Sizzler

Had not been to a Sizzler in over 10 years. Was very pleasantly surprised by all the décor changes and new menu selections. The place looked fresh and up to date. Ordered the 12 oz. New York steak dinners and side salad. I normally ask to not have the steaks seasoned as they are too salty for me but forgot to mention it this time. Steaks came out PERFECTLY seasoned, not salty at all. The fat on the steak was grilled to perfection and the inside was juicy and tender. Have not had a steak this good in years! I will definitely be back. It was a little pricier than 10 years ago but so worth it!

Employees are all nice. Very clean place. You expect to come here and have a higher class meal than Apple bees or chilies, but they are both better than this place. Steak wasn’t good, and mashed potatoes seem like they were sitting on my plate for like an hour.

Ate here before and it was ok but just had dinner here a few hours ago and I have the worst stomach ache ever, i also have the feeling Like I need to throw up. I just had a small lunch and water today. I’ll never eat here again

Clean place and good food. I was hoping to watch football on their flat screens while enjoying my lunch. I asked kindly 3 times if they could change the channel that was currently showing informercials about health care. They kept saying ok, but the managers didn’t follow up. Our waitress was super nice though.

Rachael our server was the best server I had in awhile. She has a great personality and treated up so like family!
Downside: The bathrooms were DISGUSTING especially on Veterans Day. NO toilet paper anywhere for a good two hours. Trash everywhere and it was far from clean.
Not to mention the man with the black slicked hair who I hear curse in front of my guests more than once.

I ordered the all you can eat ribs. It came with a side of French fries. The flavor was ok, but the both ribs and fries tasted old and dry. I will not order it again. Btw, it’s best you let them know after the first bite the food is unsatisfactory, otherwise they’ll tell you they won’t do anything for you. They lost a customer…

Stopped in tonight to enjoy a steak. I ordered the 6 oz steak with baked potato and salad bar. It wasn’t too crowded so it was easy to find seating. The salad bar had lots of choices. I fixed a green salad with a taste of their Sonoma Chicken Salad (didn’t care for it) and a bit of artificial crab. A little of that goes a long way but it wasn’t bad.
I tried a cup of Vegetable Beef Soup but there wasn’t a speck of beef in in It. I guess my fellow carnivores got there first :) it wasn’t a big deal. I think overall they try to keep items fresh and refilled from what I could see.
My steak arrived hot and perfectly cooked and so was the baked potato. The cheese toast was so good. service was a little slow but not that bad. It was a delicious, relaxing meal.
There were desserts on the buffet but I had no room. Other selections were chicken wings, Mac and cheese, and various taco fixings. The main thing I wanted was the steak and it was just perfect. so I left a very happy camper. I think next time I would skip the salad bar and settle on just a salad or cup of soup. as I like the steak to be the star of the show.

Better than many I’ve been to. Meh…

Love sizzle, me & my best friends comes here almost every morning. Doing the week days. well the gym is right close by so we walk 2 minutes to sizzle. great service! Every employees that work here pretty much knows us…

I am not happy with this establishment. The limited salad bar does not merit the cost person. The place was very slow so the food had been sitting for some time without being replaced. I use to be a kitchen manager at Buffets inc. and would have never let my bars look like this.

Definitely not budget friendly and considering the generic food not really worth the splurge. Kids salad bar was seven bucks… and there was hardly a thing they would eat from there. The Malibu chicken I ordered came with one side! Ten bucks foe a tiny previously frozen chicken patty and some mashed potatoes that tasted like the dried powder kind. I paid three more bucks for some steamed broccoli to make it a complete meal and they were the best three bucks spent there. Ribs and steak were okay, not worth coming back for.

Service was ok. Food way too over priced. For one person $ 22?! Not even including the drink. Salad bar seemed small. Atmosphere didn’t seem clean.

Absolutely disgusting, overpriced garbage for food and the manager could care less if guests are taken care of or not. I will never go back!

I haven’t been to a Sizzler in like15 years, but much has changed since then.
The last time I was in one of these places we were seated first and then looked over the menus like at a regular restaurant, but now we had to order right there at the counter and then they led us to a table. We weren’t expecting this and the person at the counter was visibly irritated that we were taking so long to decide what we wanted.
I just wanted whatever was at the salad bar and everyone else ordered off the menu. I remembered these places being buffet-​style all those years ago but maybe it wasn’t good for business.
They sat us right next to the salad bar so people were constantly walking past us and sometimes bumping into me.
The various salads were ok but the heated items were not. The chicken wings, onion rings, and potato wedges were old and dried out. It made it difficult to identify which salad was what exactly because all the signs were mixed up.
One of the waitresses accidentally dropped a cup and it shattered upon hitting the floor. I pulled my legs up just in time to avoid getting hit by shrapnel.

We asked for napkins from our waiter FOUR times before she actually handed them to us. Everything was way tooooo salty. And the proportions were so small for what I payed for! At least make the food look decent. The salad bar use to be $ 9 per person now $ 12. Save your money and go to HomeTown Buffet.

1÷29÷15 — Today I ordered the steak with the Cajun pasta. It was really good and spicy. All of my food was good and hot. I asked for a loaded baked potato and it was loaded.
I will tell all of my friends and relatives to try this new meal. It was worth the money. I didn’t add the salad bar because I knew I could not eat that much food. I got here after 4:30 and it wasn’t crowded. But now customers are slowly coming in. And, I might add the service was on point today.
My total with iced tea was $ 17.08.
Every once in a while, you need to treat yourself.

This was my first time here in over 20 years. I miss the big yellow Sizzler that used to be at the corner of March Lane and Quail Lakes. The place here looks amazing inside. Salad bar was actually really good with lots of items to choose from. I would come again. Lots of soups to choose from too.

Usually, when we eat here the food and service are ok.
It started off good when, Cezar, greeted us and took our order. He was very pleasant and seated us.
Our server brought is the drinks we had ordered but brought me the wrong drink. I brought it to his attention and it took over 5 mins to get the correct drink.
I ordered the steak and jumbo fried shrimp. I wanted my steak medium/​rare. My steak was med/​well done and the jumbo shrimp were over fried and tasted freezer burned.
My wife was very happy with her salad bar. The restaurant was very clean and so were the bathrooms.
This trip to Sizzler in Stockton was disappointing but we will go back another day.

After my second visit, I figured it was time to write a review.
My boyfriend and I went tonight 6÷23÷13 around 6 pm. I thought we were in for quite a wait w/​it being a Sunday evening– we were pleasantly surprised– no wait– awesome b/​c I was freakin hungry!
Both my boyfriend and I ordered entrees– I went w/​salmon w/​steamed broccoli and the salad bar which is a no brainer as it is THE BEST SALAD BAR!!! The salmon wasn’t good and the next time I go, I’m just going w/​the salad bar. I wasn’t happy w/​my steak during my first visit and the sweet potato was nasty so I thought the salmon might be better– nope! I swear I’m done w/​the entrees– next time, I’m going straight up salad bar. As a side note, their blue cheese dressing is flipping tasty!
My boyfriend has ordered the steak and shrimp (grilled and fried) and enjoyed them all but has agreed that he could make a great meal based off the salad bar alone.
The wait staff is friendly and the people who stock the salad bar do a pretty good job. The restaurant appears to be clean and tidy.
