Eric’s New York Style Pizza

OK my first time buying my own Pizza from here lol ordered a Medium pepp. Was VERY hungry and couldn’t wait to try it. The first bite told me everything. I was ok paying $ 15 for it… I guess. Lol it was a bit salty not sure if it’s the pep the use or the sause. Could use a bit more chesse. Overall the portions are ok. Michaels to compare is heftier. The dough however was disaapointing. Was somewhere between stale dough or crispy thin crust. But I wasn’t thrilled. But the dough tasted ok just can’t get past the over salty bite of the pizza. I had pizza from all over stockton and I have to refresh my memory with davids… but I think Erics is… ok. I don’t need to get it again unless michaels isn’t an option. The staff wasn’t rude they just looked tired and busy. My order was for take out but their dine in looks ok.

We had high hopes because of all the great reviews but not for long. The place is not suitable for dine-​in although seems people do it regularly. The dough and crust was average in taste and texture. Yes they are generous with toppings but in this case, more is not better. The pineapple is straight out of a can but there was no caramelization due to the fact that there was no oil, due to the fact that there was NO CHEESE. They put some sauce, some cheese, and then pile on ham and pineapple (which ends up tasting STEAMED. Ugggghh. New York style? I think not. The search for great pizza in Stockton goes on.

The pizza is great everything is great .
A reason that I may not come back anymore is one of the servers is very rude.
It’s like we are inconveniencing her by coming in ‚
Same server rude 2 times a in a row we discussed last time not coming in if she was the server we will turn and walk out.
Go to Davids or Michaels in Stockton
Or Ricks in Lodi .
The male server is amazing.
Pizza artists are amazing,
I was a server your tips ride on you service including attitude.

This is one of the best pizza places I’ve ever been to, but customer service is very important to me and they definitely need Friendly servers instead of my waitress ignoring my four-​year-​old son when he asked her a question she seemed irritated and impatient and did not check on me one time I’m very disappointed unfortunately I will come back because the pizza is phenomenal!

The pizza is priced well and is very good at this place. Sadly the lack of free refills kinda drags down the rating for me especially when you have kids trying to wash down their 4^th slice of pizza. Otherwise an excellent choice for pizza as far as this area goes

Great pizza at a great price. Front desk at the hotel recommended this place as one the locals frequent. Simply delicious.

Family special always! I love their pizza. Staff is friendly plenty of space. One thing I suggest is they get their carpet cleaned and do a deep clean in there.

I remember when I first discovered this place how shocked I was at the condition of the seating area but then I thought, for them to continue business in this condition, their pizza must be something… I was right lol
Okay I admit, the flooring in this place is filthy… and the tables are beat to death.
But I’m not here to socialize?! I take my pizza to go!
The pizza tastes amazing! It’s flavorful and the taste of the toppings and sauce, mmm. The staff is nice and friendly.
I’ve had a lot of pizza in Stockton. And this pizza is delicious, it’s the best in town!
Ignore the dirty powder and stain filled carpet beside the beat up chairs and tables! Come for the pizza only

I’ve started coming here back when it was Rick’s Pizza. I love pizza and I always come here first for pizza. Their family special is an absolute steal. One large pizza, a salad with dressing and a beverage for $ 23.95, I believe. I get it so often and it feeds a lot of family members, so yummy. Plus the crushes ice is to die for.
Only downside is the environment inside is dirty with torn carpet and the bathrooms aren’t clean with graffiti on the walls. A coat of paint and a good scrubbing would benefit.

Their ice is the best! I love their pizza! Delicious crust & toppings. & I very much approve of their customer service. My waitress AND the guys up front are always so polite! They’re also not stingy with their sodas! Oh, can’t forget to mention their salad. They’re just great at everything! Love coming here to catch up with friends!

My hands down favorite pizza in Stockton. Top quality ingredients, great crust and excellent service. I love a half combination half veggie but I would never turn down their meat lovers either. I can’t say enough about this spot to me it’s a through back to that oldschool quality that you use to find. If I could have things my way I’d eat here four days a week no questions asked. FYI I voted for them for best pizza on Stockton Pizza Showdown 2015 over and over. Give them a try for sure.

The food was alright. Customer service sucks. The workers talk about inappropriate things at times, when children are around. The wait is long when they are just messing around in the kitchen.

