Authentic Khmer restaurant in Stockton Ca. My wife is from Cambodia and her mother is a super Khmer cook. This food is very good. I am going to bring my wife back here on my next trip south. Enjoy!

My wife is Cambodian and she cooks well but we still go here for select items. This places food is always extremely fresh and super tasty. Definitely try Lort Cha!

the staff takes a very long time to come to your table, the food tastes mediocre, the restaurant itself feels very outdated, and I feel like they buy their Thai tea bottled from the supermarket across the street then add milk and up charge it by $ 2. my family can cook better Cambodian food than this plus they’re friendlier…

Yes, this is my favorite Cambodian restaurant in Stockton. I actually don’t live in stockton but every time I visit my uncle and I always come here. You won’t get fancy smancy food here but what you will get is great home cooked food for cheap. Every Khmer dish on the menu taste just like it would if one of my Cambodian aunts made it. Taste exactly like a home cooked meal. Highly recommended go support the local business.

I’ve been coming here with my mom for as long as I can remember. I also often eat here with my boyfriend. I’ve tried Chow Fun at other places, but they just can’t top the Chow Fun from here. My favorite things from here would be the Chow Fun and The Combination Fried Rice. Really delicious Cambodian Food.

I love mom and pop shops! Hole in the walls rock! The beef noodle soup was good. I also had the fried quail, it was flavorless. The whole experience was good until I was paying the bill and a roach crawled out of the cash register…

I love cambodian kathew since I am cambodian, I have it two stars cause the last time I went I saw a roach on the wall. I was disgusted and left.

This is a mom and pop, hole in the wall kind of restaurant but the food is sooooo delicious!!! And so spicy too :-P They know how to flavor their food just right! The shrimp and pork salad and sweet and sour soup are my favorite so far. Yum!

came here with my little sister and she found a small bug in her pad thai noodle, that is disgusting! i didn’t even bother saying anything because the waitress doesn’t look happy to be here… she never even smiled! she looked really pissed when we asked for water smh she never came around for refills, mind you it wasn’t that busy either. only 2 other tables… we just paid and left after we found the bug, i can’t believe it

I don’t like the food in this restaurant at all. Not exactly what I want to eat and I came from other state too.

I gave them 5 Stars back in 2011 but my last visit was not a pleasant one. I hope they seriously consider food sanitary and cleanliness. Please don’t touch my food with your bare hand again. Especially when I am there looking at it. The last visit was gross and I am going to stop going there for awhile.

I would SO give the place a 5 star rating IF they accepted debit/credit and IF service could improve. But I will say that the service you get depends on the server you get. My favorite dish is the salaw machu yoeun(probably spelled wrong). Whenever I can’t get something from my mother in law, I tend to come here(only after of course attempting the dish at home and probably failing, lol). Their portions are huge and taste is so much better than other restaurants. Their Phở portion is also really good and a lot tastier than Phở Lucky. As for people saying that they’ve found roaches in their food… I have NEVER found any roaches in my food since I started coming here 3 years ago. I really wish they could accept debit/credit. It’s really a pain to have to pull out cash, only because you might not pull out enough. Hahah. Anyhoo, enjoy!

I went here and ordered soup and found a dead roach in my food gross. Don’t recommend at all. Also don’t accept anything besides cash which is an inconvenience for today’s life style.

We love getting take-out seafood rice porridge from Mitapheap. It is AMAZING. There are bits of shrimp, calamari, peppered sausage balls & fresh ginger. We have had other delicious dishes from here but the seafood porridge is to die for!

11÷4÷13 Late Afternoon Couple of friends and I decided to try this place. Pad Thai– tasty but chewy. Pan fried quail-savory but boney as expected. Ginger salted fish– savory, sweet with that ginger spicy taste but more on the sweet side. Cooked well. Make sure to put in a little work with your fingers if the fork isnt up to the task to get to the more tastier meat, dont be afriad to get your hands a bit messy. 5 Thai Teas Food was good, good portions. Will go back to try something new. Service was not so cool, I had to ask for refills to my baverages which were a water and a Thai tea. To be honest I dont know if the Thai tea was a refill or pay again type deal. Still as a service, a waiter/waitress should at least ask if you would like another one when they see an empty drink. Right? Total: $ 40.04 plus tip.

This is one of my favorite places to have lunch! I am a big fan of #9, but I have also enjoyed other dishes. I have yet to order anything I don’t like. The service is always quick. The food seems really authentic. I will continue to enjoy lunch here frequently!

This is one of the few good Cambodian places in Stockton. I used to come here once a week for lunch when I went to UOP. Some of the things I like was the chow-fun(with gravy), minced lemon-grass quail, and the Combination/Phnom Penh noodle soups. The food is pretty authentic and pretty close to home-cooking. The restaurant itself isn’t very fancy or appealing, but I’m there strictly for the food.
