It was upsetting to be rung up and completely ignored. I do not care to hear personal conversation between employees while being rung up. It’s bad customer service. From now on I’ll do my shopping online.

I would like to respond to a previous comment by Johanna S. 1) Just like Costco can be in shopping centers, you still have to be a member. 2) You do not understand what it is like to be a professional, as evidence by your poor quality of workmanship on your own nails, that Cosmoprof chooses easily accessible locations so that people in the beauty profession can acquire supplies quickly and efficiently. 3) you seem to complain about Stockton though it makes one judge your mental status if you consider it such a place why are you there. 4) I have been there myself and as a professional I appreciate the employees and treatment I have received. I do have hopes that this poor Johanna S with many instabilities and mental issues does not return, though I will remain a loyal customer.

First off, let me say to the idiot who reviewed this place first, for starters, it does say ONTHEDOOR that is is only open to beauty professionals, second of all, the first reason why the do not sell to the public is not so idiots like you do not hurt yourself, it is because most of the products in there are by law restricted to the public, so for them to have to go through which ones are legal to sell and which ones aren’t and to whom is just unnecessary. The second reason is that most of the items they sell in the store are sold to beauty professionals at cost so that we can make money off of them, like the shampoo line I use on my clients I spend $ 30 or so for 2 liters in the store, but if you were to buy it at a public place, that would cost you at least $ 60 even on sale. For tax regulations from companies such as Paul Mitchell, TIGI, American Crew, etc., you have to have a card to have access to the products, and you can only use a debit/credit card with the same name that is on your Pro card or cash to purchase products. Use your brain(or lack-there-of) before you write another bitchy review :) With that being said, I am quite fond of this store as well as the Manteca location, the girls are always very friendly, and always helpful with any questions I may have. Its very clean and well organized, I am able to get in and out quickly and for us professionals, time is money.

GENERALPUBLICNOTWELCOME This was a terrible experience. I do my own nails. I am not a professional but I do them myself anyway because I can’t stand having some fellow female who I don’t know touch me for that long. It just creeps me out. So out and about in Stockton, CA this afternoon, I broke a nail. After some meth addict welcomed me with a very Stockton-esque«Fu** You!» near N. Pershing Ave., I was ready to glue my nail back on and get the hell out of Stockton, CA as soon as possible. To be more precise, I go into this store, located in a strip mall among other businesses that are open to the public, to get some nail glue and to get out. The help seems nice enough, and the nail product section was absolutely fantastic. Seriously, catch me on the right day and I could EASILY blow $ 150 to $ 300 on some really nice nail stuff up in here. No problem. I am thinking, I need to bookmark this place when I get home and start making some nail magic. Seriously. I can deal with meth addicts for awesome nails. just as long as they do not touch me, we’ll be fine. But then, after mulling over what nail glue to buy by myself for ten minutes and then after engaging an employee in a lengthy discourse over which glue to get, I am ready to pay, and… Are you ready? I am DENIED the ability to pay $ 1.62 for some quick fix nail glue because I do not have a beauty license. I get it. We have an Attorney General in California and there is clear evidence that there is, indeed, «a fungus among us.» Question: Do you read every sign on a business’s door before entering? Answer: No you do not. THISSTORENEEDS A BIGSIGNONTHEDOORIN A LARGEFONTINREDLETTERSATEYELEVELTHATSAYS«GENERALPUBLICNOTWELCOME.» INENGLISHANDINSPANISH. Their current sign is VERYEASILYMISSED. THEGENERALPUBLICISNOTWELCOMEHERE. YOUDONOTNEED A BEAUTYLICENSEFORNAILGLUE. I DONOTHAVETIMEFORTHIS. For you people who are not in the beauty license club and are in need of some nail glue, some very friendly folks will sell you a one-dollar bottle of this cheap crap right across the way at USA Nail. What a concept. Selling me something I can use to repair my own nail at a working salon. Fancy that. At least some people care to make money. I am willing to change this review if the sign is changed or if their policy is amended to only exclude the general public from purchasing items like nail Dremel bits that common customers can saw their fingers off with and dangerous chemicals that might make them higher than they need to be. But nail polish? Nail Glue? Are they protecting the public from gluing their hands together? This is ridiculous, and it is a bad business. policy. Fail. FAIL. FFFFFFFFFF– I don’t like to go out spending my money and time only to feel stupid because someone doesn’t have the common courtesy or corporate planning skill necessary to place a simple plain-as-day communiqué on their door. This made me mad. And this whole mess could have been very easily avoided with minimal effort on their part. But if you have a beauty license, you’re good to go. All of you other proles can forget it! I guess I should be happy that I could even check-in here, seeing how I am so very under-qualified to do so.
