Josie was nice enough and she got my natural hair straightened, which is very commendable. However, I felt the salon was overpriced (I paid $ 70 for a wash, straightening and trim). My sister had the same services at another salon for about $ 30. I was satisfied with the outcome, but felt like my hairdresser resented having to work on my natural hair (they also charge extra for naturals, which I say is discrimination). Oh, and it’s cash only even if they say otherwise over the phone.

I have been going to Josie’s for a couple of years and have always had good results! My hair is natural now and I don’t wear it straight often, but when I do she is where I go! You can get the steam treatment here that some salons charge an arm and a leg for on the cheap! She is fast, and ANYBODY knows that’s hard to come by in a salon!
