Never again. Terrible, TERRIBLE staff. I couldn’t believe the way the woman behind the counter spoke to me! Went very late on a Sunday night, thinking they were open till 10, when they really closed at 9. It was about 8:55… so we instantly realized we were probably too late, but figured we’d ask if the grill was still on anyway. The minute we came through the door, the woman behind the counter started yelling at us «You’ve got to be kidding me! No, you’ve got to be kidding me! We’re closing in one minute!» We tried asking if it was too late to order a sub. She barked at us, demanding to know what we wanted. When we asked for a steak and cheese, she sighed several times and basically yelled that the grill was off, then went back to saying ‘You’ve got to be kidding me!‘ Look, if she had just said ‘sorry, the grill is already off for the night,’ we would have just thanked her and left, even though if your store closes at 9, you’re supposed to serve customers until 9. Still, I don’t like being ‘that person’ so I would never push the issue. But as someone who had to work with customers for many years, you can think it, but you NEVER talk to customers like that. It’s not worth being treated like your money is no good when there are dozens of other options right around the corner.

I have to knock a couple stars off of my original review based on an experience last weekend. We called in our order so we wouldn’t have to wait at the store for it to be ready. Our order was very simple… 2 turkey club Pokkets and 1 turkey club sub. When we went to pick it up, we knew it wasn’t going to come out right. Management must have left the building because this place was chaos. Everyone was complaining about their order being wrong, the line was 10+ people deep and the customer service was atrocious. We couldn’t even stand being inside so just grabbed our order(which they read back to us, first incorrectly, but then confirmed what we ordered), paid and left. When we got home and opened it up, 2 of the sandwiches were wraps, rather than Pokkets. Now at any normal establishment I would maybe understand them confusing these two types of bread but at D’Angelos where they pride themselves on the Pokket — which they trademarked/invented/whatever — they should know what it is! The wraps were also put together horribly and basically fell apart when we tried to eat them. I’ll think twice before going back to this D’Angelos.

Weirdest D’Angelo’s ever. Seriously. This place has been here a while and has not been updated. The staff is super polite yet not entirely friendly at the same time. They’re like zombies or drones or robots or sleepwalking or something. I came to order four sandwiches and after rodering the first two the guy just walked away and started making them without waiting for me to finish. After a couple of minutes I looked at the other guy, who seemed like his business, and he said something like«he’ll get back to you eventually.» He never did. I ordered the other half of my order from the girl behind the counter. The food is the same as every other D’Angelo’s. Good but not great. Also, I looked up calories today, did you know a Chicken Caeser wrap is 830 calories? Holy shit!
