Love their antipasto salad, and their subs. All their food is good, awesome. Have been going here for years and never been disappointed. Definitely check it out. worth a trip.

I used to be a fan of Andreas. I now live in Reading, Ma right on the border of Stoneham. My girlfriend and I called for delivery and they told us no problem will be 30 minutes. 1 Hour later, my girlfriend called up to find out where the delivery was, and the Owner answered and said«we are not going to deliver to you, our drivers do not speak english, and I am not going to give them directions to you and hung up.» I called back and the owner would not get on the phone, and he had another lady deal with me. She was more than accommodating and said she was sorry and delivered the food for us. Because of this lady, we decided to give them another shot, but this time we called in for a pick up. The Owner answered the phone and when he saw our number on the caller ID(I did not even get a chance to say I was calling for pick up), he just said we can not help you and hung up. There are plenty of places in Reading and Stoneham to go to other than Andrea’s. If I were you I would try Stoneham House of Pizza, Johnnies Famous Roast Beef, Capri Pizza! Stay away from here.

This is one of my favorite pizza spots. The pizza is a solid B but they are so consistent and fast(always 10 minutes for a large pizza). I’ve never ordered delivery so I can’t speak to their performance on that. However, if you want to pick up a decent pizza(order with extra sauce, it’s better that way) for a decent price in 10 minutes, this place is great.

Do not eat from here. The employees are not properly trained nor supervised. I’ve seen them do some nasty things unsanitary.

I can’t believe I used to like these guys, but that was years ago. I tried(keyword: tried) to place a delivery order to what has to be one of the largest and most visible venues in Stoneham. The guy taking the order sounded like he just drifted in this country on the back of the door and I had repeat what we wanted(a large cheese pizzza) and the address three times. An hour rolls by and someone calls with a worse accent than the previous guy saying he’s lost. If I could tell where it was, it would like someone not seeing the sky.

I gone here for a while now. Great calzone and a good pizza. Prices are in the right range. They are friendly and have off street parking.

I wish I read these reviews before ordering tonight– we will NEVER order from this place again. This was not our first time ordering from here via grubhub(who has been AWESOME). We ordered a simple dinner tonight-salad and calzone– around 6:46pm. Grubhub posted that our order would be arrive at apx. 7:45pm. Well 8pm rolled around and we had not heard from anyone-finally the driver called just as we were about to call the restaurant. The driver, who barely spoke English, told us that he was on our street and that it would not come up in his GPS. We live on off a busy, main road in a small town… and its fairly accessible. Regardless we gave him directions. 10 – 15 minutes passed before I called the restaurant and asked for some support. The manager/owner informed me that it is cold out(well yes it is, hence why I requested delivery) and that it is hard for him to find good drivers. I asked if he could check in with the driver, or perhaps send a second person with a order replicated. He refused this but finally agreed to call the driver, and called me back apx. 5 minutes later explaining he sent his second driver to go find the initial driver to bring to our house. Our food finally arrived at 8:40PM, and the driver did not apologize or accept any responsibility for the food being late instead stated that there is more than one street with our name in our town… interesting i wonder how that works out for everyone else. Grubhub recognized that waiting for food as long as we did warranted a refund, especially since the food was cold and below expectation by the time it arrived. Grubhub called the restaurant and the manager refused to speak to them. The manager then called my phone and left a voicemail stating he would come to my house tomorrow to pick up the food as delivered, then he would give me a refund but if the food was as little as touched-no refund. i was appalled, that is disgusting. He also called Grubhub back and shared the same message. Things wrong with this message-threatening to come to my home uninvited or unrequested, and such terrible customer interaction. They refused a refund or even to apologize for the delay that was at their own fault. Grubhub on the other hand, expressed equal frustration with the restaurant and offered us compensation through vouchers. I seriously hope he loses his restaurant or goes out of business, if this is how interacts over the phone-I can only imagine how poorly he handles his restaurant, and seriously makes me wonder where else he lacks in work ethic – sanitary conditions, quality of food… disgusted.

Was informed the steak and cheese here was good, upon arrival customer service was prompt, however the sub sucked. It had no flavor. He was all about upselling, soda, chips etc, I was not impressed with the food and the upselling tactics. Much better sub shops nearby. Not a fan.

I have been ordering here since I moved to stoneham 18 years ago! They are great, their chicken kabob salad is a top favorite of mine, as well as the Italian sub. Their pizza is a little greasy for my taste but it’s good in general! It’s a nice quick lunch spot if your on the go and need something. My family orders from here around 3 times a week, we are pretty big fans.

