To me it’s always a hit and miss. They have days that they have sale. Red tag are always high. I love there furniture they always get the country’s chic style I like and sometime awesome antique furniture. Some workers there are not so friendly only the black manger lady she’s always nice. But 4 star because I found some cute shoes today!!!

Salvation Army is a hit or miss, sometimes on finding something to buy. But regardless, the workers are always very nice and helpful.

This USED to be the premier thrift store in town; not anymore. Rude staff, over-priced merchandise, and when you get to the counter, you often find out that the price is «incorrect». There are other stores that are CLOSER; I go to them.

Not a good experience for me… Found a great kitchen island with a price tag of $ 200. A bit high but it was perfect for me. When I went to find help to pay/load the store manager looked me over and then said that the island was marked incorrectly and then pulled off the tag and said that it would actually be $ 250. I felt like the price was adjusted on the spot based on my looks(handbag/watch/etc). Not cool. Other than that experience I will say that they had a few treasures mixed in with a ton of non-treasures. Prices(pre adjustment that is) were a bit high but I figure it’s for a good cause so don’t mind so much. Don’t think I will go back to this store. Not worth the trip to a sketchy part of stockton.

Salvation Army, my wife went to look for clothes for me she was treated very disrespectful by the manager. Next time she goes back I will go with her. Arguing with my wife over tag color making a big scene yelling«attention all customers!!!» Over a misunderstanding from my wife who is deaf in one ear. Just because you work in Stockton doesn’t mean you have to be ghetto. Get some training

This happened a few years ago. I had a bunch of clothes that didn’t fit anymore so thought I would take them to the SA. Besides you get a tax break. While there decided to take a look inside. Was walking down the aisle of dishes and saw a box of Black Lilly dishes. Asked a staff person if they were all there and she said yes. A set of 4. Well I thought they would go great with my set of 12. Asked the staff person if they had anymore. She said would go and look. Came back with two more boxes so I bought all of them. Got home and put them where I thought the other ones were but no boxes. So I unwrapped the ones I had just bought. To my surprise they were my original set of 12. How did I know??? My name was written on the inside flap of each box. I discovered that a family member sold the dishes for some spending cash. Said dishes wound up at the SA and I bought them. Gave them to the family member who sold them as a Christmas Present.