Eric’s pizza is so good! We usually just get take-​out, haven’t actually bothered staying to eat inside in years, but either way, it’s a quality pie all around. Combination is by far my favorite, and they do it great here. No soggy veggies or greasy meats. I’ve never had an issue with service, as some have mentioned, they’ve always been pleasant enough. It’s good to have pizza comparable in quality to David’s on this side of town.

Only good as take out. We never dine in due to the fact that when we call to order we already get rude service. I took away one star for the rudeness, I never gone to dine in so I can’t really have an opinion on that.
Just here for the food.

So what do I say about this place besides that my whole family loves this place and most of all my little boy. LoL when we ask him who’s pizza do you want and he always says Your Pizza Daddy its so so Yummy! Our Pizza is always Good and always leaves us thinking when will we eat Pizza from here again as long as its Eric or Greg making the Pizza, I can always tell if its not one of the two… Eric the owner is cool he always asks how we been and what have we been up too. The only problem I have with them is that I wish they would deliver a little later and farther. But besides that they get 5 stars from me.

Ordered to go large half pepperoni half combo no onion with a family salad beans on the side add cheese with ranch and red italian dressing. Red dressing was sooo good! This order was to and it rally took everything for me to not start eating in the car, it smelled so good. When I finally ate, the pizza was not popping hot, but it was still so good. Crust good, thin bottom but cooked through, the edge had a nice handle to grab your pizza and the red sauce flavor was on point. I don’t like anything but pepperoni & bell pepper, but the combination smelled and looked so good I almost took a slice (almost). It’s been awhile since I’ve been to Eric’s pizza looks like I’ll have to be back. Great pizza! Sorry no pics this time.

Wanted to give it more stars but the customer service here sucks. Great pizza. Great lunch special. But when you tell the waiter Thank you I thought your suppose to say your welcome. No Hi welcome to Eric’s pizza. No smile. First time my wife says thank the girl just makes a sound. Second time my wife said thank you she just walked away. Don’t like your job go back to school. Maybe that’s why it’s so empty when I come here. Make the people feel wanted and they will come back. I will not be back.

Coming highly recommended and having a solid 4 stars rating, Erik’s was put on the top of places to try in Stockton. So, one evening after watching a Ports game, the wife and I headed to the other side of town to try the place out.
After arriving, my initial though of Erik’s was its an older and probably a neighborhood staple. It’s a bit dark and the seating booths are made of either old red vinyl from the restaurant scenes of the 70’s. Normally these two things the prerequisite for good food or pizza in this case.
After looking over the menu, we ordered two pies we thought would go over well with our kids and we ordered them to go.
The order was done within 20 minutes and we headed for home to get our feed on. At the house, I sampled both pies and have to say, Erik’s is not stingy with their toppings.
Both pizzas were decent but, other than being loaded with fresh toppings, they didn’t «wow» me.
I’ve said it before. The best foods (pizza) is the one you like. Erik’s is a good pizza but in my opinion, nothing extraordinary.

All I can say is my family loves Eric’s pizza. This will always be are go to spot when it comes to Pizza.
Tonight, two of my children wanted pizza for dinner and wanted to eat at Eric’s Pizza.
We ordered the usual family special with an order of fries. We mostly always get half Hawaiian and pepperoni.
Their fires are pretty good here and we love to dip them in the Ranch dressing. My Son is a Trailblazer and dips his fries in the Thousand Island dressing.
The salad is just a regular salad, I wouldn’t mind if they added tomatoes and olives. Even some cucumbers would be a nice addition too.
When it comes to the Pizza, it’s always on hit here. We never experienced a bad Pizza from here. I would know because I got three little monsters that would be raising Cain up in here.
My kids always know what they want. They don’t really like to many other toppings. Once in a while, we’ll have olives, sausage and fresh tomatoes. But that’s only when my eldest decides to join us.
My birthday is in January and for the past several years, I always have my birthday here. My son’s birthday was last month and he wanted to celebrate it here.
We always have a great time here at Eric’s, we just love the good Pizza and the beautiful conversations we have here.
Like my Son said earlier while we were eating. «It’s fun making memories and having a good time»
Yes we love this place and we’ll be definitely be coming back soon.
Good food and good company goes hand in hand in our book.