This place is only getting one star because I had to in order to post this review. I must say the food here is always really good and the delivery is super quick. However, today when they dropped my salad off, I was really pissed about how they gave me the wrong dressing. But that’s not even the worst part. A HUGE brown recluse spider was in my salad. When I called to tell them they said I could have my money back but would not be in the area for another 2 hours. Those 2 hours went by and still nothing, I had to call back again and speak with someone. The rude person I spoke with asked why I simply just couldn’t put the food on my credit card? Excuse me??? Finally another 40 minutes later they brought my money back and claimed the spider didn’t come from their establishment but from the lettuce. #O #disgusting #babyspidersinyourfood #PUKE #no. I will be sharing my photo of the delicious spider on my pita bread. And its safe to say I will never order food from this place again.

I have been going to Andrea’s for years. Their pizza is really good. The reason for my review is lack of concern from the staff. I had gotten my pizzas and ready to go out the door when I slipped on tomato sauce on the floor. 2 generous customers came and helped me get up and then one of the workers came asked if I was alright. I said I was fine. I am happy that I did not get seriously hurt. The worker was happy to make the pizzas again for me but I was kind of dissappionted that he didn’t give me a refund on my pizzas. I just think for good customer service and professionlism it would have been a better experience if they had given me the pizzas for free. i must admit I am sore today but nothing to fret about DC

They have the smallest chicken wings I ever had. I don’t know where they got them from. At least they tasted good. I would not order them again just because of the size. But I would try other food.

THEEXPERIENCE I HADWITH Andrea’s Pizza on 498 Main St, Stoneham ACTUALLYMADEMECRYANGRYTEARSOFFRUSTRATION. I felt violated and even police were involved. I wish I had come here and seen the reviews before i ordered but i didn’t. I live in Woburn but was at a friends house in Stoneham, we planned a girls night/secret santa and there were 5 of us(dec 20th2013). We started brainstorming what we wanted to order and where we wanted it from. One girl wanted a CALZONE, and three of us were in the mood for pasta(one wasnt hungry) We ordered from Andreas. the order was: 1 chix broc alfredo pasta(to be sharred by 2) 1 chix alfredo pasta with extra sauce(to be eated by one) 1LG buff chix calzone.(she wanted to take the rest to her husband so she got a LG) When the food arrived and we opened the containers the problems started. First, both pastas had broccoli when we only asked for broccoli in one AND the pastas were not delicious by any means. The one that had extra sauce was EDIBLE but the other one was dry, bland, boring and not worth the money we spent on it. At one point, everyone’s had food delivered that they didn’t like and what normally happens is that you call the restaurant, complain and they come take the food back and return your money, no problemo! NOTTHISTIME, when we called the guy was RUDE to start but it was late so i acted like i didn’t notice. When I asked him if he could send one of his drivers to come pick up the food he told me «no, we’re closing and we’re not coming, if you want you can come here and return it.» I WASAPPALLED, I ordered a delivery because i didn’t want to go out of the house, i was at a friends house and our time is precious because we all live such hectic lives, if i was up for the drive i would have picked up the food instead of getting it delivered. I told the rude guy on the phone(later i found out it was the OWNER) that I wasn’t going and hung up but the way he spoke to me on the phone kept replaying in my head and just couldn’t keep it in, specially because this horrible restaurant is just 5 minutes away from my friends house. I took a friend with me and drove to Andreas, when we arrived we told the owner we had called and spoke to him on the phone and we were there to give him his crappy food and get our money back. He proceeded to open the pasta container and saw that we really hadn’t eaten it, then he started saying things like, «this isn’t right, this is DELICIOUS, this is the best pasta, no one ever complains about my pasta» then — HERE’S THEPARTTHATBLEWMYMIND– he told us(SORUDELY) he wasn’t going to return our money because«it’s not my fault you guys ordered too much food and now u want to return it» O. O At no point did we tell him how may people we had at the house, and even if we did, he has no idea how much we’re capable of eating. Now this has turned into a full out argument, I’m at Andreas and this guy is SHOUTING at me and my friend from behind the counter making horrible accusations and assumptions. I WASOUTRAGED and i didn’t know what else to do– I called the cops. When the officer arrived we were waiting outiside, he asked us to explain what was going on and then he would go inside and get the other side of the story. While he was outside getting our version, the owner of the restaurant walked up to the door, opened it and before the officer could ask him to wait inside he smirked, crossed his wrists, stretched out his arms in the cops direction and sarcastically asked the cop to arrest him. HOWCHILDISHANDIMMATURE but it was good because the Cop got to see what we had been dealing with. When the cop was finished with us, he went back inside to speak to the owner. When he returned to us outside he explained that unfortunately, there was nothing he could do, «i can’t tell the guy how to run his business. he SHOULD want to do good business but i can’t force him.» We understood and thanked the kind officer and were on our way. ps. we took the pasta back. end of story I felt like I had a knot in my throat, I felt violated and taken advantage of and that’s when i came to Unilocal to write my review and saw that this isnt the first time this man has done this, there are plenty of reviews here of this horrible man doing the exact same thing to other customers, he has this strict no refund policy that he doesn’t advertise but uses to con people into not getting their money back. He comes up with bogus explanations for people wanting to return his food and I WONTHAVEANYMOREOFIT. I told the cop that now-a-days with all this social media that i could very easily take this into my own hands and that’s exactly what i plan to do. I WONTSTOPUNTIL I SEESOMETHINGCHANGE. I have written this review in every website i could find that had a review section for andreas. E.V.E.R.Y.W.H.E.R.E!

