Truely takes a craft they learned inthe homeland and make an honest living with pride. There is no cutting corners with Timmy, as well his rates are very fare and reasonable. They also take the time to contact you after you leave if they find out something is not going to work out as planned. Now that’s service. If you go to the location in Stoughton, there is also an ajoining nail salon. So it’s a nice little stop for nails and dry celaning. Although I haven’t tried it, so I can’t fairly review this part. But it looks pretty inside, and the patrons don’t look the bit upset. So I’d say it’s a go. Timmy and his family are also very good at remembering their clients. Maybe not your name, but he’ll rattle off your measurements as if he was the Terminator getting his scan on. I also like that they take off and extra 20% off for their VIP’s for showing some luv. You get this each and everythime you go in once you’re a repeat customer. Timmy is a genius there is no doubt and he is worth the trip.
