I called Delk about a rat problem we had. They came out with three rat traps that I could have bought at any store for $ 10. They charge $ 200 to essentially hand me $ 10 in traps and say«Do it yourself.» They refused to crawl into the side of the attic where the rats were nesting. Instead they would only place them within a few feet of the door. I told them the rats were not in that area but he said he would not crawl to the area they were. So, he placed the rats traps by the door and came back a week later. Surprise, surprise the traps caught nothing. He put bait on the traps and tried again(still leaving the traps in the same useless place.) He came out the next week and, of course, caught nothing. I said it wasn’t doing any good to put the traps by the door because the rats weren’t over there. He said if we wanted the traps on the other side of the house I’d have to do it myself. This was not a remote, inaccessible part of the attic. It would just require crawling in your knees instead of just walking over and setting them down. As most modern attics require crawling on your knees to get into them, I imagine they have to crawl around in attics from time to time and I don’t think I was asking for the moon here. Several weeks, $ 200 and Delk caught a grand total of 0 rats. Waste of money. If you have a rodent problem go to someone else.

They have nice guys who come out to your house when scheduled, but after being a customer for over 3.5 years I had to cancel my service, and no one even bothered to ask me why or even followed up with me to see if there was a problem. If you ever had to reschedule your day of service they acted like it was a huge problem for them. Like I said the guys are great but the office staff could use some more training on customer service. I wish someone would’ve have called me and said we appreciated your loyalty for 3.5 years but why are you leaving.

3 years later we are still with Delk and totally satisfied with the service! Yauncey is still our service provider and he always calls the day before his scheduled appointment as a reminder. We are still receiving an excellent price for service and could not be happier!