This place has one of the best pizzas in town. The soft crust with perfect amount of tomato sauce and cheese, it is definitely my to go place. My all time favorite is Veggie pizza with eggplant and buffalo chicken pizza. They have fast delivery as well. However the service can be a hit or miss. I have noticed that when I am ordering over the phone, most of the times my order is not taken down correctly, which is why I have to always ask them to repeat. The people working there can definitely be more pleasant.

DONOTORDERFROMHERE!!! I ordered a calzone from here through Grub Hub. I use Grub Hub all the time, and they quote delivery time between 45 minutes to an hour. I have never had a problem before. So, Grub Hub quoted the same for Andrea’s. No problem. After an hour and 10 minutes, I called, just to make sure it was on the way. The man(come to find out, he was the owner) said«oh yeah, it should be there any second». 20 more minutes go by, and the delivery guy finally shows up. I was very nice about it and said«I only get an hour for lunch, and that hour is now over so I can’t eat, can I at least get my money back for food I’m not going to eat?» He said«I have to call my boss first». Again, no problem. Well, once I finally got to talk to the owner, he proceeds to tell me how it’s not his fault that the food came after an hour and a half. I «should have called the restaurant directly to find out exactly what time it would be here»(which, by the way, he claimed would have been 20 minutes ago, to quote the first phone call I made). It was not«his problem». So I said«well obviously, customer service isn’t a concern of yours either, since you’re not willing to work with me. I’m going to send the food back, which I can’t even eat now(I work at a Doctor’s office and only get an hour for lunch. I don’t have the liberty of eating any time I feel like it) and I’m calling the bank to stop payment on my debit card.» He proceeds to tell me «I don’t care I already have my money, you can get your money from Grub Hub.» I said«Well I paid Grub Hub and they pay you, so you are not getting my money!» And hung up on him, as he was still yelling at me. I immediately called my bank and disputed the charges. So here I sit, hungry and angry. I now have to go scrounge for stale snacks and water in the break room. Do yourself a favor, and go ANYWHEREELSE in Stoneham. It’s not worth it for non existent customer service. — — -UPDATE — — — I got in touch with Grub Hub and they were so nice and wonderful and refunded my money. So, guess Andrea’s WONT be getting my money afterall…

My office has ordered lunch about twice a week for the past 7 years(about $ 20 – 30 each time). Yesterday, while I was eating a tuna wrap, I found a wire from a twist-tie inside. When we called them to let them know(not to ask for a refund or a free meal), they were rude and completely unapologetic. The person we spoke to said«how do we know he didn’t put the wire in there so he could get a free sandwich?». Yes, we have been carefully plotting for 7 years and now it’s time for the free tuna wrap jackpot! They have just lost a previously loyal customer.

my office has been ordering from Andreas so long, we probably put the driver’s kids through college. Put it this way, If I have to pay 10 bucks(2 for tip) for a salad, this is where I will do it. The grilled chicken salad is delicious. Hot off grill, fresh consistently fresh and the complimentary pita bread… whoa Easily a two meal salad. Heres a tip, when my peeps dont eat their bread, i take it home and make pizza. Win-win people!

I wanted to love Andrea’s. I really did. Everything about my experience was great. The staff was so friendly and they kept their promise of having my pizza delivered to my door in under 30 minutes. The prices are also very reasonable. The pizza itself wasn’t bad, it was just a little too thick for my taste. Andrea’s serves up your typical Greek variety of pizza. The crust on the edge of the pizza was actually great — crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The cheese and toppings were also piled on in a very generous heap. My only true complaint was the sauce — it was a little lacking flavor. And the pizza as a whole was just a bit too doughy for me. Otherwise, very solid local pizza joint recommended for Greek pizza fans!
