Have been a regular for many years and love the staff in Papi’s Stockbridge dearly. Their roasted pork was as close to the original recipe as you can get… off the chain as some might suggest! I believe it was a corporate decision to make the recipe change a year ago… that’s why I am giving Papi’s 4 out of 5 stars! Over all Papi’s is a fairly good Cuban & Caribbean Grill but at one time Papi’s cuisines stood out among the best Cuban eatery’s outside of Cuba.

I had the masitas de puerco the beans and rice and very good. Yesterday I had a very dry but well seasoned burger. I asked for it medium but received it well done. Today the salad is fresh with a nice variety of leaves. The grilled onions are seasoned so perfectly I could eat them alone. The star of the plate let me down. The advertised slow marinated tender pork is crispy on the outside as if it’s been fried and very dry in the middle. Definitely not what I was expecting. The mojito is delicious!

This place ROCKS! best Cuban food I have had outside southern Florida by far. I had an excellent Cuban sandwich and a Cuban style expression and absolutely loved it. I got my food to go but my server Elena was wonderful, friendly and attentive. I will be back for sure!!!

Great Cuban and Caribbean entries. Their pork dishes are simply delicious. The desserts complete the meal. Oh yes, do not forget the libations.

This location is convenient to my house. I have been to two other Papi locations(Midtown and Duluth) but this location in particular I have been to the most. I always get the same thing. Pollo Cuban Sandwich with rice and beans. Compared to the other locations this one is not as good as those. The service here is subpar. Something about the other locations makes the food a little better. This place is good and worth trying especially if you’re craving something different. The Pina Colada’s are super tasty and my favorite thing to get here are the PLANTAINS! My mouth waters just thinking about them. The empanadas are also pretty tasty here, try the appetizer sampler(enough for 2) to get a good variety of the Cuban apps.

Food each time I’ve come has been great. I will say during the lunch hours it can get a little busy but you are still greeted with smiling faces. I always enjoy a Cuban or empanadas which I just looovvveee and beans and rice yummy. So if you want some good Cuban food definitely stop by, maybe you will run into me lol.

Being from Miami I should have known better. The food was just ok… nothing great. Vaca frita was so dried it almost made me choke. Ropa Vieja was average. Black beans were about the only thing that was good, we skipped dessert and ordered café con leche, cortadito and a colada all 3 were horrible. This was a big disappointment. service was mediocre. Spend your money elsewhere.

I’ve had a lot of great Cubans especially in Atlanta, but stopped by here with my family in Henry County and was overly satisfied. Not only was it delicious, there is plenty of different combinations. The mango juice is refreshing and mango sauce is addicting! After visiting found that there was one in Atlanta. Things just keep getting better!

Grabbed a quick bite to go. I ordered a kids meal just cause lol. I had the little Rey which is the kids version of the Cuban Sandwich. I loved the fries. I’ve been to this location in the past at least twice. I’m sure I will come back. The staff was friendly with smiling faces.

What has happened here in the last few years there has been a decline in food taste and quality? Only the owners would know, but you can be certain that it has declined. I’ve been a regular here since 2011 and posted a review with 4 stars. I spent a total of $ 72 on 6 people with one kids meal so about $ 10 p/p with a $ 10+ tip included. Since my last visit, the dining room has expanded to accommodate more guests and the extra space was needed. The décor has remained the same and there additional seating outside on metal tables & chairs. The service was horrible and may have been due to the automatic gratuity included in our bill that our server was going to receive. Our server showed up a total of 4 – 5 times in our which included, seating, bring appetizers, our initial drinks, once for water refills-which I had to request, and delivery of our final bill. The food was OK and lacked the flavor I was accustomed to in the past. First, the yellow rice seems lighter in color & flavor. Second, the garlic sauce is not as thick and was watered down. Third, the beef(bistec) sandwich was over cooked & burned. It did not have enough meat on the sandwich to even call it that and that’s shameful. Fourth, the two natural juices I ordered at the beginning of our service, came to us about 30 minutes later and the guava was extremely sweet. Finally, since our server was not around we had to get someone to get our bill & to go drinks. All this on mother’s day. :-(

I love Cuban food and Papi’s is amazing! I order the Cuban sandwich with extra pickles and mustard and it never fails to sate my craving for Cuban food.

My boyfriend and I went here on a Monday night date. It exceeded our expectations. Our drinks were wonderful and strong. I got the fish tacos. There was a serving of three with a very flavorful green sauce. He had a Cuba pork wrap. He gave me the other half and we shared. This is a great spit to order a couple of dishes and share. We will be going back.

Saturday May 23rd we were in the mood for some Puerto Rican food and Papi’s Cuban(Stockbridge location) was the closest place we could find. Arrived at about 1:30…the place was mostly empty and we were told to sit wherever we wanted. To our surprise some of the items on the menu were Puerto Rican recipes. Had the ropa vieja plate… very tasty but a bit overpriced at $ 13.00 and my son had the ropa vieja cuban wrap, he enjoyed his food too. Had the pineapple milkshake based on a Unilocalers review… DELICIOUS! Ordered a side of beef empanadas and papa relena… seasoning on the beef was good but the papa relena had a funny taste and I’m thinking it was the oil that they fried it in. Will definitely return…

We’ve ridden past this place a couple of times and said we’d check it out, but never did. Finally did today and .goodness. I had the best jerk chicken sandwich that I think I’ve ever had! I wasn’t expecting very much from it, so when I bit in and tasted the wonderful flavors, it was quite refreshing. The owner, I presume, was very attentive and patient since we couldnt decide what to order. Nice, clean environment. I’m a stickler for clean bathrooms in restaurants and theirs was clean and cute :) Will def be back.

Quick Tip: If you are dining in seat yourself. I have been here a couple of times, but this was my daughter’s first visit. She enjoyed the entire meal! She had the Shrimp tacos, corn tortilla. She loved them! I had the Medianoche sandwich, it is my favorite! It is always good. Dessert is an experience. Guava and cream cheese empandas. They are severed hot, clearly handmade and crisp. Customer service is excellent. My daughter is already asking when are we going back.
