I came in with a friend at 10:40 am on a Saturday and only a few people were there so we were seated right away. The impressive interior has a lot of space and looks very well-maintained(I heard that it was renovated just recently). Parking was very easy since we came early. Our food came out pretty fast, maybe within 10 minutes! I ordered a small #8 bowl of phở with rare steak and well-done flank(I’ve given up on pronouncing the actual names let alone spelling them haha). The broth was really good and it tasted very authentic! Next time I might get just the rare steak since the well-done flank wasn’t very well trimmed and it still had some cartilage and fat. Their Thai tea was good too! It was strong but just a bit too sweet for my taste. Friendly servers and great service! Their prices are also very reasonable. I only spent $ 7.50 + tax on my small bowl and I still couldn’t finish my food! I’d give them 4 stars but my friend and I spent at least a good 20 minutes taking turns swatting away an annoying fly(picture a ping pong match but more gross HAHA) which got really distracting as we were eating and catching up over food :( Other than that, I had a good first experience and I’ll definitely be back to try other items on the menu! :)

My first and last time I will eat here again. Had food poisoning from the Seafood Chow Fun. The dish compacted with greasy flat noodles and a couple pieces of seafood with a hint of sour flavor. The utensils are very unsanitary, be sure to clean them before you eat.

I would recommend this place over Mama’s! Their broth is more authentic and the restaurant itself is much more spacious. The restaurant just finished remodeling so there’s plenty of room in between each table to walk around. But I did notice the price increase in their food after the remodeling. I’ve tried both their phở bowls and their vermicelli rice noodle, and I’m always torn between the two whenever I come here. Their bowl of phở come in three different sizes: small, medium, and large. Their small is around a regular size phở at normal restaurants and their large can keep me full the entire day! They have plenty of options of phở, so order according to your preference. Their vermicelli noodles are served dry and you just add fish sauce on there to mix. I usually get the bbq pork with it, but their chicken isn’t bad either! As for drinks, I get avocado smoothie. They have a large variety of smoothies, including strawberry smoothie and durian smoothie. I usually prefer my smoothies without whip cream. So if you do too, make sure you tell them because they add whip cream with it. I’m glad Stockton has a decent phở place that I can come often to satisfy my cravings on a cold day.

Decided to get a salad. Asked for dressing on the side(the sweet stuff) and instead they dressed up the salad and gave me egg rolls sauce on the side… the heck? Maybe I should go into details of exactly what I’m looking for. Tasted the hubby’s phở and it was *blahh*. I felt like it was missing something. It took awhile for the guys to get the phở out(they forgot about them). Restaurant is clean. Seating is very open and coverstations may be overheard.

Best Phở ever! I discovered this Vietnamese restaurant 4 years ago and have been coming back for their good food, cleanliness, friendly/attentive service and surprisingly reasonable price. I’m from Asia but traveled around the world and be trained as chef from le Cordon Bleu. I’m telling you, this place is a Gem!

The renovated place looks very nice! Service was good, and they gave good portion sizes for the beansprouts. The basil was fresh looking. I ordered a small phở, which wasn’t bad! I think the broth isn’t as flavorful as some locations in the bay area, but it’s a fix I’m happy with, being an hour away.

My husband really likes this place for phở. I like the roast duck over rice. Very garlicky. We have come in here many times and I am always turned off by the giant fish tank and cramped space. Never seemed too clean but most restaurants like this aren’t. Came in tonight and thought I went in the wrong door! They completely remodeled. So upscale. Nice tile mosaic. Fresh paint. New light fixtures. Really classy. Raised prices by a dollar or so. Overall so far so good. Let’s hope they keep it up.

I’m glad this place open. Good portion on reasonable price, remodeled place and more space. This is one my favorite usual spot. Shame on people who gave this place 1 or 2 star and still keep coming back as usual customer.

Phở Saigon Bay has reopened after a remodel and the restaurant is beautiful. They have added some new menu items that look delicious. Their egg roll/spring roll combo lets me have my two favorites on one plate. The phở is very tasty with a rich, flavorful broth and tons of noodles. Excellent service and sparkling clean. Love this place. So glad they are back.

Reopened after being renovated for a few weeks. Looks amazing and is much more roomy. Food is still great, just a little more expensive. Definitely my favorite place for phở in Stockton.

So happy they’re back open! Love their food. They changed their menu a bit so if you have your favorite dishes memorized by number it may have changed. And when I called there was no answer because their phone isn’t hooked up yet. But they are open and the remodel looks great!

Hmm they closed??? Just was here few weeks ago and food was decent. Was thinking of visiting again and well I guess I can’t. It seemed fairly busy and was in a good location. Well at least thus review will be here. Lol. Oh Stockton… it seems like everything is closing.

Food was OK. ordered the combination special, asked the waiter what’s in it? he said, I don’t know. looks at me dumbfounded, wth… played waiting game, then he said, do you want me to go find out? I ordered hot tea and salted lemon juice and asked to put it in a togo cup. While My daughter and I waited, we were given one cup of water. thought they were going to get the second one, nope, had to ask for the second cup of water. food arrived, still waiting on my hot tea. and salted lemon juice in a to go cup All the Asian restaurants I’ve been to, my beverages were the first to arrive before my food. by the time i’m half finished with my food, hot tea arrived and about 5 minutes later my salted lemon juice. something so simple shouldn’t go wrong.

If I could give this place zero stars I would I just dined there less than an hour ago and there was a freakin bug in our phở and the worst part about it is the manager was so rude about it when I let her know worst of all and I quote«yeah sometimes there are bugs in the hot sauce» like seriously? I could not believe it! and after all that they still expected me to pay for our meal and an extra plate that wasn’t even brought out to us to begin with, we were so disgusted we didn’t even finish it especially with them trying to blame the bug on us and not even apologizing once. Terrible everything!

First of all, if I could give zero stars I would. I arrive during my lunch hour-the place is packed. I stand there for 10 minutes waiting to be seated. A group arrives after me. The waitress overlooks me and asks them how many in their party. The nice guy tells her that I was here first but they are a party of 6. That waitress looks at me and says: you wait, then proceeded to set the table for 6. Are you kidding me? They just walked in and I’m standing there in my work uniform! And to top it off(see attached photo) — look at that inconsiderate a-hole sitting in the middle conducting business like he owns the place. He had his laptop out and talking on his cell. He’s hogging up a table of 4 with no food! Ugh… I ended up at The Creamery-they have great food and better service there.

I’ve eaten here a plenty of time but as of today I will no longer be their customer. I ordered a strawberry boba today for lunch. After almost finishing up my drink I felt something weird in my mouth and it’s not a boba. It turned out to be a metal piece from the metal scrubbers. I was appalled. I could’ve cut my mouth. There should be a zero star!
